Johnathan L. came to solve a big problem with the ductwork at my home. He worked very hard to find a solution to the problem, completely reworking the design so the heat could reach all areas of the house. He worked on my time schedule to beat the brutally cold weather approaching. His guys did a great job also. I appreciate the knowledge and training that Sinclair provides to their staff. I also appreciate how professional, courteous and helpful everyone is at Sinclair. I am always pleased with the service I receive. I also love the Maintenance program available. I made a good choice when I called Sinclair Heating, Cooling and Plumbing to help me understand my HVAC problems. I had called a few other highly-rated companies in the area, but they either wanted to charge me close to $100 to send someone out to give me an estimate, or they wanted to send their estimator out instead of a technician who would actually listen to me and discuss possible solutions, or their receptionist was just rude and impatient while I tried to my explain reason for calling.Then I called Sinclairs. Kendra was patient while I explained my problem. She said of course they would send a knowledgeable technician out to talk to me. She told me they do not charge for estimates, and it would be totally up to me to decide what I wanted to do. She made an appointment for their technician to come out on the day I asked for, and gave me a specific window of time when he would arrive.Today, Jonathan texted me when he was on his way, and it was well within the 1 1/2 hour service window. He drove up in a clean, well-maintained company vehicle and introduced himself right away. He asked me to explain my concerns, and he listened and asked intelligent questions. Jonathan did so many things right, from explaining why I am having certain problems, to taking pictures in the attic to show me what kind of ductwork I have, to giving me pros and cons of each option that we discussed.Kudos to the Sinclair family for hiring and keeping professional, loyal, experienced employees like Jonathan! I look forward to working with this company and will update my review when the work is completed.

We had our furnace stop working in the middle of a very cold Saturday night. We called several HVAC companies, but Sinclair was the first to call us back. They sent us a technician was was knowledgeable and friendly. He diagnosed our problem, resolved it and explained what was going on. I will definitely use them again.

These guys always do a great job. I’ve got their comfort plan which is really economical and gives them a chance to look over your system preventively in the spring and fall before the major temperature extremes and prevents costly repairs. They’re friendly, on time, and very knowledgeable about their trade. I’d highly recommend Sinclair for any heating and plumbing needs!

Ive used Sinclair for several HVAC issues. When my AC died in the middle of the summer the tech could have told me that the entire system needed to be replaced. But he looked it over and found a bad relay and only charged $150. The charge to replace my blower motor a couple of years later was very reasonable with outstanding attention to detail.Recently I decided to switch my old water heater to a tankless heater. This job requires several plumbing modifications so I got estimates from 4 plumbers, including Sinclair.Dillon came our to provide an estimate. He looked over everything carefully then asked lots of questions before providing me with several options. Dillon then emailed me a formal estimate that beat a certain blue competitor by over $1000.I scheduled the work and Dillon and his helper arrived on time. They were polite, personable, and respectful of my property.After removing my tank heater he modified my existing supply and hot water lines, installed new vent through the roof, hung the new heater, made all gas and water connections, modified the drain line, and installed a drip pan/drain sink.All work was completed with the utmost care and Dillon sought my approval several times during the process.I will continue to use Sinclair for my HVAC and plumbing needs for one simple reason:I trust Sinclair.

Jonathan and his team recently helped us replace a heating and cooling unit after ours died and did a fantastic job trying to make sure the job was done right. Communication was excellent and, we knew exactly when people would be by. We appreciated Sinclair lending us a portable A/C unit so we didn’t have to completely sweat it out until the unit could be replaced. We are glad to have a unit with both a materials AND labor warranty now.

