I have used Trusted Heating and Cooling on two houses now. I do not have enough great things to say about them. Recently, our system quit during the Christmas holiday. I called and someone was sent out the very same day. Unfortunately, there were parts needed that had to be ordered so, someone had to come out again once the parts came in. John, the senior technician, came out and is not only extremely professional and courteous but very knowledgeable. He was able to fix our system just in time before a major cold front and ice storm. I highly recommend John, Demetri (came out the first visit) and the office staff at Trusted. Not only do I recommend them, I refuse to even consider using a different HVAC company for service or sales. I’m a repeat customer of 9 years (2 different homes) and look forward to working with them again in the future.

Ive had two great experiences with Trusted Heating & Cooling now so time to write a review. This past summer Trusteds bid on a new mini-split was more than competitive with one of the larger Austin HVAC companies. The installation went smoothly & it looks & functions fantastic to keep my arcade garage comfortable. Then this past week they helped out again with multiple repairs on the 4-ton Lennox unit servicing the downstairs area. Demetri was awesome & patient, answering my questions & explaining why it had failed. What a great guy. Turns out not only did we have an electrical calamity that had fried the control board & blower motor, but there had also been a slow leak in the coil for quite some time prior that we didnt even know about. Thanks & well sleep better tonight.

You know…rarely when we come across situations these days that make us feel like there is still hope in humanity.I had an AC problem, I wasn’t around so my girlfriend called someone, they showed up and within 5 mins they said the motor needs to be replaced. $1100. For that much, naturally I told her let’s get another quote and called these guys, the gentleman arrived on time, diagnosed the issue and promptly told us the motor is fine it was just obstructed by something which of course turned out to be much less than the previous guy’s $1100! You guys have a customer for life!!!! Thank you so much for your honesty.

I had my entire heating and cooling system replaced and the folks at Trusted Heating and Cooling are amazing. They are patient and take the time to answer all your questions. I appreciated the detailed list Ben provided me about all the work from the big points to the little details that make a real difference (like sealing all the duct work). I was able to use the detailed list from Ben to ask specific questions to other companies who either didnt respond or wanted to up-charge me for that work. The detail showed that Trusted cared and understand that an new system is not something you just throw together and hope it works, but something that is important to making my home comfortable. The attention to detail that the crew paid to every little thing they did was amazing. You could tell they were taking the time to understand how my house worked, beyond just airflow, but how I use the spaces. Even though I could tell it made things more complex to install, all they would say is that this is important and they wanted to make sure it worked for how my home was used.I am glad I found Trusted and will continue to use them for all my heating and cooling needs in the future.Dimitri did a great job with the annual cleaning keeping my system running great.

4 years with Trusted Heating and Cooling. Got new heat and ac from them. Getting quotes was simple. Installation took 1.5 days. No hidden fees what was quoted is what we paid for.Maintenance is also simple, they send out text reminder and I call them to schedule. They email reminder they day before and another email when they on their way. Really liked that the email includes name of the technician.They also provide emergency repair, they came over same day when I had a problem. Easy fix and price is fair.I recommend signing up for annual maintenance plan so if you have emergency, they make you priority over new customers.Also want to point out that most new ac/heat unit manufacturer warranties need annual maintenance by licensed technicians. So make sure you dont skip maintenance.

Called first thing and spoke to an awesome customer service representative. She had a technician scheduled to come out around lunch the same day.Technician, Cooper, arrived. He immediately diagnosed the problem, explained the issues, and developed a plan to fix it. Documented everything with photos and detailed explanation. The process was very thorough and transparent. Cooper went out of his way to provide an excellent level of service and made sure the issue was completely resolved before leaving.It’s so difficult to find a trustworthy company, especially when it’s urgent. I will definitely use Trusted again. Cooper was awesome!

I have been using the services of Trusted Heating and Cooling for about two years now and I’m very happy with their service. They were recommended by a friend when I asked for a recommendation for a company that I could simply just trust to be honest.Through their maintenance agreement program, they have been checking my unit twice a year and made small adjustments when necessary.With this extreme heat that we are having currently, my AC was struggling and I called for a checkup. The technician who was here, Mason, did an awesome job, not only advising me of his new arrival time when he was delayed by his previous house call, but also by explaining to me what he was checking and what his findings were (photos, tests results on a screen) …It turned out we simply needed to add some refrigerant and the AC is running much more efficiently now.I appreciated also that Mason also reached out to his boss for further advice when needed.I recommend this company 200% for trustworthiness and transparency.

