    Requested help from TPAC&H for my mini-split heat pump... Alex was great! He quickly diagnosed my issue (unfortunately a leak in my coils) and then pivoted to answering my questions about getting a new unit. He gave me a lot of good information to consider. I havent selected anyone yet to conduct the replacement work (waiting on a couple of other bids), but based on Alexs work these guys are at the top of my list!

    This was my first time using Texas Pride and I was so impressed with Gages work and customer service! He was extremely thorough, honest and had no issues answering any questions I had.     This is an amazing company. Reliable, honest, quality work, and they do what they say they are going to do (sounds simple but is really not that common). We had them replace our furnace years ago and it’s been working great, everything was seamless. We recently had an issue with our AC unit and Cory went above and beyond to help us and resolve the issue.     Delighted to make an appointment with Texas Pride HVAC on the referral of a friend for the first time. They fixed up his house in the wake of two previous hurricanes.We have a master bedroom with a 12’ ceiling and only two A/C registers high on one wall. The air does not circulate well. There are 3 exposed exterior walls on this first floor. The room is often too hot or cold depending upon the season.Texas Pride sent a NATE certified technician “Alex” to evaluate the room. Alex was at our house for at least 3 hours. He measured the airflow coming from every register in the house. Did diagnostic tests of both units outside the house. Freon levels good, and no leaks. Alex inspected all of our ducts that are accessible via attics. Showed Alex our new upstairs furnace installed by another firm. Found condensation making a mess in the closet where it is. This was the result of bad workmanship by the other firm. They cut corners on insulating the copper pipes. Alex replaced that and installed new thick foam insulation and wrapped that in tape. He also sealed leaks in the unit’s seams with that tape.Big deal was that we had a window condensation and humidity problem inside the house. Alex looked at our new Bryant HVAC controller and found the fan was set to run 24/7 on Medium. Alex changed the setting to Auto and the windows cleared up and interior humidity level quickly corrected. More comfortable now and will lower the electric bill.We determined that the only best way to fix the air environment in the master bedroom is to install a Mini Split, which is a system dedicated to one room.We were impressed by Alex’s knowledge and his work style. He was focused on solving each issue we had and did it.Give Texas Pride a call for your residential and commercial properties. Ask for Alex.     Gage and his team installed a new hvac system. They were on time, courteous and completed the install in a timely manner. This was my first time using this company for HVAC and they will be my go to HVAC company going forward. They came out to inspect and diagnose the issue and sent a detailed estimate within 48 hours. After the estimate was approved the installation was scheduled in a timely manner. Overall the process was smooth and transparent, and it’s obvious they take pride in their work.

    Recently, my AC required a warranty repair.Kenny. the Service Mgr., was very accommodating and immediately ordered the part. Kenny updated me on the parts availability and upon arrival dispatched Geoff to install it. Likewise, Geoff notified me of his arrival. He was punctual and professional. And in approx. 30 mins Geoff got my AC running again in no time. Another company quoted me that the repair will take 3 hours! Texas Pride performed a very detailed inspection, providing details in terms that made sense to me so that I could understand what items need to be done to correct the issues. And, they communicated with empathy for my circumstances. Their quote was reasonable and realistic. Moreover, they completed the job under quote. Each team member was professional and courteous.     I cannot express how happy I am to have found Texas Pride air conditioning and heating! I was with one local AC and heating company since 2016 but unfortunately I did not have a great experience with one of their technicians so it was time to part ways. I was so stressed out with trying to research reputable trustworthy companies that werent going to take advantage of my situation of needing a new AC unit. I set up some estimates with a couple of companies and just did not feel comfortable with anyone or with what they were trying to offer until I found Texas Pride. Corey and Geoff came by to do a very thorough assessment of my AC needs took measurements of my home, did a walk through etc. Afterwards we all sat down (even my puppy joined the discussion) and they explained everything to a T, provided me with different options and answered all of my questions. They were very respectful, kind and patient. I appreciated that they treated me as a person and not a sale. They even treated my puppy with such sweetness and kindness. Its really hard to find that intimate customer service care nowadays when everyone is so busy and stressed out. Texas pride is that type of business that makes you feel like part of the family. Needless to say, I went through with purchasing my new AC unit with them. Kenny and Corey were very attentive and reached out to see when the installation would work with my busy schedule. These men had such patience with me! sometimes its hard to get me on the phone due to my job but they were caring enough to send gentle reminders since this heat wave was coming! Not too many businesses are going to do that! Bethanie contacted me to provide information on financing and she was a gem as well. Gage and his team were there right on time for installation day. They were very respectful of my home Did not wreck it or mess anything up! They worked efficiently and diligently. Once it was all said and done, we wrapped up with some questions that I had and I am now happy with my new AC unit ready for this summer! Thank you very much, Texas Pride!     Delighted that my initial call was not sent to voicemail on a Sunday afternoon. My technician, Trae cane first thing the next morning. Really liked that I was sent a link to track his route to my home, plus a text with his info and a pic.     Appreciate how fast they came to service my ac unit for a clogged drain line. A minor mistake was made which cause the condensation line to leak into my ceiling fan but it happened fast enough that the repairman could return ASAP to fix the issue.

