My husband and I had really good experience when it came to building our dream home. Our realtors were Porscha Showers and Shawana Crawford. They were very knowledgeable and detail oriented and made sure we got all the benefits we could get out of our builder. They went above and beyond in our building process. Not only did they help with the builder but they had recommendations on the foundational and mechanical aspect of the house that in the long term would increase the value of the house. They also recommended the best inspector, helped guide us on getting a better interest rate on our mortgage amongst many other things. They were very detail oriented and they cared for us as if this was going to be their own house. Over the process, we got to enjoy working with them and hanging out with them so much that we’re almost sad that the building process is done. We have nothing but positive things to say about JL Marsaw & Co and their realtors!

I was referred to Joni via word of mouth by a close friend and alumna who was a recent client. The fact that we all shared the same alma mater and the positive reference was truly all I needed to contract with JL Marsaw & Co. However, working with Joni truly did exceed my expectations. I am a first time home buyer in my 40s. Ive done the research and saved the money, but I never took the leap into home ownership. I also didnt know what I didnt know. Joni brought a wealth of experience and knowledge to our process as a broker, home owner, and investor. She has multiple connections which also made our inspection and lending process a breeze. Please note that even her referrals were impeccable - shout out to Melissa Condensa & Tamill Acker! Joni was punctual, answered all of our questions in detail, was able to communicate via text (my preferred method of communication), and proactively completed all follow-ups across title, agent, and lender with no hesitation. My partner and I are now first time homeowners and more informed buyers thanks to Joni. We would contract with her again for our forever home without hesitation.

As a consumer , I usually depend on reviews prior to purchasing an item, going to a restaurant; visiting a hotel . Though I usually refer to reviews , our ( my wife and I ) decision to choose Porscha Showers of JL Marsaw & CO Realtors was completely independent of any prior reviews . And we are fortunate that it was kismet and not an online review that led us to these talented individuals. There are no “ 5 star reviews” that could have sufficiently described the level of professionalism, responsiveness and customer service that Porscha Showers of JL Marsaw epitomizes .My wife and I were in search of a new chapter for our family of four after living out the epicenter and height of the pandemic in NYC. Dallas had been on our radar for a while and we pounced at the opportunity to relocate once remote work became a mainstay. By chance , we were watching an episode of House Hunters one night and sure enough , Ms. Showers was the the featured realtor on an episode on the Dallas real estate market . We became enamored with how she represented her client and her thought process throughout the episode .So with a leap of faith , we reached out to Ms. Showers , praying that she would respond. Can I say that she is as advertised and more . She took the time to vet our needs as homebuyers and meticulously helped us in finding our forever home in Dallas. She has been a blessing to our family . From the stressful process of purchasing our home remotely, to our first day of arrival , a whole two months later , Ms. Showers was there every step of the way. She even recommended vendors to help us get settled into our new home . Above and beyond does not suffice when speaking of the service we received from Ms. Showers .

Though she was not in our geographical location, she vetted local realtors and matched us with the a phenomenal real estate agent. Porscha checked on us throughout the buying and selling process and answered all our questions, and calmed our fears.I was impressed with her service because once she found us a local realtor, she continued to go the extra mile.I highly recommend Porscha and this real estate company!