I think both times I have called I was experiencing side effects of something I missed or something I didn’t understand as a new homeowner but they never made me feel silly for it.I really appreciated their technician Kohl’s kindness and generosity. When our 9 yr old AC unit went out, I called the original company that installed it because it had a 10 yr warranty. That experience was a fiasco from the start. They wouldn’t come out til the next day, they didn’t call before they showed up because the work order used my old number, and said even if warranty was registered I’d still be looking at over $4000 parts and labor or buy new condenser that could be financed. They didnt care one bit that the product they sold and installed lasted only 9 years, or that we were older and my partner disabled, or that we had no AC in extreme heat conditions, so I didn’t care to use their services again.After looking at other companies and their reviews, I decided to call Sinclair. I left a message on Saturday expecting a call back on Monday. To my surprise, I received a call within an hour from the tech who was on call. He listened to me, responded with empathy, said he didn’t think the sales techs worked on weekends, but he could schedule for me to talk to one 1st thing Monday. I received a call at 8:00 am Monday and scheduled a 10:00 appointment. Even though I had just made the appointment, I received a text from the company and a phone call from the sales tech that he was on the way. Jonathan Lofton was awesome. He was incredibly nice, sensitive to our situation and my partner’s recent confinement to a wheelchair, and helped me move stuff around in the garage so he could get up in the attic. He then actually sat down, showed us and explained the pictures he had taken in the attic, discussed the issues he had seen and different options to correct them, and he explained our options for the AC. Then once we chose a system, there was financing to figure out., and yes, there are different options for that also, if needed. Jonathan was very patient, answered all our questions, and never once looked at his watch or acted like he needed to be somewhere else.Losing AC in August during a hot streak of days between 101 and 106 is a miserable experience for anyone, especially for those over 60 and disabled. The on call tech who took the time to return my call on a Saturday set the bar for the rest of our experience with Sinclair; Michelle, Kendra, and especially Jonathan are so competent at what they do, they’re able to make the customer “the most important item they need to take care of” at that moment. I highly recommend using Sinclair; you’ll be in good hands!

Wow!!! Is all I can say. I’ve been an electrical contractor for 25 yrs in New Mexico, so I know the service industry and response to calls and timeframes to complete. I have a vacation home in Lubbock that had a AC capacitor go out and a water heater tank leaking at the same time on a Sunday night. I called left message, they returned my call within an hour, and ALL repairs were completed by noon on Monday. 100% professional techs and cleaned up, hauled off old pieces.

Very positive experience! Sinclair office called to let us know when the plumber would arrive and not 10 minutes later we received a call from Dillion that he was on his way.When he arrived, not even 15 minutes later, he showed us what was wrong with the toilet and why we were having problems. We asked him if he could give us an estimate of the cost of repair and he said that he could give us the exact cost. He fixed the problem, cleaned up, and charged us the price that he quoted. We are so happy with the work and the toilet is working like a charm!When we need plumbing work done we plan on using Sinclair... and we will ask for Dillon to do the job! Thanks!

Amazing experience from first phone call to fixed problem. Called on Saturday and had a Tech come Monday (our choice). Our Tech was Kohl and he was awesome! Took time to go over the issues we were having, answer all of our questions about the problem and unit we have, and fix it. Our unit was running, but not blowing cold air. Our drain on the inside unit wasnt draining correctly and the outside unit had a freon leak through the valve. Kohl fixed the inside condensation drain issue, the freon valve leak, and put more freon in and we now have a properly cooling AC again. Thank you, Kohl! And thank you Sinclair for an amazing crew and Techs that take care of your customers! We know who to call when we need something fixed or replaced!

Great experience!! We bought our house a few years ago and never had any problems with our A/C until now. I didn’t know who to call until someone suggested Sinclair. I called Sinclair cooling Sunday morning (6/30/2024) and a very helpful lady took my call and immediately contacted and dispatched a technician. To say the least, Andrew showed up and spent several hours fixing, replacing parts and working.on our a/c system. We were very pleased with the prompt reliable service. Our technician put us at ease, fixed the multiple problems and blessed us with a fully functioning a/c again. I recently came home on a Saturday afternoon to my AC unit not cooling. After checking a few things, I call another AC company. Once they had checked the system, they told me my compressor was shot. They recommended I replace the entire unit at a cost of $10 - $12k. Having time to think about things I decided to get a second opinion and called Sinclair. They were very professional, sending a pic of the tech which would be doing the service work and communicating the process. The tech arrived on time, was very professional and even wore shoe covers while inside. Once he had assessed the unit he too told me the compressor was shot. He then provided three options ranging from just over $2k to just over 4k. He took the time to explain each option and their benefits as well as the warranty included with each. Choosing to go with the $4k option, the tech then told me they would have to find a unit and have it shipped. He explained this could take some time, but they would do their best to get it here asap. He also explained they would waive their service fee due to the purchase. By the end of the day I received a call from the office personnel letting me know they had located a unit and would have it in their warehouse by 8:30 the next morning and could schedule their team to be at my home by 9am. The installers where on time and got to work quickly, even though it was raining. Both men were polite and explained everything and by noon I had AC running in the house again. Sinclair did exactly what they said, their people are beyond professional and their communication is amazing. I will only use Sinclair for my service needs in the future. Thank you!

