Stuart was the best service technician I have ever had. He came once a year ago and was able to come for my annual service I needed this year. After inspection he told me about a new UV system by Premierone.I went ahead and had it installed and this system will help my air quality improve, better than what my current UV system I have. He was extremely thorough in all that he did on the UV installation and my service. I will never call anyone else for service on my AC, plumbing and electrical issues!! He came in and went to my thermostat and hit the emergency heat and we felt heat I had not felt in the last month. He knew exactly what the problem was. He went into the attic and the direct line was eaten up by something. My heater is working wonderful now. In fact I had to turn it down because it got hot in the house. Julian is a keeper. I have used Willard’s (previously Max Mechanical) for years, and they have always been helpful and professional. Stuart came out late at night to try to fix my broken heater, and then sent the amazing Eric Hilton when it needed specialized help. Within hours, Eric had the heat going in my house, which I am beyond grateful for! This company truly demonstrates how much they care for their customers!

At the beginning of December we had our heater serviced by Shelby Black, who did a wonderful job and identified an issue within our heating unit. He was very thorough in explaining the issue and what they could do to fix it, very knowledgeable, super polite and nice guy. I did not agree to the work right away, I wanted to discuss with my husband first. But Shelby made sure the price quoted was locked in for me if we decided to move forward.Once the work was approved by us and Willard set up a date for us, Michael Ruddell came to change out a part on our heater, he was quick and thorough in checking and repairing everything that was needing to be done. He showed me before and after pictures and went through the process with me and was very knowledgeable when explaining and answering questions, also super polite and nice guy.Both of these gentlemen did a fantastic job at taking care of us. We have been using Willard (even when they were formerly MES) for more than 10 years and I would highly recommend Willard for your AC & Heating needs.

I had some old Mixet valves that were starting to drip. Donald inspected them and provided me a quote for the cartridges that needed to be ordered. Once the cartridges arrived he replaced them and they work like new. Donald was very helpful, explained the reasons the cartridges had worn out and provide quotes for some recommended maintenance along with some other work I asked about. I would recommend Donald to anyone with a plumbing issue.

Very patient and informative. He handled the issue quickly to get a little more life out of my old water heater and helped me go through all the options for figuring out next steps on a timeline that gives me a few months to set aside money so I don’t have to finance anything. He was also really nice to my dogs even though they are Great Pyrenees puppies that don’t realize how big they are and jump and paw and generally haven’t mastered consistently having good manners.

Stewie was very thorough and unfortunately his inspection found that we had mold. We came up with a plan to correct it. I also had some issues with the balance of the heat and air in my bedroom to the family room and he worked on the dampers to try to make that more balanced and said he’ll check it again when he comes out for inspection after the other services are done. He was knowledgeable, friendly, personable and I enjoyed our time with him. Please always send Stewie back to work on our units.

Willard has been taking care of my AC needs since they acquired MES (metro express services). Julian came to do a maintenance check for winter. He pointed out a couple of incorrect switches that was set by previous technicians. He seemed knowledgeable and got things done quickly and most importantly, did not make a mess. He gave me a few options to keep the system optimize as well as explaining of why they are needed while others are not. Overall, a good technician will be good for the company.

The repairman, Adrian Lerma, provided excellent and efficient service replacing the defective circuit board in the HVAC unit. It took only 15 minutes to complete the task. The cost of the circuit board was under warranty, so there was no charge for the part. However, the labor cost was $335.20 for 15 minutes of actual work, which is ridiculously over charged and a total rip off. I paid for the service warranty, which eliminated the despatch charge, the warranty on the unit covered the parts cost, but over $300 for less than 30 minutes of work to unscrew an access panel, unplug and remove a circuit board, plug in a replacement circuit board and reinstall the cover panel, an absorbed over charge for the work required.

He did find some small areas of concern in his assessment of our system and gave us some quotes, though the quotes seemed high for the work to be performed. I declined the additional services for now and will seek a second opinion before making a decision. I would overall rate my service a 4.5, as it felt like a bit of a sales pitch and I was asked to leave my review in Davids presence (I declined), but also understand the pressure that he likely receives in the competitive market today. I use Willard for my services, but previously it was owned and operated as MES.

Steward Smith arrived within an hour after making the call. Found the problem causing a fault code on my thermostat. A mouse had climbed into the vents on top of the compressor and chewed a hole in one of the wires. Problem fixed and fault code cleared. He still wants to come back in a few days to change the sensor. He also suggest I buy a net covering to keep mice, leaves, and acorns out of the unit.Good advice, I just ordered on from Amazon.

I havent actually went to the attic to do a close over all inspection of the newly installed heating and air conditioner system, one thing that I did notice when Gabriel Guadarrama and his assistant took me to the attic to view the newly installed unit. The first thing I noticed was the unit was not sitting on the two by fours of the rooms below instead it was suspended, hanging from the rafters of the roof of the house. Of all the many years Ive lived in this house Ive never seen my HVAC unit hanging from the rafters of the roof of the house. In my view all that weight suspended from the roof rafters is going to cause the roof to sag causing damage to the roof. Is this some type of new procedure, that I’m not aware of, is this up to city code, I’ve never had an HVAC suspended from the roof rafters prior to this installation?
