I was trying to sell a house from out of town. The house had been rented and needed major repairs and cleaning. Barbara Martin was amazing in helping get the house ready to sell. She recommended repairs and appropriate contractors, inspected their work and kept me up to date with phone calls, emails and texts. She helped get the house into such good shape that she was even able to list it for $15,000 more than she originally had planned! I highly recommend Barbara as a knowledgeable, efficient and reliable real estate agent.UPDATE--When I think about working with Barbara Martin, the first word that comes to mind is trust. So many times through the process of preparing my property for sale, Barbara would present choices, and in the end, I would tell her that I trusted her judgment.This is the second time I had to sell a property from out of town, and I didn’t hesitate to hire Barbara as my agent. It’s not easy to manage the sales process from afar, but Barbara alleviated all my concerns. Barbara is knowledgeable about real estate, the current market and how to prepare a property to sell for the highest price. She has connections with contractors for all kinds of repairs and remodeling. If you have a property to sell, hiring Barbara will be the best decision you make.

Through the whole process of preparing our house for sale, Barbara Martin was so kind. I felt that she really cared about our situation and wanted to do what was best for our family. She made suggestions but also listened to our opinions. She never complained about another question, another phone call, another request. She told us that she loves her work, and I know that is true by the way she treated us. And she knows her business—our house sold for a great price! I feel lucky to have had the opportunity to have Barbara as our real estate agent.

Barbara has been more than a realtor,... she’s a trusted friend. She sold my first home, gained my trust and my loyalty. She has an eye for catching things I wouldn’t have known to look for, listened to my needs and made appropriate recommendations based on data and neighborhood trends. She always answered my phones calls and was willing to show me a property at the drop of a dime - with a positive attitude! My entire family has grown to know and love Barbara over the 10 years she’s been in our life - yes 10 years! I worked with Barbara for the last month and a half in the process of buying my first home. I truly would not have been able to navigate the process without her. Her responsiveness, kindness, eagerness to help find the perfect home, and overall industry knowledge were absolutely incredible. Even after closing, Barbara is constantly there to help me with providing insight into repairs, maintenance, etc. I cannot recommend working with her enough, you will get the best service in the industry

After looking at dozens of homes, I began to see how to look at how to search for the home of my dreams.Barbara helped with the process of choosing a neighborhood, gave me the stats on other houses in that area that was a huge help since the bidding wars in Texas was unreal! She took the time to set down with me and list what features I was really looking for as the more you see the more you want and narrowing it to must haves. She understood my need to act on a property fast and got appointments promptly, got bids together quickly and spend time listening to my self doubts and fears and to focus on the important things reasuring me I could make the right decisions. When I found the property I wanted she celebrated with me as if it was as big a deal to her as me! Move in day was one of confidence I had made the right decision.

Saying that Barbara has been great for me would be an understatement. Ive worked with her for the last 3 years as my realtor. Shes helped me purchase several investment properties, more than one of them would have been complete nightmares without her. There is nothing that she will not try in order to help out a client. Including helping me wade through my first commercial investment property.

Barbara and Ray Martin helped my wife and I sell our first home. They do their research and have a deep understanding of the market which is exactly what we needed being first time home sellers. Ultimately, we received our accepted offer after only 1 day on the market during the first open house. The process could have been way more stressful but their guidance, marketing strategy, and professionalism made everything go smooth and quickly. It was great to work with them and we look forward to working with them in the future for the purchase of our next home.Update January 13,2018: 2 for 2!!!Barb and Ray do it again! After 6 months of hem-hawing around in an apartment, my wife and I finally decided where we wanted our next home to be. As such, we contacted the Martins and they jumped right on it. They started by first explaining the difficult buyers market we faced and to expect some tough sledding ahead. Whether we liked it or not that is exactly what we needed to hear so everyone was on the same page. I believe we put in at least 4-5 offers before we finally got a hit. The 4 of us as a team got so efficient, we could find a listing at 8 pm, view the house the following day, and have an offer sent in under 24 hours of when the house was listed. Seems extreme, but we learned that is what it takes to be successful in the DFW market today. We are very happy with their professionalism, level of service, and attention to detail. And we are very happy to have been able to spend Christmas in our new home.