Sinclair has always been solid for us. Most recently, they installed an entirely new HVAC system for us. Jonathan Lofton was our point agent and did a great job explaining options to us; and then Sinclair did an excellent job getting everything installed quickly. The new HVAC unit works great! My only small concern was that I was initially told any drywall “fudging” on the new in-vent would be taken care of, and that turned out not to be the case. (I was told, regarding the imperfection, after the fact, that I could speak with Sinclair about an estimate for drywall repair.) Despite that it was, as always, still overall very good service. 👍🏻

We purchased a new carrier system from Sinclair in 2016. We had a problem with the fuse in 2021. They fixed the problem immediately. Yesterday we had the same problem again. They came out and the technician Andrew Riveria thought it was the heating strip. He consulted with his supervisor. They were going to order a strip on monday. He left and immediately came back. He decided to check one more thing. It was the same problem we had before in 2021. He had the part and immediately fixed our problem. We were impressed that he went over and beyond to help us and make sure it was the correct problem we were having.

Sinclair will be my goto for AC/heating and plumbing repairs.SECOND REVIEW 2020: Hired Sinclair to replace a different water heater. This time the work was completed by Dillon and Zach. Both were very professional and friendly. They also took the time to listen to me, explain the repairs and answer my questions. There was a rats nest of corroded old fittings and leaky gate valves on the cold water in line which had to go. They devised and installed a modern solution that will no-doubt outlast many water heaters. Total satisfaction on my part and five stars again!THIRD REVIEW 2024 Hired Sinclair to repair a refrigerated AC unit. They diagnosed the problem and put a new start capacitor in the AC. Quick, competent, friendly service as always. Five stars again!

Sinclair did a great job. Unfortunately, our AC is a Bosch & we’ve had nothing but problems with it. It took 5 weeks to get all the parts in because every time one or two got here, which took 1-2 weeks, there was a problem with another part. Sinclair stuck with it though and stayed in contact with Bosch & me until the unit was finally fixed. They are awesome!

A nice young man fixed my Daiken unit yesterday. He did a good job. But Sinclair Plumbing seems to be a bit paranoid for some reason. When you call them a recording tells you your call may be recorded. Come on, folk! Were only talking about plumbing here, not national security! And I was charged $10.00 for mileage, and I live here in Lubbock! Smells like a money-grab to me. I was charged $240 to clean-out a wall unit in my house. The guy did a fine job, but I did wonder why it cost so much for maintenance. He was only here a little over an hour. Oh, well, we live in those kinds of times I guess. Money, money, money. Still, Sinclair did a good job, so Ill probably call them again next time I need service because I doubt theres a nickles worth of difference in the companies nowadays anyway. Our water inlet valves in the wall to the washing machine had slow leaks. They were 45 years old and soldered to the cooper water lines. My husband could not simply unscrew them and replace. Sinclair was called. They arrived at scheduled time, wearing masks at all times. Sinclair sent a picture of the service man for our security, previous to the employee coming. The service men were friendly, knowledgeable and informed us of the reasonable price before doing the repairs. We now have new valves which are not soldered, but have screw on connectors to the cooper pipes, so future problems can be avoided. I highly recommend Sinclair for heat, A/C and plumbing work.

