    Such great service by this company! We had a very dirty dryer duct and Cole came out and gave us an estimate for that, along with duct cleaning, which we decided to do the return air vents. They also installed an air purification system at our request. Not pushy at all, just knowledgeable, and fixed several other items that we didn’t realize were an issue.Overall, cannot recommend them enough! Ended up being a two day job and they were on time, friendly, and efficient. Couldn’t ask for more. I’m so happy we found a company we can rely on.

    I have used Sudden Service for about 15 years or longer. I had a new complete AC heat pump system put in by them that works amazingly better than the old system. I’ve had new insulation added to my attic. And I’ve had repairs done. They have always done superior work. They are professional friendly. I highly recommend them, and will continue using them for many years to come.

    Had yearly maintenance completed as always twice per year for summer new hire came out and gauge was not working correctly so had another technician come out the following week since we were out on vacation. We had set Friday from 1-3 pm which I don’t mind but really wanted mornings, around 10 am I receive a call from Courtney if o was home so Shawn could come out and make sure everything was intact. Shawn was about 5-10 min drive arrived and checked everything and everything was great. Shawn loves dogs and small talked and he was done within 10-15 minutes which worked perfectly for me especially on a busy Friday. This company is great check them out they all so kind

    **Update to my review after I spoke with owner Mike and staff.**Sudden service originally came out to review a moldy smell coming from my unit. I have been dealing with this problem since it was installed by Tempo Air.This company sent out their first technician Richard who seemed very knowledgeable about HVAC systems and suggested I install a UV light as the smell came back from previous services in the past from Tempo.As mentioned in my previous review, while I was glad to try something different, Richard didnt try inspecting inside of the coils or ductwork for any mold or bacteria growth.I called in about my review and concerns and Mike had another technician, Sean (his son) come and do an inspection as well as clean the coils to ensure effectiveness of original installation.During the install, he also walked me through how the ductwork was setup (Tempo essentially screwed me) and gave me several tips and advice to ensure longevity of my unit. Im very pleased with the professionalism and level of service from this company.Cross my fingers the smell doesnt come back 🤞🏾🤞🏾

    My brother recommended Richard with Sudden Service and we couldn’t be more impressed. Richard knows his stuff regarding all things HVAC and Air Quality. He came out to test our air quality first, then we had him come back out to test our unit and run a diagnostic on it since we had a very faint & randomly occurring burning smell.Richard was able to locate the culprit and get it fixed quickly. He was also able to help us locate a problem with our outside unit and troubleshoot the best strategy for getting it repaired on a timeline that worked for us.We are grateful we chose Sudden Service for our condo and would easily recommend him and the team to anyone looking for an honest, reliable, and affordable repair team in the DFW metroplex.     Long story short. I got screwed. Every time this company came out to service, I owe them money. So I quit using them. My system went out, called 2 other companies, and said I didnt get what I paid for. My buddy recommended Sudden services. They pretty much said the same thing. I went with the company because they are a small outfit. Shaun took the time to educate me on how the system works and how to keep it running tip top. From listening to Shaun I could tell this company has integrity, and pride. They look out for the best interest of the customer, and not to make an extra dime, like I do for the company I work for. My system was repaired and I look forward to doing business with them again. As long as it doesnt cost me an arm and a leg. So at least call these guys to come out and check your system, I dont think youll be sorry. (Was it short?)

    Weve used Sudden Service for over 2 years since we first moved into our house. Everyone weve worked with has provided the expert level service that you want when you are trusting someone with your home. Where the Sudden Service team really goes above and beyond is with their customer service, helpfulness and professionalism. I could list many specific instances of positive experiences weve had with each person on the team, but Ill point out one that was especially meaningful. When it finally came time to replace our system this month, the process was perfectly coordinated by Dillon and he even remembered from a service visit 6+ months earlier the exact rooms in our house where we had issues with airflow. There is now a big improvement in those rooms. Service like that makes us very loyal customers!

