I have been looking into Amara since early November, hoping to find an apartment for April. Isaac, Alyza, Martha, and Cheyenne, were four staff members who made the decision of moving to Amara so easy! They answered all my questions, showed me all the floor plans I was interested in, and helped my application process go as smooth as possible, which it was! I am beyond impressed with how well they did helping me with my future apartment, and I can’t wait for my move in. They helped so much as a future resident, I can’t imagine as a resident!

Maintenance guys and office staff are all extremely friendly and quick to offer help if you need anything. For the most part, the exterior is clean with very little trash but something needs to be done about people not picking up their dog’s poo. The pool is always clean thanks to Joe! No more loud parties at the pool or any of the other amenities thanks to Jacob, the courtesy officer. He keeps things running smoothly. Also there is very little crime here now since he started patrolling every night. The apartments are beautiful and very comfortable. Well insulated and very modern. Not only is there a “Vegas style” pool, but there are games rooms with pool table, shuffle board, electronic games, big screen tvs, and board games. Plus they have 2 workout rooms with nice equipment. There is also a beautiful library. Elevators in every building with free garage parking and single enclosed garages for an extra fee. Dog wash station and dog park. Lots of grassy areas for walks with your furry friends too. Close to lots of shopping and dining at The Rim and Shoppes at La Cantera. I love it here!

I absolutely love living at AMARA!!! Its a small, quiet community thats right next to I-10 for easy access to work, and on the north side of the Rim, which is still super close for driving quickly to a spot or even walking over to a restaurant or event!!My cat absolutely loves our apartment as well, and with my help of getting him more toys, accessories, etc. to keep him engaged in this new living space, I love that he feels like hes home now, as do I! 💜I just recently renewed my lease through 2026 and feel great about it, because the front office staff is so friendly & amazing to work with, and the maintenance team (led by Rick) is always super friendly & professional when servicing any issue in the apartment (which requesting any maintenance help is very rare, actually - really great apartments). They answer requests quickly, and theres always friendly staff around you can call, email, or just walk in to talk to that will be more than willing to help with anything!! 🙂My apartment is also competitively priced and based on my research of apartments in this area that have luxury amenities without a crazy price tag?!? Amara is absolutely luxury on a real-world budget!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻💯💯Blondie Boy (my cat) and I are genuinely happy to call Amara our new home!! 😊💜🙏🏻💯🐈‍⬛🐈🐱

I really don’t understand these negative reviews!! I just finished living at Amara for a year and it was easily the best place I could’ve lived in San Antonio! I lived there for a whole year and only had to call maintenance once! And when they did come they went above and beyond for me and even cleaned my filters and drains just because. They staff are honestly so nice I don’t understand these reviews. Anytime I’ve needed anything I usually get assistance under 24 hours if not immediately. They have security available non stop which makes me feel safe. Yes it’s true, the elevators break down pretty often, and that part sucked, but in the grand scheme of things it’s not the worst issue to have. They do fix them and they’re very communicative about when they are down. They always host such fun events with DJs and little activities and we always have food trucks. I highly recommend Amara! The vibe is more young working professionals. I don’t see many kids or large families. No apartment complex is perfect and runs a fully smooth operation but this is the closest thing to that. The issues are minimal and when they do happen they’re responsive and helpful!

They consistently respond quickly to any requests and ensure that issues are fixed promptly and professionally.We’ve had the pleasure of working with Rick on several occasions, and he has been exceptional every single time. Rick is not only skilled but also incredibly friendly and respectful, always making sure the job is done right.

We have lived at Amara since 2022. Maintenance has always been very kind and quick to respond to any requests. Management does a lot of community events (holiday giveaways, events, food trucks, etc). Recently, I had a package get lost upon delivery and Aliza went above and beyond to make sure I received my package. The complex could’ve just said “sorry, that’s unfortunate” but Alyza went out of her way to check everything she could to see where my package was (and it was returned to me the next day thanks to an honest resident who mistakingly received it). We have lived at multiple complexes prior to coming here, but we will continue to live at Amara until we are ready to buy a home due to the positive experiences we have had over the last two years here (and the location is wonderful).

After moving in a few months ago, Im in love with both the complex and my apartment. The apartment is clean and quite comfy. The personnel at the front desk is incredibly accommodating and quick to respond to your needs. Maintenance is also completed quickly. To anyone searching for a lovely, quiet complex, I would without a doubt recommend.