I could not recommend Porscha from JL Marsaw enough! Originally I did not want to use a realtor at all. I figured that it’s 2019, and with sites like Zillow, Realtor.com, and Trulia, I could find exactly the house I wanted, figure out whether or not it’s a good deal, and complete all of the paperwork on my own. Wrong! Without using a realtor we made an offer on our first house. We got it for $20,000 less than what Zillow and Realtor estimated. We thought we found a great deal until we sent it to Porscha for a second opinion. She completed a thorough market analysis and discovered that we were probably overpaying by almost $15,000. It’s been months since that deal fell through and the house is still sitting on the market with a new price that’s below what we offered. That’s when we decided to use Porscha as our realtor and it turned out to be a great decision. She found us great houses in our price range that I missed even after searching for days. She quickly learned what styles we like and which items on our must haves list were most important, despite the fact that we’re VERY particular about what kind of house we wanted. She came with us to tour the new build communities and help us figure out which communities actually offered the most bang for our buck. With each community offering different deals like 3% off, all closing costs paid, or discounts on upgrades, it can get confusing to figure out who was actually saving us the most money, but Porscha analyzed each deal. So every time we fell in love with the latest model home she was there to remind us of what the previous communities offered that this one did not. Eventually after weeks of searching we found a house that we liked and was almost $20,000 under our budget. Porscha had been with us long enough to know that the house had everything on our “must have” list, but did not have many things on our “like to have” list and knew that we just fell in love with the price and not the home. The seller even offered to increase her commission from 3 to 4%, meaning she would take home more than if we bought a house at the top of our budget. But she was more concerned with ensuring that we LOVED our new house. The same day she sent us a house that had EVERYTHING on our must have list, our like to have list AND MORE. The only issue was that this house was closer to the top of the budget. But she crunched the numbers and discovered that the “cheaper” house had a significantly higher tax rate and HOA cost. So much so that the more expensive house would actually cost less AND give us everything on our must have list. In addition, she was able to run the comps and negotiate over $12,000 off the asking price! She saved us hundreds of dollars on our monthly payment versus the “cheaper” house all while sacrificing a higher commission for herself. It was clear throughout the entire process that her only goal was ensuring that we LOVED our new home and we do! But her work didn’t stop there. There’s a mountain of paperwork and coordination that takes place between the time the offer is accepted and we get the keys, and she was on top of it all. She communicated directly with the seller and our lender to ensure that they were giving us everything we needed in a timely fashion. She negotiated with the seller to include additional repairs that were not originally offered, and expedited the loan process when our lender was dragging his feet. She streamlined the stressful home buying process and made it simple. We would have been in big trouble without her. Hiring her was a great decision.

If you are looking for a professional, thorough and functional real estate team, look no further! I started the pre-qualification process on 01/24 and I closed on 02/22. I live in Houston so Rebekah (Houston Area Agent) was able to assist in showing properties while Joni (Broker) worked her magic from Dallas. The team was always available for questions and were prompt in their responses. In this market, Joni was able to solidify seller paid closing cost! Joni was thorough in ensuring all documentation was correct and handled any issues expeditiously. I am huge on customer service and responsiveness and this team knocked it out of the park to say the least. I will only use this JL Marsaw & Co moving forward.

Their knowledge exceeded our expectations and we have bought at least 9 homes in the last 30 years. As important is that the agents work as a team and consult each other to make sure the clients get 5 star service and advice.PERSONABLE: Agent & agency sought to know us, our background, likes, dislikes, wish list, bucket list, etc... Bottom line is we were VALUED.PATIENT Regardless of changing Metroplex market conditions, we did not feel pressured as agent worked at our speed, respected our opinion and was not pushy while noting that The agent & agency wanted to do what was in the clients best interest in the clients time frame. (Love that!)PERSISTENT: Agent never gave up on the search when we wanted to throw in the towel and market was going CRAZY. She kept asking questions to assess our needs, noted if our needs changed, and remained our advocate throughout the process.PERFORMANCE: The agent & agency delivered/performed for us. They helped to get us the result we wanted and we could not be happier. We got a STELLAR home in a STELLAR neighborhood with STELLAR amenities from a STELLAR agent/agency.

I cant believe how lucky I was to have Joni and Alexandra in my corner! They were both diligent in their efforts to help me and my daughter to find a home. I know that I wasnt their only client but they made me feel as though I was. They were very attentive and readily available each and every time I called or texted them. Joni was a constant professional and educator in the process. She checked on me at twice a week at a minimum, and made an effort to update me as much as possible. She always negotiated on my behalf, and double checked to ensure it was something I wanted. With Joni, its customer first. I never felt as though she was in it for the money, but in the service for others. Which is rare in any field. Thank you for the selling of my old home, and then helping me in purchasing the new. I know I can be difficult at times. Thank you for never making me feel as though my concerns werent valid, but were able to give alternative possibilities in the situation.