    I can’t provide enough good terms and appreciation for Sudden Service in repairing my AC when two other companies could not find and repair the issue. First company A was here for about 45 minutes and could not find anything wrong as to why my outside unit was freezing up all along charging me money for nothing to investigate the issue. Stated he could not be here all day to look at this. Second Company B also charged me money to come out and was detailed in looking into the issue after what seemed to narrow down to things that could be causing the issue. As it was not dirty air filters, low refrigerant, and one or two other items. Narrowed it down to either the blower motor or the evaporator coil. The parts are under warranty, so Company B (which was going to charge me a few thousand dollars to change out the two parts) ordered the two parts first the blower motor which took 3 weeks to get in (in this heat wave and dome we are in) so half my house was not being cooled. Company B stated he was 90% sure the blower motor swap would resolve the issue, it did not. I got fed up with waiting on the Company B and the distributor and manufacturer of the parts as to when the coil would come in. So I called Sudden Service that same day Shaun came out and in about 30 minutes or less and in discussing the issue stated he was 90% sure it was a relay that went bad, we agreed to change it out. I monitored the system for a few weeks and it’s still cooling even feels as if it cools more than before. After the repair Shaun followed up with me a couple of times to make sure all was well, I appreciated this.Company B finally came out about two and half weeks after the repair with the coil as I wanted to talk to them in person and stated that the AC unit was repaired and working properly now, Company B stated why what happened I said it was a relay that went bad (after telling them I had another company come out and look at the issue). As soon as I was saying the word relay, he held up I also have a relay and was going to change it out. Thank you, Sudden Service, for repairing my AC and bringing cold air back into my home.

They sent a tech out to service my AC, he came right away, even called me to walk me through some things. Shaun was professional, very knowledgeable, worked quickly and resolved my issue.     I had my Air conditioner problems middle of Texas heat wave. I tried my luck with my warrenty company assigned servicer. They did not have any appointments available for next 5 days. My defeated self started to google and found Sudden Service. I sent generic message, and immidiately received a call from them. Appointment was scheduled within few hours, and Shaun was at home 40 minutes before the appointment. He diagnosed the problem within few minutes and fixed the issue withinnext few more. He also provided preventative care for the condenser and explained the need of routine preventative cares. He is friendly, professional, expert and caring.You all who need AC or heating services - I highly reccommend trying Sudden Services once.     Local and family owned company. I called them out to evaluate my A/C after another company reported that it entirely needed to be replaced. Everyone at Sudden Service has been exceptionally helpful and professional. The tech who came out evaluated my system and suggested a more conservative approach. He was very up-front about one component that could fail, but explained everything thoroughly and Im very comfortable with the solution we came to. He also suggested a maintenance agreement which is VERY affordable and will help extend the life of the existing unit. I cannot recommend their service highly enough. Well still have to replace the unit, but have some breathing room to save up for a cash purchase instead of financing now. When we do replace it, Sudden Service will get the job hands down.

    I have used Sudden Service for years. They are fast, reliable and fair. Please do not get tricked not all HVAC companies are the same and Sudden Service is #1 in my opinion. Sudden Service will complete any necessary updates, fixes or maintennace with the main goal of completeing the task effectively and correctly. I depend on Sudden Service for the Bi annually check ups as well as I used them for inspections during my home buying process. That is how much I trust this company. As well as being very personable they are very professional and they also take your HVAC comfort very seriously.     Excellent service! The tech was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had had a retrofit on our unit hoping it would slove the problem, but a month later the problem returned. We had to purchase a whole new unit, and they deducted the cost of the retrofit. An amazing family owned company that cares about its customers.

    Calling Sudden Service literally saved me thousands of dollars. One of the big AC service providers in the area diagnosed a faulty compressor, which would cost about $3k and a week to replace. I called Sudden Service for a second opinion just in case. Shaun came promptly the next morning and within 10 minutes found that the real problem was a capacitor, not the compressor. Installed a new one right from the truck. AC is blowing cold and I saved a ton of money. Thanks for the great service!

    We are so fortunate to have Sudden Service to handle our HVAC. Their customer service is real customer service; they come on time to appointments, charge a reasonable price and are ALWAYS friendly.We have a twice a year plan with Sudden Service, so every spring and fall a technician checks our system to make sure everything is working properly.     Really happy to patronize a locally owned business. Had the company that had installed our unit 23 years ago (also a locally owned company) bid our system. They gave me one option of a 14 SEER and couldnt get to the job until after June 1. Shawn bid three systems: one 14 SEER, and two versions of the 16 SEER. His bid was about $1K less than the other company. I was able to get the 16 SEER unit for just a bit more than the other company quoted for the 14 SEER and it was installed three days later! Quality installation, good crew, great attention to detail. Id rate ten stars if that was an option!

    We have an older unit downstairs that was not keeping the house warm during the super-cold days in December before NYE. Sudden Service scheduled us promptly. The technician was courteous and knowledgeable. He determined that 2 of the 3 heating elements were out. He told me he would have to track down the parts and it would take a day or two. He said he might not be able to find them, but if not then he could rebuild them. He told me what the cost would be, and took time to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of repairing that unit versus replacing it. I chose to repair it, and he was able to track down the parts and returned the next day, completing the repair. I was really pleased with Sudden Service and will definitely use them if we have future heater or A/C needs.
