Leslie Matt did a great job helping us find a ranchette to purchase. We were retiring to Texas and she spent a great deal of time driving all over looking at properties. She handled all of the details for us as we were remote (inspections, showings, etc). Mark Phillips and Hill Country Flat Fee Realty are fantastic and I enthusiastically recommend the company and Mark (owner). Mark helped me sell my house in Bergheim. I chose the low fee option (as an opposed to the more basic, flat fee) because I had already moved out of state and needed someone local to handle anything that might come up. Mark gave me excellent advice prior to listing the property, took photos, gathered documents, and listed within a day after our initial meeting. We had our first offer the next day, which ultimately led to a sale. Mark was quick to respond to questions and concerns, and monitored each step of the process, making me feel like his only client. I experienced nothing less than exemplary professionalism and courtesy from this “low-fee” agency.

We cannot recommend Mark Phillips highly enough! We’d give him a six-star rating if we could. We tossed around the idea of selling our home for a number of years and Mark was always very responsive and upfront about current market conditions with no pressure whatsoever. We ended up listing our home and another property with Mark and both sold right away. At least two other listings in our neighborhood had previously sold quickly with Mark’s team while others languished on the market. We also recently purchased a home with Mark as our agent and he was there for us every step of the way through a rather unique, challenging transaction. We were referred to Mark Phillips at Hill Country Flat Fee Realty from a friend when we told him we had decided to move. We were so happy we had Mark for our realtor. His pictures and video were so impressive. It truly looked as if they were done by a professional.We knew our home would sell quick once we listed and Mark was there with us every step of the way. He took the pictures on a Monday and the video and pics went live on the MLS on Wednesday. We had 13 showings on Friday, 2 Saturday morning and by 2 pm Saturday afternoon we had 6 offers with 5 above asking price. We were also give the option to choose the percentage paid to the buyers realtor too which was not an option with other realtors. Marks flat fee was the way to go. We saved over $9000 by going with Mark. I feel bad because I feel he worked way harder than the buyers realtor and earned less than their realtor.We highly recommend him. My wife and I were truly blessed to have found Mark on google. We interviewed 3 different realtors before we chose Mark. The reasons why we even reached out to Mark to begin with was because of his flat fee realty pricing on selling homes. We knew our home would sell very fast so why pay full commission price and we wanted to move out towards the Hill Country area and Mark, based upon his company name, might be a good fit for our needs in finding a new home in the Hill Country.For our first appointment he was on time, prepared with comps from our neighborhood, and was very professional and personable. He took the photos of our home, himself, and when we saw the preview of the listing, his preview was way more impressive than ones done by the other realtors we interviewed, who had professional photographers take their client’s pictures. We had three offers on the first day of listing all at or above asking price. We accepted the cash offer so we could close quickly. The selling process with Mark was quick and efficient.Where Mark really stood out was when we went looking for our new home. We found a home that was for sale by owner. It was a home that my wife, both our boys, and I all fell in love with. We didn’t think it was possible to find a home we would all love. To put it mildly the seller was very disorganized and really had no idea of what was required on his part in selling a house. Mark essentially pulled double duty and had to hold the seller’s hand throughout the process as well as ours. He took phone calls from us during his family time and probably did some errands for the seller that a seller’s agent typically wouldn’t do, just to get the deal done on time.There is so much more I left out, in regards to the difficulties in buying the house, from this particular for sale by owner, that it would take two more paragraphs and still wouldn’t do justice to Mark’s efforts.You can feel very comfortable with Mark being your realtor wether you are buying or selling a home in San Antonio or the Hill Country.
