    Don was amazing! Hes so kind and likeable and intelligent!! He was able to get our AC unit back up and running and went the extra mile to dig into some questions weve had about the air flow being super weak in our outer bedrooms. Ultimately, we have needed to replace our outdated AC unit and he steered us in the direction of choosing a smart and efficient system best suited for our home. Thank you for sending him! Hes been a pleasure! 10/10 would recommend! You have a fabulous employee working for you! Andrew, in finance, was friendly and knowledgeable as well. He helped with 0% options and made the purchase affordable.

    John was pleasant, professional and extremely helpful. He took the time to understand our needs and research options for our hot water heater replacement. Unfortunately, the large one we had was no longer an option but John provided three different alternatives that would be comparable and more efficient.Once we made a decision on which option best met our needs, Stephen Black was dispatched a few days later to remove the leaking hot water heater and install a new one; remove an old garbage disposal and install a new one; and replace a faucet on an outdoor standpipe. Stephen was very professional and polite and did a great job. Surprising to us, he even returned the following day to inspect and ensure everything was working correctly. We are very pleased with the service Southern Air provided. Also, Rachel and Stephanie who answered the phones were pleasant and helpful.

    On October 23,2024 I felt our AC had failed with age an, so we called Southern Air cooling and Heating an they sent Mr. Chris Love to look at our old unit an the wires where burnt after 14years, with the summer temps Mr. Chris Love put on the service report an took pictures of it an on the service report he put we have No air an by the end of the day we got a call from Southern Air Heating and Cooling to set us up to get a new AC on 10-24-24 an our experience with this company coming out an got us set up it was great, the installers very kind an had a answer for all my questions, Yes once new AC was on the house cooled down fast with new digital thermostat,We highly recommend this company for all your needs an expertise with Heating and Cooling, our next step is to get the maintenance plan to keep our new unit lasting longer an safer for our home,I give this installing crew a 10+We are extremely happy 🌷

    They are still currently working on my unit, both guys that have been out here so far have been very professional and very courteous and informative of what is going on.     The technician, Doug M., was phenomenal. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and reassured me that I was in good hands. More technicians could learn a thing or two from him.     Al, Kyle, Nick, and the rest of the Southern plumbing team members provided excellent service, courteous, respectful, and were working in a very professional manner. They avoided having to take fence down even though sewer line ran under it, worked around my dogs/live mines, doing a superb job at leaving my backyard better then what it was before. Showed inspection was passed and right away received a call from the LA Gov. confirming that the job passed inspection. Also was informed that the work has a 5 year warranty in case something for some reason needs to be repaired on section that was replaced. Thanks again Southern Air of Shreveport and hope you keep them GREAT staff members!!!*ELECTRICAL INSPECTION REVIEW* Mr. SEAN MANES did a very superb professional electrical inspection and was very informative. I have been very pleased with all of the staff, Charles, Sean and the ladies at the office. The service thus far has been excellent. Looking forward to the completion of the next project.Sean completed my vanity lights today and I am extremely happy. He went above and beyond, literally. He had to go into my attic to reroute some of the wires. He explained what needed to be done so there were no surprises. He cleaned up the area and carried away the trash. Great job.Brandon completed my guest and master bathrooms today, 1/22/25. He did an excellent job especially in the guest bathroom which was a little more challenging.     Southern Air technician did our regular winter season maintenance yesterday. Tommie did a superb jobwith the seasonal maintenance and replaced a very technical thermostat that had ceased to function just a few days ago.He explained everything very thoroughly and set up my cellphone with app and showed me what the app could do and how to use it.Excellent service by Southern Air and their tech Tommie.We were customers of Service Experts for 30 years and Southern Air purchased them recently. The changeover was totally seamless and very smooth.Highly recommend Southern Air!!!

