Im here to share and rave about our experience with having Ashley be our REALTOR for finding our first home. Short version... SHES AMAZING! Long version... keep reading for some reasons why.1. Ashley prepares you well for our crazy market.Even from our initial meeting, my wife and I both knew that Ashley was different. She first sat down with us after offering a questionnaire to understand where we were in our home-buying process and shared insight on best practices for finding our home and what its going to take to get the house we want taking into account our market. As first-time homebuyers, we felt super prepared and informed.2. Her communication is top-notch.Once we started viewing houses and making offers she was on her A-game all day every day. She would send us new listings based on our criteria and was available for us when we had questions. When we were submitting offers, she took the extra step to explain all the legal jargon and provided insight on how to build the best offer. She communicates well because she cares about you and finding/selling your home.3. She goes above and beyondWe ended up putting in an offer on a new build which meant that we were going to need to wait for the house to be finished before closing. Ashley continued to provide guidance and wisdom for the next 2 months while our house was getting built and worked with the listing agent and builder to make sure everything was going in order. She recommended that we do inspections along the way which helped catch some things that were not properly done. She was so on top of our selections and everything (unlike the other agent/builder). This was when I realized that Ashley was a true expert fighting for us. This was so critical for us because we needed to move into our new home by a certain date since we were pregnant and also had a lease that was ending.4. Ashley is also well-connected and offers guidance on what vendors are available for additional needs (such as insurance, blinds, pest control, etc). Our process ended up being so smooth because we were able to go with trusted and vetted vendors which we are still using.I could keep going on but you get the picture. As a former Property Manager with lots of experience in the housing industry along with working with vendors, Ashley far exceeded my high expectations.