We had our heater system serviced (annual checkup) approximately a week ago by Demetri from Trusted Heating & Cooling (THC). Demetri showed very good pride and professionalism throughout his entire visit at my home. He was respectful to my home wearing bootie covers whenever he entered and he knocked every time even though I told him that he was free to just come in to do his work as needed. We had a couple of issues that he was able to quickly diagnose and repair with approval from me. After all repairs were conducted we did see an improvement in our unit. THC may not be the cheapest and they are definitely not the most expensive, but in my opinion you get what you pay for! With this company and a service tech such as Demetri which has good knowledge and pride in their work, they can’t come recommend enough. I most definitely recommend THC and if you are lucky you can get Demetri as your tech!

Weve been using them for a few years now and we consistently receive top-notch service no matter who comes to do inspections or repairs.I was recently reminded why I continue to choose them for needs. One of our AC units went out around 7pm at night (mid-August) and after I requested a callback, Robert Cooper called me nearly immediately. While he wasnt dispatch or part of scheduling, he offered to help try to solve the issue over the phone before someone could get out there next day. Needless to say, he was very patient, gave great information, and helped me learn more about ACs in that short call than I had ever known before. We had signed up for the annual maintenance plan after Trusted moved our HVAC into the attic last year - they did a fantastic job, we are Lifetime customers and would never go anywhere else!When the Technician (Mason) arrived to perform summer maintenance service, he quickly went to work in the attic, despite the over 105° temperatures. Mason replaced the high-performance air filter and adjusted our duct work for better airflow. He gave a detailed description and even took a photo of one small issue which we decided to have fixed. My AC started acting up at 4:00am. I called Trusted Heating and Cooling shortly after I noticed it was acting up, and they promptly answered the phone for their emergency service. They even called me back a few minutes after we hung up to try to virtually troubleshoot the issue. Someone took the time to talk to me on the phone from 4:30-4:45am to help me troubleshoot! That’s amazing customer service.Since my system was still running, jut not smoothly, I decided it wasn’t urgent and could wait for regular business hours. They called me by 8:30am that same morning and were at my house and fixed the issue that afternoon.Being without AC is not an option in TX summer heat. Having an AC company that is available 24/7 and that responds quickly is invaluable.

Updated three years later: Have been on service plan for both winter and summer maintenance. Service appointments are easy to schedule, and sometimes offered an earlier time slot if they become available. Office communication is responsive and prompt. Most importantly, the technician is both knowledgeable and friendly, always offer tips on how to minimize common issues, as well as provides multiple options.Totally understand why Trusted Heating and Cooling gets so many five star reviews after my personal experience.Each of the interaction between initial troubleshooting, pre-install assessment, and final setup were professional, courteous, and friendly. The install team worked non stop for more than eight hours, until everything was fully tested. They were also kind enough to answer all questions, as well as provide hands on overview of the new system functionality. Both exterior compressor coil, as well as internal furnace were mounted with precision and care, including sheet metal mounts. I am also told they do a complete coolant flush to ensure previous system coolant residue are completely removed from the pipes.In addition, Trusted Heating and Cooling also got my broken A/C working while we waited for install. This is the second time James and his crew from Trusted have come out to help me and I could not be happier with their service and expertise! The first time was when a we had ceiling fall in from a leaking HVAC unit installed in the attic, and James came right over, figured out the issue, got us to a stable point and came back the next day and fixed the system. He was prompt, courteous, extremely knowledgeable, and professional.While he was here I asked him to look at two non-working split ac units to give me a recommendation on what to do about them. One was very old and needed replacement, and James sent me quotes for a couple of different install options that were very reasonable. The other was only a couple of years old but hadn’t worked properly since it was installed (by someone else). James scheduled service and personally took it apart and found the leak. He explained what was wrong and what needed to be done very clearly, and had his crew take care of it while they were installing the new unit.I previously two other companies to install and service our HVAC systems, and I so wish I had known about Trusted then. We would have saved a lot of money, time, and damage to our property had we had James and his crew out in the first place. At least we know now and we will only have them work on our systems in the future.