    I called Southern Air due to my sink leaking in the master bath. John M. Was the tech that came to my home. During his inspection he discovered the cause was a loose connection. He explained what it was and I was relieved. He did suggest installing cut off valves at each sink location thru out the home as well as the water heater.     Loved this company! We had been dealing with some major plumbing issues for awhile. my fiancé called Southern Air and from the start they were amazing! They came out and found the problem, walked me and my fiancé through every step.     I scheduled an appointment with Southern Air on the Electrical side with 2 issues. One issue was a wiring problem with my main living room ceiling light and the other was an issue with my kitchen ceiling light. My service technician Sean figured out within 15 minutes of troubleshooting both of the issues. He gave me a few options with quotes up front and no pressure sales tactics to choose the most expensive one. I chose the option that best suited me and my budget and Sean proceeded with the repairs.     Trevor was great. He showed up on time and was very courteous. He was unable to repair my plumbing issue but scheduled a follow up that will include a camera to better find the problem. Very professional company and easy to work with.I cannot say enough good things about this company. Between Trevor and Levi, they were out to my home 3 times to clean a long drain from my house at the back of my lot. It was determined the problem was also at the front home and they ran it to the street only to find it a city problem. They stood by their guarantee and did not charge me anything as they were unable to fix it. Both gentlemen were easy to work with and very professional. They will be my only plumbers going forward.     I am not a direct customer of Southern Air, however, my brother, Mr. Matthews, has asked me to submit this review on his behalf. He is a resident in one of my rental properties and was In need of HVAC service around 8:30 PM and called Southern Air , and he was impressed that they were able to come on out even though it was late evening. Joe Horton was the technician that arrived and was very pleasant to converse with while he inspected the system and gave Mr. Matthews an estimate for the repair needed. Mr. Horton and Southern Air need to be commended for their professionalism and promptness attending to Mr. Matthews’s needs at such a moments notice. Needless to say, Mr. Matthews was impressed with Mr. Horton and will be calling upon him again as finances permit.

    Bobby came out from Southern Air… came right on time and spent a while checking out my furnace. Gave me a reasonable quote, outlined different options. And didn’t try to up-sale me. Felt like I had felt with someone who was knowledgeable but didn’t try to act like a know-it-all. Very satisfied with that interaction. The furnace isn’t fixed—yet, but I have some idea of what it will take to get it done. I may have a follow-up post after the work is completed but for now—5 stars for the timeliness and communication.

    Bobby Terrell provided very professional in troubleshooting my furnace. He found the problem but took an extra step in checking my system. He found a crack in one chamber that was a safety issue putting out CO2 in dangerous levels, showed me, and we decided to change the system out.     Yeah, no more clogged up drains thanks to Trevor. I had my neighbor go over while at work to let him in to fix the drains in my house. Everything but the washer has stopped working. He got the entire restroom working again. Then tackling the kitchen that gave him a bit of trouble. He got help and it was fixed. Stephanie at the office said they would check the drain Monday with a camera. I pray that more work is not needed. But I am very thankful for my membership and the people at Southern AC/Heating/Electrical/and Plumbing. They have helped me again. Thanks again Trevor!UPDATE: Levi came out to put the camera in the drains. I cant tell you what is in there but I learned from Levi that I have buildup of soap scum and junk in there looks like never cleaned out since house was built. That is 55 years. So now the dilemma is how to financially get the work done to fix it. Thank God for my membership because I have heard horror stories. Levi agreed to go over the issues with a family member because I need help with how to proceed. I may have a insurance on my line as well I have to check into. But all in all Levi was very professional and cared to explain things and told me I could always call with more questions. He also said hed call me back next week to see how things are and for an update as I may not be able to go a long time before I have to have them back out. But I know I feel better having them on standby as I work out how to financially get this job done. Yes, I know they have financing but I am still trying to recover from many financial obstacles. Gas dryers are in fact still manufactured by large brands, just not always readily available in-store. I was told by Matt that gas dryers are no longer made and quoted $1,500 for 30 ft electrical line in order to install an electric dryer. Though I would like to support this business, I can acquire a gas dryer for much less. Mr. Joe Horton did an amazing job working on our AC unit( during a storm mind you) trying to figure out what was causing our unit to not work properly.     Just had Richard Rolland from Southern Air come out and do a seasonal winter checkup on my Trane XR15 Heat pump unit. He was awesome. Richard performed operational checks on the air handler and the compressor out back. He provided me with additional tips on the operation of my thermostat and even alerted me of the need for a surge protector for my heat pump unit. He was very informative, friendly, and courteous.     My experience Ray Parish was very informative and he was professional and took his time to explain what could be done. When I got the estimate I contact him because I had some question he immediately called and we went over the estimate and I approved the estimate. My thanks to him.On July 18 Dylan McCarty(Electrician) and Parker Davis(Plumber)they came to install the Quick connect to my natural gas meter, soft start to my Ac and Interlocking switching box and ran wire from the interlocking box to the other side of the house where the generator was going to be connected. Both were very professional. When they were done they hooked up Generator and explained step by step what to do and then switched breaker to see what we could run. We ran AC, lights in the laundry, master room, master bath, kitchen lights and refrigerator. Awesome team from the estimate to the install. Would not hesitate to recommend this group.
