Our recent experience with Blue Moon Estate Sales could not have been better at every point in the process, starting with submitting the contact form. Google picked up the zip code associated with our home in the Dallas area so my form went there instead of to the Hill Country/Greater Austin location that I intended to contact. I sent it on a Saturday late and the very next morning had a personal email from the Dallas area rep letting me know it had come to Dallas and providing the direct contact info for the Hill Country/Greater Austin location. I called and left a message for the correct location, got an immeidate text from Alex that Lauren would be calling and before I could text thank you back to Alex, Lauren was calling me.From the beginning of that call, Lauren was extremely helpful and kind. She listened carefully and thoughtfully and was always solution oriented. What was an unfamiiar and intimidating process for us at a very emotional time turned into a clear, concise, pleasant and encouraging process in minutes.We had a lmited time frame due to logistics for family members and needed to get moving pretty quickly and Lauren didnt hesitate. Lauren was on site that week. Coordination was smooth, communication was clear and concise, commitments were kept and questions were always answered promptly.There was one area that Lauren referred me to work with Alex on directly and from the first time Alex and I spoke, I had the same experience. Clear, direct, concise and solution oriennted and always available to take a call or respond to a text. We had to work out a special scenerio and she was flexible, fair, supportive and appreciative of our circumstance. I found her to be like minded, realtionsihp based, and again, extremely fair.This was my first experience with Estate Sales and I had no idea where to start, who to contact and what to expect. This is a business area that requires sensitivy, clarity, dependability, solution orientation, and fair/equitable partnership. I am very glad that I chose to contact Blue Moon Estate Sales as that is exactly what I found with both Lauren and Alex.When I have to go through this process again, that is who I will call and who I will recommend highly to anyone I know.

Karen, Lauren and the Blue Moon team did a great job at organizing and managing a 4-day sale of my late brothers estate.My brother was a fanatic collector over a 30+ year period. If one vintage reel-to-reel tape recorder was good, then 32 were even better. Ditto for other audio equipment, musical instruments, toys, bicycles, a truly one-of-a-kind Grateful Dead collection, and the list goes on and on. There was easily 5,000 SF of stuff stored in an 1,800 SF house and 2 sheds totaling about 800 SF.Blue Moon brought order to chaos and was able to sell about 90% of the volume of items located on the property. For several categories of items they brought in subject matter experts to help assess value. They negotiated the sale of the entire Grateful Dead collection to a GD Fan located in S. Carolina.As the Administrator of my brothers estate, my overarching goal was to maximize the value of the estate for me and my siblings and empty the house/buildings to prepare for listing and eventual sale. The Blue Moon team were a critical component on achieving those goals. I would heartily recommend them to anyone dealing with a similar situation.

We were overwhelmed when it came time to sell thirty years worth of items in preparation for putting our house on the market. I literally cried when speaking to Blue Moon and hearing how stress-free the process could be, and after working with them, I can say they live up to their promises. They handled everything, including clearing out items that didnt sell for a small fee. We made more money than we expected, more money than we ever could have made trying to sell things ourselves, and they took care of organizing and displaying and advertising, I cant recommend them enough.

This is my first year as an Estate Sale shopper. I have been to several; held by various Estate companies and have noticed a big difference among the 5 or so in my general 25 mile radius... This one is the best in FRIENDLINESS, presentation, PRICING & communication. They have RESPECT for the client, consumer & neighbors in the area! Austin is full of HOAs and Blue Moon Estate Sales of Hill Country/Greater Austin has made it a point to keep HOAs and customers happy (providing shuttling if necessary).I was so happy to purchase my finds easily - via card payment - with great pricing, including a good sale on some items. I enjoyed talking with the approachable staff & I wasnt treated with any rudeness or sarcasm like you can find when approaching other Estate sale workers, or even owners. I met and chatted with at least 5 employees - all had a smile and were kind. I also got a quick chat in with the owner at check-out, Alexandra was well aware of every items value & the best offer she could request for her clients; but sill find balance offering customers deals they cant beat elsewhere! Judy was also pleasant to meet, she was informative and helpful!

If I had a choice of 10 stars I would definitely select that. Jarrod, with Blue Moon, was wonderful! He was so very COURTEOUS, FRIENDLY, KNOWLEDGEABLE and was always available to answer questions and help. Jarrod was often helping two people at one time and doing a VERY GOOD job of it. I am so glad Blue Moon has begun holding estate sales in Sun City as they are a pleasure to attend because of their employees. They are a well organized, friendly and knowledgeable company so customers enjoy shopping longer which means more money for the client who hired Blue Moon to hold the estate sale. Great job Jarrod and Blue Moon Estate Sales.

Alex was a HUGE help as we were liquidating my fathers estate. As our home is in a remote location, we were unable to have a proper estate sale. However, Alex put us in touch with some of her business associates and ultimately we were able to sell the key items at a very fair price.
