Leah and Fine Point Homes are the most amazing team to work with for realty. She helped us buy our home in 2021 when the housing market was super crazy (when is it not now?). There were 8 offers on the house we ended up getting and we weren’t even the highest bid, she coached us how to make our offer look the most appealing with our circumstances! Leah explains and advises on every step of the process and my favorite thing about her is she gives you all the options and lets you decide with no judgement or pushiness. She is so trustworthy, smart, communicative, empathetic, and helpful - there’s just no one out there like her that I’ve ever heard of in realty! I also love the community events they host for clients, they’re PHENOMENAL and there’s always great snacks and activities for the kids. I have yet to use their reno services but I have no doubt that arm has the same operational excellence and flawless execution. As a designer of over 30 years, I would highly recommend Alan and Fine Point Homes to anyone who’s looking to remodel their home. I’ve worked with a lot of different contractors and Alan has been the best and easiest to work with. He is truly dedicated to his clients and his projects, his attention to detail is unmatched and his communication throughout the entire remodel process was so helpful. His initial plan was the most detailed plan I’ve ever received and I really appreciated his thoughtfulness as he thought through every detail of our remodel. The planning phase included a thorough budget and project schedule to work from. Once the process started, he sent me daily recaps of the progress, along with pictures. This was so helpful as I was out of town during the majority of our remodel. Most projects tend to cost way more than contractors initially say they will, and take twice as long as you want, but with Fine Point Homes, our remodel was complete right on time and within the budget we had originally discussed! Alan was great to work with and I’ll continue to hire him on all of my projects in the future.

Alan met our expectation by routinely and regularly providing updates through an app, email, texts, and phone. That enabled all of us to quickly address and resolve issues during the construction phase. Ive routinely recommended Alan to friends and family looking for a contractor to remodel their home.

This was our first time purchasing a home and we could not have done it without Leah and Fine Point Homes. From the beginning stages Leah outlined the home buying process and explained things at a level that someone without any real estate knowledge (such as myself) could easily understand. She is very knowledgeable in the field with various resources for lenders, inspectors, etc. Leah is super personable and easy to communicate with. When we hit a few bumps in the road, she was able to effectively communicate with the sellers and our lender and alleviate any unease we felt. She was able to help us negotiate several aspects in our favor. Even after closing on our home, she’s followed up with other tips and to-do’s as new homeowners and never hesitates to answer any questions I still have. Alan and Fine Point Homes are simply fantastic. We needed our master bath remodeled, and after 3 disappointing bid experiences with general contractors, a friend recommended them. As Alan tells it, he started this business because if you are going to spend 5 figures, you should be able to get someone to respond to your calls. He lived up to that and more.It started with a professional, highly detailed, and customized bid that he personally walked through. He then did a good job on the design process respecting our tastes while also offering his professional advice. And he presented a thorough project plan walking us through what exactly would happen when.The construction itself was pretty much flawless. They finished 2 weeks early and took great care of our house and they were pretty much exactly on budget!. Alan caught and fixed things that frankly I would never have noticed. Every subcontractor was polite and professional. They used quality materials and took the time to explain to me why a certain material was best (for a shower floor, for example). At the end, it looked great! And each day, Alan would send a note on what had been done each day and what the plan was for the next day. He was always responsive to texts/calls and always told me when things had to change. And he not only visited the site each day, many days he would stay and work a few hours.They probably arent the cheapest, but seriously, pick them. If you are going to spend a bunch of money remodeling your house, save yourself the headache and go with someone who you can trust, can talk to, and will work with you. Ill be working with them again for sure!

We had friends recently ask us if we would recommend our contractor, and we answered with an immediate, “Yes! Alan is the best!!” We did a home renovation to convert a large guest suite into two bedrooms with a shared bathroom + updating our master shower, and we are so grateful Alan is who handled it. Let’s be honest, construction projects tend to come with a bit of stress, but Alan is communicative, detailed, solution-oriented, and genuinely just enjoyable to be around. His bid was thorough and by the end of the project it was basically spot-on. There’s not a problem that fazes him - for example, he ended up crawling through the crawl space our attic in the middle of summer so that we could run a wire as a solution instead of digging a huge trench in our backyard. That’s Alan. He’s looking for solutions, he’s responsive, he’s detailed (this deserves to be mentioned twice - the attention to detail is incredible), and he’s hardworking. He truly cares about not only his work products, but also his work relationships. We can’t recommend him enough!
