    I have to recognize Mr. Miguel Jacobo and Mr. Rigo for really going out of their way to make sure that I was taken care of the day before Thanksgiving Day. They went above and beyond to make sure that not only my incorrect wiring that had fried, and could have potentially caused a fire get addressed, but they did it on a same day request! It was awesome to see that they had the human side to business and didn’t want to leave us with partial power in the house, on top of correcting a dangerous situation in the home we had just purchased. Rigo stayed late and got it all corrected! As a result, we had a great first Thanksgiving Day in our new home, and were thankful to Superior Star! I highly recommend their service!

    We recently had the pleasure of purchasing a new A/C unit from Superior star AC and heating in Poteet. Although we were not in the market to make a new purchase, the home warranty company (Choice Home Warranty) was insistent on requesting additional proof of damaged parts and work needed to repair our old unit. Meanwhile we were suffering through the excessive heat for 4 weeks. We finally decided to ask for information on a new unit. Miguel at Superior star A/C and heating was very accommodating and thanks to Miguel and one of his techs we were able to make a decision on what we wanted. We are very impressed and highly appreciative of the techs who took care of getting our unit installed, as it took several days and a couple of late nights to complete. As it turns out our unit being at least 15 years old, had many hidden problems, including wiring and duct work, among others. This made the new install very labor intensive. Some of the work done, was not part of their process, however, they made sure to conduct all that was necessary in order to complete the new install. These gentlemen were not only efficient, but they also possess a strong work ethic. We highly recommend this business, if not only for their responsiveness, but also for their promptness and reliability. Kudos to Andy Hernandez not only for all the hard work, ensuring that the system was working properly but also for making sure that we understood how to manage our new thermostat.     Called Superior Star A/C at 5pm on a Saturday evening. Technician Rigo arrived within an hour. Rigo replaced the fan motor, capacitor, cleaned the condenser coils and flushed the drain line inside the home. Rigo completed the job at 10pm. You rarely see a service company arrive promptly on such short notice and perform an outstanding job, especially after hours. Highly recommend Superior Star A/C. They will be my new A/C service company going forward. Great job Rigo!

    Miguel and his team are awesome. He lives over an hour away and has driven out multiple times to take care of emergencies as well as completely replacing our old ducts and putting insulation in our attic, all of the highest quality. Miguel is super responsive and very detailed in his work and when he gives you a quote he wont charge a penny more.. He is the ultimate professional. I highly recommend Superior Star, they are very fairly priced and they will go above and beyond to make sure you are happy.     Miguel and John were very knowledgeable and professional. We had one room in our house that was not receiving cold air from our central unit. Sent a notice to Superior Air, which Miguel responded quickly. Miguel came out the early the next day to take an evaluation of our problem. He gave us three options to choose from. He was not pushy about what we should select, he gave us the information and let us decide. Miguel made an appointment with us for the very next day in the morning to make the repair. The problem has since been fixed and Miguel’s service was over and beyond. The room is now the coldest room in our house. The way I look at it, instead of buying a window unit for this one room, and adding a continuous expense to our electric bill we decided to fix the duct. Which Is a great investment considering how hot the weather gets here, we will gladly use his services in the future for all our A/C & Heating issues. Highly recommend.     Miguel was excellent, came out late night on an emergency and was way cheaper than any other company wanting to come out so late. Friendly, and quick.     Miguel made emergency stop at our house. Capacitor went out and he had one on hand but above that he checked refrigerant than added more since low. Great service and great first time impression. Our compressor died on our 4 year old Lennox unit; Miguel opened a claim with Lennox on our behalf to have the compressor shipped to replace.     Our family’s Central A/C went out on Thursday, July 2, 2020. We all know how hot it can be this time of the year and the A/C was not cooling the house whatsoever. We made multiple calls to other local businesses and no one would come out because of the holiday weekend. We tried a business that was new to us, Superior Star A/C and Heating. The gentleman said he would come by to do a diagnostic right away. Miguel and John arrived and both gentlemen were very professional, kind and courteous. After finding the problem with the A/C, Miguel worked with us to find a solution at a very reasonable price. Miguel said they couldn’t fix it until the next day and he would charge the A/C with Freon to keep the house cool for the night. They next day Miguel and John arrived on time and fixed the A/C.     Miguel and his staff are very professional, reliable, and prompt! I was so worried my dog and I were going to have to sleep in a hot house at night when my unit went out at 8pm. I immediately thought I was not going to be able to get someone to come look at it till morning, I googled and came across Superior Star AC & Heating. I called and they were here within 30 minutes!     Miguel and his workers are the best, after having a horrible time with my home warrantee company and having both my ac’s go out on me. Miguel and his people came over less than 3 hours after calling them and stayed till they repaired both ac’s in my house. I was ready for it to take a couple of days to repair but nope! I’m a disabled vet and have a special needs child I am so super happy with the results and highly recommend them! I really can’t say enough good things about him or his people!     Words cannot explain how pleased we are with Miguel and his employees. Friendly, professional and honest. We had an issue with our 13 year old system that we had been doing patch jobs on for a while now. Miguel came out and evaluated and gave us all the options to repair the system. Past HVAC companies immediately went to a sale of a new unit. Not Miguel. He explained patiently what each option would cost, the risks and benefits of each option and NEVER tried to push or up sell us. In the end, we weighed those options and chose on our own to replace the unit. He didnt gouge us on price or try to add additional things either. We paid less for a more energy efficient unit than we did for our old one 13 years ago. He even threw in a couple little extras as well.To speak to his character, even though he as the owner could have done the install himself, he gave it to his guys to install as this is the slow season for them and he wanted to keep them working. He still came out before and after the job to quality check their work and followed up with a phone call a couple days later to insure all was good to go.I dont tend to write many reviews for companies that do what is expected of them. We pay for a service or product and when they deliver, ther eis no reason to say they did what they promised. I wrote this as they went above and beyond and Miguel really takes care of his employees. A rare commodity these days.Miguel, thank you for being one of the good guys. you earned a customer for life.

    We contracted Superior Star AC/Heating after our condensing unit burned within a year of it being installed. We hired ( Cold-Tek AC/Heating) in Dec of 2018, they over sized by 1.5 ton and pinched the copper line inside the air handler which caused the unit to burn. We decided to hire a dependable and reliable contractor after having a bad experience. It’s very hard to trust and find another contractor after dealing with a bad one. After looking thru referrals and reviews we decided to go with Superior Star AC/Heating they guided us thru the installment and provided the best price. Miguel and his team did a great job!
