We worked with Alex and Julie to purchase our new home in Murphy in 2017. Alex and Julie are the most patient, understanding, and knowledgeable realtors in the business. They understand that helping families find a home can be a long process but should not be rushed. I never felt pressured to buy a home and they worked tirelessly to find us our dream home. We were very particular in our home search, and it took about 6 months for us to find the right fit for us. They were so helpful every step of the way and we are so happy with the result. We ended up buying a home that had great “bones” and was a perfect fit except for the fact that it needed updating. It was so helpful to work with Alex and Julie and be encouraged by them that it was do-able to buy the house and remodel it to our particular taste.Alex and Julie helped us get a great price on the house and worked with us through the inspection and closing process. We used Julie and Alex for both sides of our transaction in selling our home and purchasing a newer one. They were great at every step of the way. We had quite a few course changes through the process, and they were always quick to listen, discuss our options, and help us decide what would be best.There were times we took a little while to make different decisions, and their patience with us was much appreciated. Other times things moved very quickly, and they were helping us keep the pace and make sure nothing fell through the cracks. We cant speak highly enough about the way they handled themselves, helped us, and dealt with other realtors and contractors when there were tough situations on the other side of our offers, transactions, inspections, and repairs.The team they have built that includes contractors, designers to help stage, lenders, insurance agents, etc. was extremely valuable. When my husband and I decided to make the move from Southern California to Texas, our friends referred us to Alex and Julie Acuna. From our initial correspondence via email and phone, we could already get the sense that the Acunas’ were committed to help us find our forever home. We made two trips out to Texas. The first was just to get an idea of what was available. Alex spent the time driving us around, and giving us the lay of the land. When we decided that the original areas we were looking at were too far from our friends, he quickly and without hesitation rerouted and showed us houses in areas closer to where our friends lived. When we made the second trip out, and this time with the intention to purchase. Alex cleared a week for us, and drove us around once again. He maintained a positive and helpful attitude throughout the entire experience. When we found a house that met all our needs, he quickly and effortlessly was able to not only negotiate the sale price on our behalf, he was also able to schedule multiple inspections before we returned to California.
