Brooke is great! We used her to sell a condo and buy a home. On the selling side, she gave us great advice to get the place show ready and had a good feel for the market value. Brooke and Jacqueline were absolute angels! We built a home with KB, and it was one of the worst experiences. Brooke and Jacqueline stepped in and took over all the communication for us. She is so attentive, always texts/emails/calls asap anytime we need her. Even now, post closing, she is still helping us when the builder doesnt come to do things they need to do. My wife and I moved from Florida to Texas 1 year ago. We were unable to visit Texas as originally planned, so our Realtor (Brooke Daniel) was all too willing to visit the properties we selected on our behalf, and then face time us so that we could view these properties virtually. Thanks to Brooke, we were very happy with the property we selected when we made our huge move. We rented a home when we moved to Texas, but we decided to purchase our own home for the first time. Because we trusted Brookes expertise and was very pleased with her effort, we contacted Brooke to discuss. She educated us on the difference between having our home built, vs. moving into an already established home. We decided to go with a new construction property. Brooke helped us to locate a Builder, and she put us in touch with a Lender (who we loved). We credit Brooke for keeping us on the straight and narrow path to home ownership, despite several times in which we were going to withdraw from the process. Brooke helped us to realize what the value of home ownership encompasses, and she was very instrumental in the entire process we went through. Her expertise and confidence was on full display from beginning to end, which was very helpful because we did not know what to expect or do. Even after our Closing, Brooke continues to provide guidance to us. She makes it so easy to feel as if we can contact her at ANY time, about ANYthing. We first reached out to Brooke when re-located to Austin five years ago. At that time, she assisted us in finding rental homes a couple of times. We kept in touch with her throughout our leases and she was always available for anything we needed. When it came time to purchase our home, she was there ready to assist as well. In our five plus years working with her, she probably showed us close to 50 homes. Her knowledge of the home buying process (especially in the Austin area) are impeccable. She is full of all different sorts of knowledge on homes and was quick to point out different oddities such as surrounding land that could possibly be developed and various, quirky features that can go unnoticed at first. She worked on a Sunday night to get us an answer on our home purchase (which got accepted that night!) and walked us through the entire process from A to Z. She even referred to a better lender, inspector and handyman. Austin is full of realtors and everyone always wants to refer who they did business with. However, I would strenuously refer Brooke and Hippo Realty to anyone who would listen. At the end of the day, you want someone who will go to bat for you on anything and Brooke certainly did for us.

I went to her after firing two other agents, who rather then listening to my needs were pushing homes just to make a sale. Who needs to complain with Hippo Realty on your side?Heres the situation, yall: Brooke Daniel will keep you sane -- the highest praise anybody can give to a Realtor, Im convinced, having now gone through the process. I said how accommodating she was? Well, you shouldve seen Brooke when things got truly stressful for my wife and me, how quick she was to say On it! to anything we asked her to handle, how motivated she was to translate any legalese the builder or lender or title company suddenly dropped into our overrun inboxes, frazzling our already frazzled brains. You shouldve been there (but not really) when she came without question to our first walk-through, just when pandemic paranoia hit, keeping her cool yet staying totally mindful of a situation that somehow found us, the builder, the appraiser, and the inspector all in the home at the exact same time.Quick side note about that last bit. I really cant say what was more poignant about that: my frustration with the builders intrusions (granted, yes, he was only doing his job) or Brookes professional poise, quick knowledge, and shrewd way of handling an awkward atmosphere.Actually, I can say, because it was Brooke and only Brooke who kept my wife and me sane.And the sanity continues to this day, even. Just this weekend, exactly one month after we moved in, Brooke was there, ever watchful of her correspondence, to offer her support and wisdom regarding our first major new-home issue: a pretty significant wall leak from an apparent lack of caulking.How about that? I cant say enough about Brooke, Jacqueline, and our experience with Hippo. We had a really tough road, due to some pretty picky and lofty expectations on our side and some timing and difficult buyer logistics. And a little bit of global pandemic mixed in. The Hippo team helped us navigate the entire process including selling a very difficult home in parallel to buying our new home.Not trying to write a Novel here but here are some highlights:- Over two years Brooke probably put 1,000 miles on her car driving to show us houses all around Central Texas. Not exaggerating at all.- On more than one occasion talked us out of offering on a house that she knew wasnt right for us. She was always right. And the integrity to prioritize us getting our dream house over a quick turnaround was above and beyond.- Our buyers finance company was a disaster that, without her, probably would have tanked the entire thing and cost us our dream house. She was on the phone with them literally every couple of hours towards the end. Climbing the chain, talking to managers and the managers manager. We got it done.We ended up with exactly what we wanted. Our long term dream house.I cant say enough about their professionalism and patience. They will always call you back right away. They will answer every inane question you have (I had lots). They will help you with every detail that you never thought about. And all of it with a smile and calm presence where you know youre in great hands.Frankly I dont know how they do it. I ran out of patience at least 10 times along the way.
