I cant stress enough how thankful we were to have Cindy as our agent while navigating a painfully unforgiving housing market. We met her entirely by chance at an open house. When she introduced herself, Cindy showed us around her listing as if she was our agent! She did a walkthrough with us, told us what to keep an eye out for structurally, pointed out the strengths and flaws of the house, and did a great job overall at educating us. We were so impressed that we signed on with her immediately.I won’t lie; the next few months were hard. Very hard. There were many harsh realities of the Dallas market that I had to come to terms with, and Cindy did not sugar coat any of her advice. It took me some time to get comfortable with the level of risk that I would need to take to be successful, but Cindy was very patient. She frequently took us out to showings. When she wasn’t available, Barry – her husband and business partner – would show us houses. They are both a fantastic team and really know how to pick apart a house. Their insights are invaluable and give you much needed perspective before making an offer.Cindy will listen to your needs and develop a strategy based on where you are financially and emotionally. But, she’s not going to lie to you. You must be realistic, open minded, and flexible while looking for a house in this market. There are things I had to include in my offers that I never thought I’d ever do in a million years. I’ll never forget my first reaction when she talked to me about appraisal waivers and courtesy leasebacks.Bring with you a fair amount of room for heartache, because it’s almost guaranteed that you’re going to lose quite a bit! But along the twists and turns, through the highs and the very depressing lows, Cindy and Barry did their best to make our house hunt fun. We learned so much, they were a blast to go out with, and we ended up making two new wonderful friends at the conclusion of our long (and very expensive!) house hunt.I can’t recommend this power duo enough. They rock.

Cindy was AMAZING to work with! She had absolutely the best pro tips which were amazing for a first time home buyer. She was able to see issues with houses we were looking at before we made an offer because she took inspection classes to help her clients! She even worked behind the scenes to get us money off the closing costs and then coming back to tell us she was able to get it without worrying us before it was done! I cant even believe how much she was on our side and we couldnt be happier with the house we were able to get with her help! she even has connections to pretty much everyone you would need to help fix small things around the house! Cindy & Barry helped me two years ago find a rent home after walking through a very difficult journey. Barry showed me one house after another until we finally found a great home for me. I promised them both that when the time came to buy a home they would be my agents. My husband and I were ready to jump into the house search back in November and they were supportive and ready to help. Through this journey they never hesitated to show us homes we wanted to see, making numerous trips across the DFW Metro and working with us until we finally found our perfect place. Cindy helped us negotiate several thousand in concessions and we are super grateful! We believe we would have definitely paid more without her willingness to negotiate on our behalf.We would have appreciated more check-ins after the option period started and up to closing. At this point we felt like we were somewhat left to handle many items alone. After we entered the process of walking through finding lenders, the financing side of things, going through the inspection, closing and scheduling all the needed repairs was somewhat stressful for us and overwhelming. At that point of our experience we missed the connection we had experienced with Cindy and Barry on the front side of purchasing our home. At closing we didn’t have a closer show up to explain the process as we signed papers. We didn’t feel like this was our responsibility and the right person should have been present. We didn’t want to postpone our closing so we just read through the papers, Cindy explained several things to us and we made it through. We would have liked our closing to be more like a celebration and for us this part was disappointing.Overall we gave Cindy and Barry a five star rating because they put an incredible amount of effort into building a relationship with us, answering our questions, picking up the phone to call us and creating an environment that is evident that they truly care deeply about people.We would definitely recommend Cindy and Barry to our friends and family.