We used Sinclair to have our AC repaired and they were great. Cory was very helpful and personable and so were the two men who installed our replacement part. What we needed happened to be under warranty, so we only had to pay for labor, which seemed reasonable. The warranty company was slow to get the part here, but Cory knew exactly when it came in and they were here the next day. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because it took two visits, 9 days apart, to diagnose- the first person couldn’t figure it out and their office charged the diagnostic both times for the exact same issue. Overall though, they were easy to communicate with and if we can, we will specifically ask for Cory in the future.

First he tried cleaning it. Thought it was good until it came on with the kaboom. Immediately he said turn it off, I’ll be back. He made sure it was the gas valve that needed replacement, got it done in about 20 min and saved us from a huge purchase of a new unit. Sinclair has been our plumber, HVAC repair team for 18 years. Mike was very diligent in getting us an accurate quote. He was courteous and knowledgeable. He identified right away that our A/C unit was too small for the space it was supposed to condition. He took a bit longer on finalizing our quote but I think he was trying to be thorough. In the end we decided to go with a different company. His quote was on par with the other contractors we spoke with and the warranty Sinclair offered was better than the others but in the end the other company was better suited to handle our specific problem. Side note: I would go with Sinclair over Earls - hands down. Earls A/C department is worse than Mos Eisley. Avoid if at all possible!!! Go with Sinclair!

I am disabled snd my toilet began overflowing on a Friday afternoon. I called a couple of other plumbing companies who advertised emergency plumbing. How can it be emergency plumbing when they cant get to you till Monday?I called Sinclair and they dispatched Zach within the next 20 minutes. He was at my house with the half hour. And after I called them, they sent me his name & photo so I would know who was coming to fix my toilet.Zach was courteous & professional. Most importantly, he knew what he was doing and had the problem resolved in a matter of minutes. He even took a look at my washer, which had been overflowing.He said the washer was an issue of overloading and I should tell my aides to cut the laundry loads in half. He then gave me his card, so I could call him if he was needed in the future, as the repairs on the toilet were guaranteed for a whole month. Sinclair did the installation on my house when it was new in 2004 and there was a problem regarding the drain in my kitchen. After 14 years in the house with a recurring problem, I posted a negative review in late January of 2019 based on my previous experience. I was contacted by Alex and David regarding my problem and on January 30, 2019 we met and made a plan to get it fixed. Whereas the problem was really bad for many years, I cannot adequately express how positively impressed I am by the ultimate solution. Sinclair stood by me and I believe the problem has been resolved. This is an update to my earlier post. I really appreciate David and Alex for following up with me. Problems happen, but it is the sign of a good business to make things right. Thank you Sinclair!

Even tho it was after hours, Jake was courteous and showed up when I was told he would be here.He had the necessary part to complete the plumbing repair . . . which definitely beat waiting from Fri AM—Mon AM for service, which is what I initially was told was the best Sinclair could do.He got my shower turned off, installed a new valve, and waited for me to test it out.The prior faucet was installed by a different Sinclair technician just 3 months ago. There is no way that valve should have gone bad, but Jake very ably corrected somebody else’s work.Sinclair has always cared about their customers. They have always done the job right, and we have used their services for years and years because of this.I was a little dismayed this morning to find that they could not send anyone for 3 —4 days.Jake kept our business for them tonight by coming out here, even tho he wasn’t on call.If I had needed to call a different plumbing co to get my shower turned off tonight, I would have switched all my business.Thx Jake!

Before I begin the review, you need to understand my unit is soon to be 20 years old and symptoms that present can be caused for numerous reasons. Sometimes it turns into a man vs machine war.I only use Sinclair for my HVAC needs an have done so for close to 20 years.I have always gotten exceptional service in a timely and professional manner. I guess I should add at a reasonable price.Brandon was very professional and arrived promptly and got to work. Due to the machine age it took a few weeks to get the part. Brandon was out the same day it arrived and got it installed. But the symptom was not totally resolved and resulted in a tie. Brandon put up a good fight.Called Sinclair and they immediately sent out Colten and you could see in his face, he was not going to lose to a machine. He went above and beyond until he identified a needle in the haystack. The machine lost big time.I felt I got the best technicians with Sinclair and they gave it 110%. Thanks Sinclair, Brandon and Colton for the outstanding service.

