Throughout the process, Afton was professional in guiding us, in negotiating with the seller representative, and in keeping us advised on decisions and alternatives. She guided us through the closing process and went beyond the normal realtor responsibility to insure the purchased home was clean and ready for occupancy (which it was not before Afton volunteered to make it ready). Wow, where do I start? My husband and I found Afton Hominick after not-so-pleasant-experiences with our 1st two realtors. Thanks to Afton, we found a beautiful home in Fredericksburg. In my opinion, Afton stood above the rest. Why? First of foremost, she is genuinely compassionate. Her passion shines through in every aspect of her job. She was our advocate all the way from the beginning to the end, actually in our case, it was beyond the end. After the home purchase, we needed her help overseeing work that needed to be done which we could not attend since we were still in CA. Afton filled in admirably. She is on top of her game, she is knowledgeable, she follows through, she sends reminders, she contacts other parties when the dateline is near, she follows up with escrow officers to make sure we all follow the terms of the contract and she is responsive to texts and emails.
