When I first met Gary, I was visiting Lubbock on an interview for a position with the University. Even before I committed to moving to Lubbock, Gary set aside two separate blocks of time to personally show me around the different neighborhoods before I returned to my family on the East Coast.As a first-time homebuyer, I knew nothing about the home buying process.
