He is very knowledgeable and informative in the Real Estate Field and I would not hesitate to recommend him to sell any property you might have. Doug is someone you want on your side.This was our first home purchase. He worked with us for almost a year, starting out slow and helping us get a feel for where we needed to be with what we had to offer.He helped us avoid problem houses, gimmicks and unfair deals. Throughout the closing process, he helped us navigate the uncertainty and lawyer speak that is tossed your way, while making sure we got the most for our money. I don’t think I can genuinely tell you just how great Doug truly is! Doug came highly recommended by some family and we heard about how wonderful of a job he had done helping them find their forever home so we figured we’d give him a shot. I called Doug thinking he was an appraiser as I needed to get something very important only an appraiser can do. He was extremely helpful and didnt seem bothered by the call. He even went out of his way to recommend some appraisers and text me their information right away. I don’t even know where to begin- first off Doug is the most kind, honest and thoughtful realtor you could ask for. He is incredibly detail oriented and brings things to your attention that you may not notice because you’re just too excited about other things related to the house you are interested in. I dont know that there are adequate words to describe how absolutely fantastic a realtor Doug is. We could not have made it through the process or closed on our home if it was not for Doug. Doug has been absolutely outstanding. Our family has been stationed in northern CA for 6 years and were finally moving back home to TX. We started our remote hunt in March 2023 and we couldnt decide if we wanted to buy turn-key or land, we changed our mind about 5 times and Doug was accommodative through it all.A house hit the market end of May 2023 that we fell in love with; we reached out to him about it, he drove over to give us a virtual tour of the house and we knew we wanted to make it ours... He had the offer drawn up within 24-48 hours and by 72 hours we were in contract. Being remote over here in CA and not too familiar with the new area were moving too, he just took charge and arranged all of the inspections for us. He was even the one that connected us with our VA/ military-friendly lender too. It really helped out tremendously and I cant thank him enough for all that he did and advised.He has made this process of buying a home remotely so easy and stress-free. He has lived in the area for a long time and does work with the fire department on occasion so he is VERY familiar with Comal County. I highly recommend him to those moving near and far.