One of the hottest summers on record in Texas and our eight-year old A/C unit decides to fail us three times in a mere couple of months. When your house feels like an oversized toaster oven, time is of essence. Given that it is high season, HVAC companies are in high demand and thus your choices are very limited with regards to availability. The first couple of times we used two different companies who, despite excellent online reviews, left a bad taste in our mouths because of dishonest business practices. When our system started blowing hot air again for the third time in eight weeks, we were not only frustrated, but had also grown very leery of dealing with yet another HVAC company. This time we decided to give Trusted Heating and Cooling a try and boy, are we glad that we did. From the initial service call to the leak check and on to the replacement of our evaporator coil, we were provided with excellent customer service. All technicians- Robert, John, Efron and his partner (sorry, we didn’t catch his name) were very friendly, knowledgeable, informative and transparent in all of their dealings. They documented all their work and took photographs along the way.Today we were scheduled to receive our new evaporator coil. The technicians arrived nearly an hour before their scheduled time (we did receive advanced notification) and wow, if I had to describe the perfect customer service experience, this would have to be it! Efron and his partner went above and beyond in their customer service. These guys did not put on a show- they were genuinely friendly young gentlemen with positive attitudes. They worked very diligently to get us up and running as quickly as possible and kept us informed along the way. As soon as they arrived, they laid out protective blankets all the way from the front door to the interior attic access. After three hours of working in an extremely hot attic, they continued to display great attitudes. Upon finishing the repair, they carefully picked up behind them and to our huge surprise, pulled out a vacuum cleaner and started cleaning our floors! Really? In my entire life, I have never experienced such exquisite customer service. Wow! Lastly, a big shoutout to Christina in the office for quickly working us into a demanding summer schedule and for going above and beyond in providing us with extremely fair and competitive pricing. Recently, I requested quotes from several HVAC installers. Trusted submitted the Manual J calculation and expanded performance tables for their proposed equipment installation. Most installers refused to prepare the required load calculations. His installers work directly for Trusted, while others subcontract out the installation work. They installed return air vents in all the bedrooms, condensation drain lines to meet current code requirements.I selected Trusted for their technical knowledge and professionalism. I received cheaper quotes than Trusted, but I felt the lower priced installers lacked technical knowledge or planned to subcontract the installation. You really do get what you pay for. I evaluated several highly rated local HVAC contractors (Green Leaf, Honest AC, and Trusted) and ultimately chose Trusted for the following reasons:1) Honesty and integrity. Other contractors were promising that Id be saving $60+ on my monthly electricity bill to justify the costs of a new system. That sounds great and all, but they werent really being honest. My home is already very efficient (new windows, proper ventilation/insulation, etc.), so when I spoke with Alex in our initial consultation he told me flat out that I should not be expecting more than $10-15 monthly savings on my electric bill and should instead make a decision based on my desired comfort level. I appreciate this type of honestly because it allows me to make a more informed decision based on other factors such as comfort and air quality, rather than focusing on a false narrative around how soon my investment will pay itself off.2) Customer service. Trusted staff were extremely responsive to my questions, very knowledgable in general, and up-front and honest about what I could expect by upgrading my HVAC system. Other contracts were slow to respond to my questions (if they responded at all) and gave me conflicting information about costs, services, and part compatibility. Trusteds front-desk personnel were able to answer just about all of my questions, whereas other companies couldnt answer even basic questions and instead said theyd have a technician call back -- and in many cases they never did. I dont expect front-desk folks to get deep into technical details, but they should certainly be able to answer basic questions about warranties, maintenance plans, and certifications. Every member of the Trusted staff appears to be extremely well-versed in HVAC technologies, and when they arent they are sure to escalate and get back to customers in a very short timeframe to resolve open questions. Additionally, Trusted takes care of product registration and rebate paperwork for you, which is great because Im quite busy and that frees me up to focus on more important things.3) Cost. Compared to others, they were not trying to up-sell me on anything. I was given a detailed breakdown of what needed to be replaced and why, as well as why some existing parts could be reused without issue while others couldnt. Other companies wanted to replace EVERYTHING without providing any such justification, and that naturally led to unnecessary increased costs. Trusted also did not nickel-and-dime me to death as their installation quote included all the necessary work and parts. Other contractors were wanting to charge a lot extra for things such as cleaning/replacing drain lines and fabricating new supply and return plenums. Overall they werent the least expensive, but the difference between their quote and the lowest I got was only a couple of hundred dollars. Their installation package also includes a 3-year maintenance plan which none of the others offered without additional costs, so in reality Trusted provided the best overall value.4) Knowledge, accreditations, and credibility. I learned quite a bit from my conversations with Alex and their installation technicians. They are extremely knowledgeable and thorough, and they go out of their way to explain things in laymans terms. Im also impressed with the number of accreditations they have when compared to others (NATE/BPI certified, owner sits on local ACCA & RSES boards) as that gives me even more confidence that they know what they are doing and are actively engaged in the community.5) Highly rated. I tend not to put too much stock in reviews, but I must admit that I could not find any negative reviews about Trusted that established any sort of pattern of bad customer service or practices. When looking at negative reviews from other companies it wasnt very hard to find themes around bad customer service, price gouging, etc.That said, Im in the process of getting my installation done and Ill gladly post an update after some time has passed to talk more about our ongoing relationship.

