EnergyFunders has been an excellent vehicle for me to invest in the E&P part of the oil industry. There are a variety of projects offered that suit any risk level. They have delivered revenue checks as projects have come on line and offered full accounting. Casey and Reed have answered every question have asked them and have thus far proven fair and honest. In an industry that has a reputation of being somewhat shady, the transparency offered by EnergyFunders inspires confidence.Please note that the above review was under previous management. I still continue to recive checks on my previous investments. The new management team to my recollection has not reached out to me beyond mass emailing of new investments. I can neither reccomend or castigate Energy Funders under the new management team. Updated 11/9/21

A direct investment in oil and gas assets, made possible through EnergyFunders, has created an effective means to diversify our portfolio. Having their team in place to help qualify and vet small/mid-sized O&G operators truly helped streamline the due diligence process.

I joined Energyfunders in late 2018 and have spread capital across five deals. When I first joined I had very little knowledge of this asset class. I decided to invest because I wanted to add higher return potential to my portfolio. I also knew that the tax benefits would mitigate the higher risk involved. To date one of the five projects has hit and the other deals are still TBD. Of all the many crowdfunding platforms I have used, Energyfunders has far and away the best investor relations. All deals have thorough documentation and there is a video summary/ webinar for every deal. I also appreciate the 1 on 1 phone calls where I can learn and ask more about the pros and cons of each project. My calendar is packed so I appreciate being able to schedule calls around my availability. I highly recommend Energyfunders to accredited investors wanting to add higher returns to his or her portfolio.

I had not previously invested in Oil & Gas projects but was particularly impressed with this company and the way they have simplified Oil & Gas investing and made it more accessible and practical to incorporate into a broader portfolio. I have been investing with them for several years now and am so glad I found them.

Invested in 2 projects: EF VC8 & EF VC14. EF VC8 has returned 20% of original investment to date. The wells were drilled they just didnt perform as well as we thought. I still receive monthly checks and honestly everytime I call they pick up the phone. VC14 has been a home run. My first monthly check was 8% of my invested capital and payback is expected in the first 18 months. I understand the risks of the investment and think the only way to make money in this industry is to spread out your risked capital with good operators.

Oil and Gas investing can be complicated but EnergyFunders provides great communication all the way through the investment process with plenty of updates along the way. Im glad I found a group that I can trust when it comes to this industry.

Found this group on SeedInvest and invested. Really like their communications. I think they’ve got a shot at making it. Never really considered oil and gas investing before this.
