When I transferred to the area for work, I had no idea where to start. I was referred to Tina through our relocation team, and not only was she amazingly helpful in finding me a rental in the neighborhood I wanted, she has provided me with some awesome food recommendations to try with some of the local restaurants. I was even surprised by a special delivery of Christmas cookies on my doorstep from her this past holiday, making me realize that she doesnt treat her clients as a number. She actually remembers them. Although, I am currently renting, Ive spoken with her regarding the process of purchasing my own home, and she has been awesome. Has helped answer all my questions, with what to expect each step of the way. I dont feel like she treats her clients as just that, I feel like she truly cares about them, and wants to make sure they have a comfortable place to call home, whether its renting or buying.

I cannot recommend Melanie Gamble enough! From start to finish, she was absolutely incredible. Shes tenacious, knowledgeable, and truly went above and beyond to make sure we could close on our home. We faced multiple issues with both the lender and the property itself, and I honestly don’t think we would have closed without her expertise and determination. She was on top of every detail, always advocating for us, and never gave up—even when things got tough. If you want a realtor who is committed, capable, and truly cares about getting you into your dream home, Melanie is the one. 5 stars, she’s amazing!

Alan was with us every step of the way. I was ready to settle for a 3 bedroom for the amount I was pre-approved for, but Alan immediately found us a 4 bedroom home after hearing how many family members would occupy the home. This was my first home purchase, and Alan answered every question and gave reassurance that everything was going well through the lending process. I believe more than an agent I’ve earned a lifelong friend and hope to send many homebuyers his way.

I used Better Homes and Garden realtors in two different states for my most recent move and both experiences were first rate. Mark and Jennifer Robertson make a great team in Texas. Their attention to details and expertise on the market led to a sale in 4 days! I’d highly recommend them. In Virginia, Chris Jenkins patiently led us through a long distance home search to find the perfect house in a tough market. Again, 5 stars doesn’t seem like enough!

(First time Homebuyer/ VA loan)I honestly cant express how AMAZING and PROFESSIONAL Ty Shelnutt was in helping us find our home. He was so helpful in setting us up with our home search portal. Found us an amazing assortment of homes within budget and preference. Was instrumental when touring by showing me what to look for and giving unbiased advice surrounding negatives and positives with the homes we saw. Ty was never long to answer emails, and the night we decided to put in offers, he was up until around 10pm after showing me houses all day getting our offers together with his price analysis. He was so hands on in negotiations with the sellers as well as getting to close, while also checking with us on every detail to ensure we agreed. Explaining things more than once and never losing patience. I would recommend him and Better Homes to ANYONE.

Julie Hillman (BHG Winans) worked very hard to make our desires become reality. She understood our needs and wants, sometimes better than we did, and showed us homes we hadn’t even considered. She showed us a plethora of homes in the short window of time we had, as we moved from TN to TX and were only able to house-hunt for a few days. We are extremely pleased with her excellent customer service, persistence to make things happen, and patience with us and our changing circumstances in selling our previous home. She followed through after the sale by offering any assistance she could provide in communicating with the prior owners, recommendations for service professionals, and advice on how to save time navigating the DMV, etc.
