David was very generous with his time and money in selling our house. I first contacted him in April 2009 but we were not exactly ready to sell. He made a wonderful first impression and he wasnt pushy to get a commission. I could really see he was interested in our needs as sellers. He kept in contact with us until we decided to put the house on the market in August 2010. When the house was on the market he spent a lot of time and effort promoting our house and giving me insight/tips on how to position the house for buyers. We closed in September 2010 and were very happy with the price. David was essential in helping me understand the terms of the contract and the ways to complete a successful sale. I recommend David highly for any type of real estate transaction buy or sell. His work ethic and positive attitude/demeanor are his greatest attributes and I highly recommend him to anyone I know.

In 2012 after my mothers death, David sold my parents home. First of all as a professional he has current and a depth of knowledge regarding the real estate business. Since I was out of town, he gave me such good advice about the market in Houston and proposed a precise selling strategy based on strong data. He was so well connected that he had potential clients lined up, and sold our home in a matter of a couple of weeks. Personally, he offered advice regarding my parents estate and ancillary services I needed in the Houston area. I really sensed that he cared about our family beyond just the sale of our home.

David Tansey was really great to work with on our purchase of our house. The only thing I regret was not listening to him in the beginning. If I had, we would have closed on our home within 17 days because of his wealth of practical and experiential knowledge in both real estate, lending, and title companies. David went way beyond the extra mile to help in areas that he did not need to but because of his genuine care for people, easily provided. I highly recommend David to anyone who wants to purchase, sell, and close a home with integrity and in a timely manner. Thanks David!

My husband and I are so grateful for David. We found a random property almost six years ago that we wanted to see - David was the listing agent. We didnt have a realtor and he graciously agreed to represent us. Since then, he has found and helped us buy two houses and sell one.Hes patient and kind and steady. Also, he somehow legitimately knows a ton about everything you could need or want to know while never being a know-it-all.In a nutshell, hes a gifted realtor and if youre considering having him represent you - dont hesitate for a second!

David Tansey just helped us sell our mid-century modern home in Spring Branch West. We had already updated it extensively, but we knew it needed some finishing touches. He provided initial consulting on what updates would help it bring top dollar, then stopped by several times (at our invitation) during the renovation process to answer questions, offer good advice, etc. His recommendations were spot on: we received three offers after the initial open house and closed on one of them last month. Throughout the entire selling process, David proved his value time and again. We would use him again in a heartbeat.

Ingenious, incisive while affable and friendly. Dave’s experience coupled with his personality makes you an expert in purchasing a home. As first time home buyers Sarah and I read everything listened to everyone, Googled everything we could and what I can tell you after seven months: What a waste of time! Hindsight is 20/20 right? Well here’s what I wish I knew back then: listen to Dave. He knows the market. He knows the neighborhoods. He knows the processes, their inherent pitfalls and can put it all in perspective for you. He’s usually a step or two ahead of you and the sellers even if he doesn’t let on. He is also great at sharing how he would approach the deals if he were the seller’s agent. I found that particularly helpful when we were negotiating (or as he called it squeezing them a bit). What he may or may not tell you is he has a background in statistical analysis and he can also size up what you are getting into. Dave possesses wisdom and his service after the sell is the best I’ve ever experienced with anything. One of the things I believe we most enjoyed working with Dave was his ability to meet each of us where we were. He has soft skills I only dream my executives had at work. He is very adept at communicating and approaching people in ways that are most effective while preserving the working environment. Regardless if it was translating between us and the sellers or us as a couple he was very successful in helping the process move forward and ensuring the best resolutions emerged. I would refer him to my mother if she were in the market for a home. She might not appreciate the electronic DocuSign e-mails, but I sure did. Thanks for a great job.