Sinclair is one of the best companies I’ve ever worked with in any place I’ve lived. That includes California, Tennessee, Houston, and Lubbock. They usually answer the phone with a real person, but are quick to return a call, great on pricing, easy to work with and schedule, and the technicians act like they are fixing something in their own home. Very conscientious and helpful. For both air-conditioning and plumbing problems, we have had the best technicians. Can’t recommend Sinclair highly enough for any needs in your home.

I had asked Sinclair for a routine servicing (I have two units.) While checking everything out, Colton spotted a part he recommended I replace. Cost was minimal. Saved me money in the long run. He had me fixed up in no time. AC is blowing COLD. And this makes my wife very happy. :))

I have used Sinclair for 6 years since I purchased my house for their quick service, reasonable call pricing, willingness to come out evenings and holidays, and honest diagnosis and system repairs. My air went out two days ago and Darin came by to find a solution and diagnosed the problem quickly. It was not good news, but he went over all of my options for repair and replacement. Given the circumstances, we chose to replace our 12-year-old existing a/c/furnace unit. He was very helpful and honest in helping us choose a model that would last and wouldnt break the bank and never tried to up-sale us on units. He gave me piece of mind with his confidence in their units. He even came back the next day and the day after to ensure that we got our unit installed ASAP with 102 degree weather in full swing. Keith and Matt provided a timely installation with no problems. Thanks to the guys at Sinclair for all of the years of great service and hope to continue using them for years to come.

Service was good but the communication needs work. The technicians came and after I identified the problem they fixed it. They were excellent in that regard. The problem I have is the pricing and the fact that they dont give you any estimates or flat rates for the service. They wont tell you anything until they come to your house first. Which doesnt make sense because as soon as they got to my house they knew the exact price for the job that I told them on the phone. Had I known the price over the phone I would have declined the service. Most basic unclog jobs in the area are around $50-$125. They charged a flat rate of $225 for less than 30 minutes of basic work. I cant recommend a company that knows what the price will be (because as I said earlier as soon as I told them the problem they instantly gave me a fixed price) but they choose to wait until they were on sight to give it, and then that price be over 4 times what the average price is for the same service. In these times saving every penny you can is important so if you are on a budget but need similar service, look elsewhere.Edit on Wednesday, May 18th: Got a call from the manager and he took the time to address my review and after explaining to me the process and agreeing to better communicate with his employees he also gave me a credit back for their service. I feel completly valued now as a customer and I can recommend them to other people. Customer service is important and for that I have to give Sinclair 4 stars. Bravo!

Amazing, amazing, amazing❣️ In the middle of a hot summer day.....salesman Mike Morin came to my rental property and gave me an estimate for 2 new units. Here’s where it gets good.....I had Bruce Thorton Heating and Cooling out a few days before and a super nice guy added a little Freon and quotedme a price for a new unit. My unit was 23 yrs old and I assumed that was accurate information about needing a new unit. My husband however was telling the repairman what he thought was wrong with the unit. I start comparison shopping for a new unit and Sinclair’s Mike Morin walks into my world and tells me my husband was right. Mike stepped out of the salesman role and became my repairman. One hour later and there was air after two days of sweltering heat. The cost was $350 vs $6000. A bandage that allows me time to get ready to spend $6000. Thank you Sinclair AND thank you Mike❣️

Mike Morin, service tech, went above and beyond to help keep me cool during our first heatwave of spring. Working in an estimate during a busy week, giving my existing system a boost to give me some relief from the unexpected temperatures, and getting the install scheduled later that week was phenomenal! The install crew (Joshua Austin and Luis Hernandez) were courteous, friendly and hardworking. They worked in a very tight spot throughout the day in stifling attic temperatures and never lost their smiles. They were back today to tweak the pressures and make sure the system was cooling properly and promised a final check tomorrow. All three made a lasting impression with their courteous, professional service. I highly recommend Mike, Josh, Luis and the Sinclair team.
