My experience working with Dan was really positive for the following reasons:- KnowledgeI found Dan is very knowledgeable in residential properties around Austin metro area including but not limited to Austin, Cedar Park, Leander, Round Rock and Pflugerville. He could tell me if the neighbor is desirable for the locals, if there’s any parks near by and the average rent. When visiting properties, Dan makes good recommendations for the type of repair work needed.Dan is also very data driven when making price predictions. He pulled up all the winning offers in the last 30 days in the area and showed me the average, mean winning offer prices verses the listing price. We were referred to Dan as we started our house search from out of state. We met through a FaceTime call and answered questions regarding our price range, square footage requirement, size of lot, etc. Dan immediately provided us with lists of homes that met those requirements. He kept in contact with us during the time we were selling our own home. Once sold, we were ready to start looking at homes. Dan listened to our desires and communicated honestly throughout the whole process. One of the things we really appreciated was Dan’s follow up between the accepted offer and the closing of our new home. We didn’t have to contact him, he contacted us to insure a trouble free closing experience.

The main thing I appreciate about Dan is his responsiveness. Dan was very easily reached during the entire selling process. We had numerous phone calls, and I was almost always able to reach him. If he was unable to answer when I called, he would return my call very quickly. He answered my questions thoroughly. I also liked how Dan used the latest technological tools and made them available to me. The documents requiring signature were sent and obtained electronically, including electronic signature. At his expense, he obtained professional photographs for my listing. The technology that was used was excellent, allowing a 3D view of my home and floor plan.

Not only did we walk away with a great deal more money but the process itself was amazingly simple. We were not in a position to invest the time and money that it would have taken to sell to people who were looking for a move in ready home so I was hesitant that it would be a long drawn out experience. I neednt have worried. Using his contacts he managed back to back showings from Saturday morning to Sunday evening. I dont even know where to begin with just how amazing Dan Forbes is. I have bought and sold alot of homes over the years and have never come across an agent as professional, thorough, honest and tenacious as Dan Forbes. Finding us the perfect vacation home in such a cut throat sellers market was not an easy task. Since we are out of town buyers there was alot more work required on his part because he was having to view homes on our behalf. Not once did he complain and the thing that I loved the most about Dan is he would always answer my calls in a timely manner, on top of that when I would call upset he would be such a level headed and a calming man.