This is the third HVAC system in my house and its great - mostly because of the extra care the Trusted team took when installing it. The first system was installed when the house was built. It worked OK, but it was noisy and didnt last too long. The second one lasted but was still noisy and no matter what I did the far side of my house wouldnt cool or heat well - I even had extra ducts added. The problem as the Trusted team pointed out was that the prior installers werent careful and let the ducts kink. So no matter what, I wasnt going to get much air flow to the far side of my house. The Trusted team straightened out the kinks, properly supported the ducts so the kinks wouldnt return, and that little extra care and attention to detail made all the difference in the world. Now my whole house is far more comfortable than it has ever been. Anyone can slap a unit in your attic, but not everyone takes the extra time to make sure it is done right!To solve my noise issues the Trusted team recommended I upgrade to variable speed equipment. That was a fantastic recommendation and most of the time the new system operates at a very low speed and I cant even hear it. In contrast, when I talked to other vendors about variable speed systems they werent interested and just brushed it off with you dont want that stuff. The Trusted team listened and recommended the right thing for me, not the easy thing for them.One final comment, and this is a really big deal. During installation we had to be out of town for a family emergency. We were so comfortable with the Trusted team that we just handed them a key to the house and said see you when we get back. So for many reasons I think Trusted is the perfect name for their company.

I cant believe its taken me so long to post this review! This company was fantastic.James came out on the evening of July 3rd after our AC completely died late in the afternoon. He evaluated the state of our equipment and tried everything he could to fix the existing system. He sat down and explained what had gone wrong and what our repair options were. However when you have a 15 year old system with a complete compressor failure it wasnt worth the repair. He had estimates with multiple systems that met our specifications in our hands that night and was very patient with us over the next couple of days as we explored competing bids and made our decision, answering or responding to our calls despite the holiday. We explored options from Home Depot, Lowes, as well as a couple of other independent heating & AC companies. In the end it wasnt only James service that we found was the best, it was his prices. He was able to get us a a very nice 16 SEER Lennox system for less than some of the others were quoting for a 13 seer Goodman/Amana unit. He also put the money he had charged for his original diagnostic visit towards the cost of the new system.James showed up to install the outside compressor and inside air handler units on Sunday of the holiday weekend and he and his crew were very careful to lay down cloth from the door to the mechanical closet to keep our house clean and also made sure to keep the door shut to prevent our cat from running outside. We were also replacing a broken ceiling fan that day and James took a break from installing the AC unit to hold the fan up for us while my husband made the final connections.They redid all of the insulation, reconnected the duct work from scratch, sealed and recaulked even the joints and connections that werent strictly required. He even redid the condensate drain line which was in rough shape. We recently got an Austin energy audit and the auditor actually exclaimed out loud and told us that the brand new metal flashing he had installed across the floor of the mechanical closet was awesome and nobody does that.He got the AC up and running Sunday but had to return on Monday to finish the heating part of the system because a part he needed hadnt been available over the weekend. He was again timely, careful and responsive to questions. His installation includes a year of routine service to make sure things are running smoothly.We delightedly, unreservedly, and confidently recommend him to anyone.

Mr. James Poole (who has a lot of patience) installed a Solar attic fan. I set thermostat at 80°. Though out the summer the temperature in the house remained at a comfortable 78°. He also installed an Air purifying system. This is the first time I did not have to have multiple portable air purifiers running during allergy season. Their annual maintenance is very thorough. Provide a check off list, as well as photos of the work they did. Wonderful and friendly staff, especially the always cheerful receptionist, Christine.

What can I say about this incredible company that hasnt already. They were extremely professional, helpful, and knowledgable about their craft. The lady who answered the phone let me know to run my AC and to turn it on off to dethaw it in case it was frozen, they had a technician out the same day who was so helpful in explaining my system to me. There are a lot of questionable AC companies out there, and its so refreshing to know there is an amazing one like this you can count on to do the job right for a very fair price. The owner James is a 3rd generation AC repairman, so it runs in their blood to give excellent service with a knowledgable staff. I have utilized Trusted Heating and Cooling for years. Originally they were purely servicing older units of mine and then when I moved we had them replace two units in our new home. They stepped us through different options, were open and transparent about pros and cons along with pricing. It’s crazy to be excited about an HVAC unit but I can honestly say I am. I couldn’t recommend Trusted any more highly. They have continued to exceed our expectations and will continue to have our business.
