    I cant say enough how much integrity Michael has. Hes now done 2 major projects for me and both were flawless and less expensive than any other quotes I received.     So impressed by the professional work which is hard to find nowadays. The workers were set to come and replace my whole HVAC system, and of course it predicted to rain on and off all day. However as luck would have it it poured all day. Surely, I was out of luck and have to wait. Wrong! To my surprise Michael Van Ness and his crew showed up and worked none stop. Michael even brought with him a tent to keep his workers dry and safe!The work is spot on and I definitely will not hesitate to recommend to my friends and anyone else who wants good professional workmanship. It is wonderful to hire someone whotakes pride in their work.

    Mike Van Ness is knowledgeable, professional and honest. That may seem cliche, but in my experience, its becoming less and less common. I expected him to come for a service call just to assess the problems with my HVAC system then follow up with a bid to correct the issues. However, he was able to assess and correct the primary issues during the service call without the need for an additional visit and, more importantly for me, no additional cost. Hes my HVAC guy from now on. I would highly recommend Van Ness Heating & Air without reservation.

    We called Van Ness for a second opinion after being told we needed a whole new furnace.Van Ness determined the source of the problem was a minor electrical issue, and helped us avoid having to pay for a new system that was not needed. We appreciated Michael taking the extra steps to find the source of the problem rather than trying to sale us a new system.Van Ness now has a new customer for life, would recommend them for their knowledge and upfront approach.

    After being quoted an astronomical amount to replace a condenser, we started calling around. Van Ness Heating & Air was fast to respond, came out quickly to assess the unit, and gave us a much more reasonable quote. We are very happy with the service provided. Beyond that, Michael actually spoke to me and not just to my husband which is unfortunately a big deal to me since it is so rare. Michael is beyond professional and I would recommend him to anyone.

    Mike Van Ness is amazing and always does an incredibly thorough job! Today he rescued my 17-year-old AC system. He was at my house within 20 minutes of my call!     In the middle of this hot July summer one of our two a/c units died. After trying to simply get someone to come check out what the problem might be from a couple of other companies, without dealing with high-pressure sales quotes, we called Michael. He came out and quickly found our unit would need to be replaced. He gave us several quotes on several options, all WITHOUT any pressure at all. He even suggested my wife and I discuss it, after he left, to make any decisions. We were so impressed with Michaels expertise, courtesy, and professionalism, that we chose not only to replace the one unit, but both (20 yrs old)!Its never fun having to replace expensive, but necessary, home appliances. But I can say without any regrets that the Van Ness company made the process quite easy and practically stress-free. They started the job one morning and by early that same afternoon were completely finished. Thank you Michael for your and your companys efficient, honest, and professional work.     Once again, Michael is great to work with. I contacted Michael late Monday afternoon about our clogged condensate line for our unit in the attic. Condensate water was filling our drain plan and service was needed quickly. By Tuesday afternoon, he was out and performed the work to clear the lines. All done in less than 24 hours. I called this company the next morning thinking hopefully we get a technician out in a day or so. They gave me an appointment with an estimated time of 2 to 4 hours. Michael the technician was at our home while we were traveling to get there. I had a knocking noise from my Heating/AC overflow drain pipe and Michael diagnosis and fix the problems and the noise is gone and my unit is running smoothly.
