    We noticed our A/C wasn’t working on Monday evening.We have already been in the process of getting quotes on new AC units to replace ours. My husband gave Robert a call after 5:30pm and left a voicemail. Within 10 minutes, Robert called back and walked my husband through some troubleshooting tips to what may be wrong. Came to the conclusion it was froze up. Robert said he would come out first thing the next morning to look at it. Came at 8:00, before 9:00 told us we had a Freon leak and it was low. He told us he could have a quote for a new AC unit to us within 30 minutes and it be installed next day, if it was in stock, and if we chose to go that route. Once he sent the quote, we agreed to move forward with him replacing our inside and outside unit. He was the lowest quote we had received and the quickest by far. He had it done in less than 4 and a half hours! We appreciate all his hard work!! No AC in this heat isn’t where anyone wants to be so we are thankful he will answer the phone after hours too!!     My husband and I needed a simple part replaced and called a local reputable AC company to repair. In doing so the gentleman that came out ended up breaking our system and it caused an electrical fire. The technician said he replaced the part and that he was not at fault but we were welcome to get a second opinion. We called SLOAN and Robert spent hours repairing the issue that the other AC company broke.     Sloan Heat and Air, LLC is the go HVAC company in and around Athens, TX!We have a 1950s foremans house. Some things have been updated, and somethings not. The air compressor stopped working. We tried to get 2 other companies to diagnose the problem, neither showed up.I called Sloan today. Robert and his son arrived in 20 mins. Within 10 mins I had a diagnosis and options for repair. Robert returned within 90 mins with a new compressor, fittings to switch the older system to the new required coolant and the refrigerant.Robert and his son are respectful, professional, timely, efficient and work within your budget.
