I love my little house I think its beautiful its small and then its nice you dont have to pay for laundry theyre very loving and they look out for you and theyll protect you I love living here its very quiet at night the air conditioner in the heater in the hot water or wonderful small but they didnt like very nice and they were smart about it with a very high ceilings and thats like a little bedroom and like a big bathroom in the living room and the kitchen are connected its pretty though you have a nice porch and its not like living like an apartment you dont have people that are on the other side of the wall and take your living in your own little house and they have like security alarm 24 hours security you dont ever have to worry about somebody kicking your door in you can sleep with your door open if you wanted to its pretty very hard and the managers are pretty nice at least one we have now its very kind and considerate non-judging actually cares about you and the people that are here I like it I wish I didnt have to move but anyway life goes on in the big city right -

Thought I should weigh in since people have negative things to say. This program is amazing. They try so hard to help my person but hes very closed off. They can only do what you let them do! And there are a LOT of things they do to help reintroduce/reintegrate people into mainstream society. Most people take the opportunity as a stepping stone, then flourish once they can move out of the cottage and into a new house/apartment. Trust the process this time- you have to understand they are working with chronically homeless MHMR patients. This place is actually doing a lot more than the Bridge or even most charities around DFW. Id honestly say that if someone has something bad to say about the Cottages- theyve either never been there or they broke rules and got banned from the property, guaranteed. -
