Knows the local market and is honest about what to expect from the sales process. I liked that James knew the area. He explained the things he was doing. I cant say enough good things about James Beck at Centum Oak Realty. Im a new doc and first-time home buyer, moving to Bastrop from 2500 miles during COVID. Whats more, Im still finishing up my training and there was no way for me to come down to look at properties in person. I talked to two realtors before James and both of them kinda brushed me off. James listened to what I had to say, asked a couple thoughtful questions, and then he hit the ground running. One of us would find a new listing, James would go to house to look at them, and then we would do a FaceTime walk-through with his phone or iPad. The market everywhere is hot right now. However, with the Tesla plant being built and a lot of high-earning professionals moving to Bastrop, the market there is HOT. James gave me sound advice, scheduled viewings and conversations around my busy and unpredictable schedule as a medical resident, and never once failed to get in to see a house at short notice on my behalf. When it came to submitting offers, he knew what he was doing and helped me understand how things work. Yesterday, I closed on a gorgeous, historic home in downtown Bastrop and I couldnt be happier. I wont let anyone I know and love in the area go with any other realtor. Do yourself a favor and give this guy a call.

Best in the business!! Moving from FL to Texas presented its challenges as things like different septic systems and expansion joints in bricks etc are different or not needed in FL, GA, or even CO. Additionally, it was hard for me being so far away and trying to find something. James and his team were there every step of the way answering all questions in a timely manner. I put a contract on a house without personally viewing the home. Taking the time to show a friend of mine the home and conferencing me in via Facetime, is service going the extra mile. Then making sure I could finally view the home when I arrived back in town a week before closing was more reassurance of his commitment to clients. Having dealt with the purchase process in Georgia, Florida, Colorado, and now Texas, this by far was the easiest and most professional transaction experienced. 10 stars would be a better rating. James Beck and Centum Oak Realty truly are the Best in Texas. Highly, highly recommended.