I’ve lived at Amara for the past year and just renewed! I love it, it’s easy access to work at La Cantera and the staff is always helpful. Everything gets done pretty quickly when it gets to maintenance and they’re quick to put you in check if you leave trash or apartment is being loud.

I love, love living here! I own a house and have to mive to apt after a sabbatical year. This community is quite, location is convenient, 5 minutes drive to LA Cantera and the Rim. Just moved here this past weekend. Having a smooth experience so far other than some minor issues, other than that I’m very excited to live here. Cheyenne is like a breath of fresh air, you can tell she truly loves her job & helping others. She has been so wonderful to my partner & I we truly feel welcome and at home. I have lived here for about 2.5 years now and I really like it! The staff is always friendly and so are the majority of people that live there. Very dog friendly! It’s in a great location and I plan to stay here for a while. I see lots of reviews talking about noise issues but I don’t really ever have an issue with that. Occasionally there’s some noise on the weekends but nothing to the extent of causing major issues. I also love that the pool is never that crowded! I really like living here!

We’ve been living at Amara for a year now and the only reason we aren’t signing again is because we just bought a house! The apartments are in a great location. Office staff is nice and accommodating. Maintenance is on time and friendly. It’s so close to the rim and is about a mile walk to a hiking trail that leads to Eisenhower park. Pool is awesome. Really enjoyed my time here and will miss it! Kirby and Bianca have been great to work with and are very nice.

The main reason why I moved into these apartments was because of Rodrigo!!! Rodrigo is hands down the best leasing Consultant I’ve ever worked with!! Passionate, knowledgeable, and honest definitely someone you should schedule an appointment with if touring these beautiful apartments! The best customer service ever and is very genuine!! He truly cares about his residence!! The staff is also very friendly and helpful!!! I still have the end of the year with my lease, but complex is always kept clean, and friendly neighbors (mine at least)! I’m so happy with my decision to move here!!!

I just moved in and the staff is very nice and helpful! The apartment its self is beautiful and so modern. All stainless appliances and up to date. The amenities are crazy!!! The pool is AMAZING and they offer a really nice gym, a library, a game room and so much more. i’m so happy so far!!

I moved to San Antonio about two weeks ago, prior to that I had a short amount of time to look for an apartment from another city. My apartment locator and I found Amara and I instantly really liked everything it had to offer, I do have to admit the reviews had me doubting to live there but I decided to give it a shot.During the process and having to do everything from a different city the staff and specially Bianca were so helpful, extremely nice and resourceful. They guided me through all the process and made sure to make it an easy transition.Now, I have only been living here for two weeks but so far this place is my happy place. Clean, organized, respectful and nice people around. Lets talk about the amenities, amazing pool, I always see someone making sure is cleaned, the building always smells nice. There is a great game room, library and gym that has the essentials.But most importantly the staff has been very accommodating, respectful and resourceful. They make sure you feel at home.And a big plus super close to the Rim and la Cantera!

I have been here over 3 years and love this place. There was a little learning curve when we switch management and I know that hurt the reviews but they are incredible now! We have food trucks come and even nights where they offer the residents free food and drinks. It’s right near the rim but far enough away to not feel crowded and the amenities are wonderful.The look of these apartments is modern and clean and for sure the be at part is the super friendly and helpful management!

From the beginning of our encounter with office staff Kalinda & Rodrigo always gave us great service. They were always friendly and helpful! Loved living here the amenities are great although we were not able to fully use them for a while due to covid. Maintenance was also friendly and does a great job with keeping the buildings/elevators clean. The only couple things that were annoying was parking & pests.There is no assigned parking therefore some residents have more than 2 vehicles taking up extra parking and do not even use them! Specially in the parking garage there was a few vehicles taking up spots that have not moved in months, they even have flat tires! Summers in Texas always bring out insects so we had a few annoying critters but nothing crazy. Overall id give our stay at Amara a 4.5, we really enjoyed living here.

