Deidre Woodard was recommended by my loan officer as one of the best realtors in the region. As soon as I met her, I knew that she was the right choice for us. She worked tirelessly for months helping us to choose the right property for us and our needs. It was a longer journey than expected, however, she steered us in the right direction and kept us motivated that our “forever home” was waiting for us out there. And she was right. Her knowledge of the area, including current values, how long houses sit on the market, and the best neighborhoods was immeasurable to our search process.Professionally, I would say that one of Deidre’s greatest assets is her empathy—once she understood our needs, she was invested in our happiness and nothing was going to stop her for making our home buying dream come true. I have bought and sold more homes in my life than I ever imagined and they all leave a bad taste in your mouth. The process is antiquated and overwhelming. I do not enjoy it. This time was different. Deidre stood strong by my side the whole time. When I was over stressed, she didnt press. When I had a resurgence of energy and positivity, she had another house to look at or another community all together. She was prepared, knowledgeable, flexible, and (most importantly to me) understanding. From the moment I met her, it felt like we were old friends reunited. She listened to our comments and adjusted the listings accordingly. Her positivity is infectious and I could not recommend her more.