    Update 6/19/23: I received a call from Wesley the manager and he was very apologetic and corrected this situation. Mistakes happen but he took ownership of it and made it right. This demonstrates integrity on all levels and restored my confidence in doing business with the company. As a homeowner honest and reliable companies are important to the maintenance of your home. I am very pleased with the outcome and will continue to be a customer.I used this company for maintenance of a system installed in 2018. A part needed to be replaced. At first he said the part wasnt covered despite the paperwork saying all parts and then he said Trane doesnt transfer warranties after selling the home which is a lie. The person who serviced my unit signed my name on the invoice saying I checked the work and agree with the estimate. I was never given an upfront price when I asked over the phone and in person I was given a ball park price but nothing in writing. I also didnt inspect anything as the part was an internal competent. So I was shocked to see my signature was forged when I asked for a receipt, which was emailed to me after he left. The receipt was not itemized so I didnt know what I was being charged for. All of this made me feel uneasy and like I was being take advantage of. This situation taught me how to handle thes hiring someone in the future but due to my overall experience I do not recommend.

    Kenny and his team were excellent! I am the type of person who likes to do as much of my home related renovations/installations in order to make sure the job is done right. However, some jobs are out of my league. When I first met Kenny he was very knowledgeable and assured me that he would treat my house as if it were his own. They replaced everything upstairs in our attic which included the furnace, evaporator coil, installed new secondary return air, reworked all connections, and positioned components where they could be easily serviceable, and installed all new duct work. Their price was very fair, especially for the amount of work and quality of product and installation delivered. They were very professional, clean, quick, and efficient. Kenny answered all my questions and addressed any issues that we had discussed. I would highly recommend Texas Pride AC & Heating for any AC & heating related needs.

    I have done business with Texas Pride Air Conditioning and Heating for over 30 years! I have used them all this time on my personal home. When handling properties that required me getting competitive bids, I would call Texas Pride to be one of the bidders. When other companies blew smoke and claimed a lot of work was needed which meant a high price. Texas Pride would come in and give me a true picture of exactly what had to be done for the unit to be in good working order and always saved the owner money! That is still true to this day. I always feel confident when I recommend them to other people!! They are the best!! Just good people....honest and professional at all times!!!!!

    Im 63 years old and dont do many of these reviews. When our A/C went out, we had 6 companies come out to give us a bid. We picked Wes with Texas Pride. We found him to be honest and direct with the bid. No smoke and mirrors games with the price. Wes only replaced the necessary equipment to get the system up and running. When they installed our unit they took special care of our home and property. We still have some other a/c projects to be done when the weather cools down and we will be using Wes and Texas Pride.

    Highly recommended.. I’ve dealt with many AC/ Heating companies over the years. You get a hit or miss sometimes and this time I got lucky and will definitely keep Texas Pride Air conditioning as my primary contact and on my recommended list in the future. Very honest, efficient and great at what they do.. I recently had to get a second opinion on a heating unit where one company indicated the whole heating system needed to be replaced. I called Texas Pride AC and Kenny responded immediately and came to the rescue. He diagnosed the root issue and got the heating element and part replaced within a day and saved my client $15,000 which was quoted by another AC company. Got the heat working again and cost including labor was under $598. Very grateful for Kenny Skrove and his team. They will be on my highly recommended list from now on.

    We thought our AC wasnt working correctly and called Texas Pride for our annual maintenance. Certain rooms were either too warm or too cold. The unit was working fine, but our dampers were not opening and closing correctly. They replaced the dampers promptly and professionally. We always recommend Texas Pride. Kenny, Grover, Geoffrey, and Bethany are always very helpful and honest!

    I could write a book about trying to find an AC repair company that we could trust and were confident in their knowledge. A friendly voice called to set up our appointment which was sooner than I was expecting. I apologize for not remembering her name but she was pleasant and helpful. Our technician, Geoffrey was very courteous, polite and knowledgeable. Price was very fair. It’s not often I’d feel confident recommending a company to someone but I would not hesitate to suggest Texas Pride to anyone. They are doing something other companies should take lessons from.

    Upset with other folks, I tried Texas Pride twice this year. I like that they charge by the hour so you dont end up feeling stupid paying $1,000 plus parts for two hours work. So, first time they beat the other two outfits by at least $500. Second time on Monday Steve came out to fix the heater. He replaced the computer board but then on the weekend the AC wouldnt work. I called Jack, the owner, and in two hours Steve was back, fixing it, no charge. Texas Pride is my new Go-To AC repair place. I recommend them!

    Kenny with Texas Pride AC & Heating came out today to fix my air conditioner. He was very professional and didn’t add on extra expenses. When he looked at my AC unit he said the original installer did not wire it right which kept my compressor running 24-7 even when I turned the air conditioner off indoors. I plan on using them again if I have any other problems that may come up. I highly recommend them they are honest and do an impeccable job!

    We lost our electricity for over 30 hours during Storm Uri and when it came back on our heater wouldnt work. They came out the same day (Tuesday) and were not able to fix it at that moment because it needed a new motor, as soon as they were able to obtain one they were right back out here first thing and got it working. The heats been on for 20 minutes and Im posting this while the tech is still here making sure its working. They are so kind and professional and understood we needed help and have been right here to help out my family. We thank them so much for everything they did for us.     Our unit stopped blowing cold air one evening and I called Texas Pride that night and they were able to come out the next day. Kenny, the lead tech, had great knowledge of HVAC and was able to figure out the issue, apparently a pretty rare one, quickly and got to work on the solution. Im very pleased with Kennys attention to detail and knowledge. He explained in detail the steps he was taking to diagnose issues throughout, and also the steps and costs associated with the solutions so you had a rough estimate throughout the process. Ive been surprised by costs after some minor HVAC work before, so it was nice to know throughout the process what the work and parts would cost me.Texas Pride is now my go to HVAC provider and Id recommend them to anyone.