Hello,For those of you looking for an apartment in the Leon Springs area, may I recommend Amara apartments.Before I moved here back in September 2021 I lived at another complex just down the road where I was for over 2 years. I saw that complex go from very good to just unacceptable and my lease was not renewed due to me expressing my concerns to the management company. I’ll leave it at that and without mentioning their name just say that there is nothing Grand about the Dominion (😂)So back to Amara, I read some reviews that were not very good, to very good. So after knowing reviews can be just people that are just never going to be happy I signed a lease and now after 4 months have decided to give Amara a review of my own.STAFFThe staff here at Amara is awesome. They are polite and friendly and actually do care about their tenants. They have worked with me on some issues that were not in their control and kept me updated and resolved the issues professionally and correctly.MAINTENANCELet’s just say it’s nice to see maintenance staff who are friendly and professional. They say hello to you and are always seen around the complex keeping it clean and beautiful. They complete there work orders timely and never leave a mess behind.LANDSCAPINGFor me landscaping is very important as I like to see a well maintained property whether it’s a House or Apartment, it’s where I live and who doesn’t what to live in a well maintained place. When I first moved in I did notice some inefficiencies in the landscaping company and noted this to the management. The staff said they were in the process of looking into getting a new company as they had noticed the same things I did. They did make a switch just recently and I have seen some improvements thus far. It’s only been a short time, but I feel management has made the effort and it does take some time. So for now I will say they have done well.TENANTSWell you know you never know who will be moving in around you so you can’t expect all to be perfect. I will say though, for me all my neighbors are very friendly and respectful. No loud music, yelling, they park in-between the lines, and keep up after their pets accordingly. Nice to see this nowadays.TRASHAmara has a valet trash service and for me this is a first. They come by Sunday thru Thursday and do an excellent job. Very nice to have your trash picked up right at your front door.INSIDE THE APARTMENTSI can only speak for my unit, but they are very well built and flooring, carpet, countertops are all done nicely. Big advantage was to see a full size refrigerator, that’s a plus. Washer dryer in the unit are very nice and work well.GATESSo you may have lived at complexes or even subdivisions that are gated, but they are never closed. Well the gates here are in working order all the time and when that occasional time they are not, they are fixed very quickly, usually the same day or next day at worst case.LOCATIONPerfect location and just off the beaten path for not being so noisy with no other multitude of surrounding neighboring complexes. Easy access to The Rim, IH-10, Loop 1604 and grocery shopping.So if you are reading other reviews and are not sure about moving to Amara, hopefully this review will help you make your next living choice an easy one.

I cannot say enough about all ends of Amara and their staff. From the maintenance crew to the property manager, everyone was extremely helpful in our current situation. Unfortunately like many other apartment complexes and homes across Texas, we suffered a busted pipe which caused an overwhelming water leak in our unit. Before I could even get home from work, progress was already being made. I opened my door to find everyone on the Amara staff bending over backwards to help accommodate my fiancé and I. Not only did they help us clean up and are fixing the issues in our unit, but they have been more than helpful in helping us address the situation and making sure we can return to our daily lives without this interfering too much. We even came home about 8:45pm to see Joe from maintenance still making sure everything was being taken care of. Jim was more than helpful and offered many solutions to help us out. Even though we had an unfortunate situation, I would recommend this apartment complex to any and everyone. Please pass this along to all of the staff members that helped us out and let them know how appreciative we are for them. Thank you again for the exceptional service from everyone.

AAAAA+Super recommended 5 Star hotel AMARA apartments. Hello to everybody. I have been leaving in Amara for a while and I have to say that their service is concierge level specially if something is not working properly they send the masters Lupe & Tom and they magically fix everything quick and quietly. We were in a bind to find a place quickly, Maddie and her staff especially Rodrigo were so professional and welcoming. We toured on a Saturday and on Monday we had signed our lease documents. This place is dog friendly and what sold us was the backyard for our dog, she loves it as do we. Jim, the maintenance man is friendly and approachable. With any new construction you will have some hiccups. Weve had to submit several maintenance request when we first moved in and all of them were addressed in 24 hours or less. The community is beautiful with excellent amenities. The area is very peaceful and feels like a resort and there is plenty of shopping and dinning options at the Rim and La Cantera . If you are looking to move or relocating to San Antonio I highly suggest you check out Amara.

It was a rough year and the way they take care of everything with the most caring attitude was exactly where i needed to be for my fresh start!!! I was not just a resident with a monthly rental check. I was a friend as they were to me. Fortunately i am moving but it has Nothing to do with Amara. Its the first grand baby!!
