    So, Rock Solid just came out to my house for the second time. This summer my AC blew on the hottest week of the summer. I called at 8am and they came by 10am. He looked and identified the problem in 10 minutes. He then made a repair for an about $150. AC worked great the rest of the summer. It’s a 12 year old unit and he gave me tips to keep it going as long as possible. Then, he came out for my heater today after again calling him the day of. Located the problem immediately and said it just needed some TLC and a small new part. It cost me $139. The guy is upper friendly, fast, and seems very fair on price!

    Rock Solid continues to deliver superior, timely and affordable service. I have now used them twice in the past 18 months and have had a 5 star experience each time. I appreciate that they attempt to diagnosis the problem over the phone by running me through simple DIY procedures before determining that a service call may be necessary. Additionally, I NEVER get an up-sell pitch from them which is rare among their competitors. I refuse to do business with anyone else as a result of my experience with them.

    If I could rate these guys 6 stars, I would.They are honest people that deliver excellent service, at an affordable price... Not sure what else there is to say.For those who like details:I had a prior company out to look at my system. They identified a blockage in my drain, quoted me >$2,000 to unclog the drain and replace the faulty parts.Called Rock Solid for a second opinion, they immediately identified the source of the issue to be a crimped drainage pipe under my bathroom sink. They uncrimped the pipe, flushed the line,, and confirmed that everything else was working as expected. Final bill was less than $200.

    Rock Solid installed a new heat pump system for me in May 2019. They provided the most competitive pricing for the quality of the equipment. What truly made them exceptional was the service John (the owner) provided after the install. With any new equipment, there is the risk of issues when starting up. I didnt have any issues all summer but did run into an issue during the winter. Not only did John come by within 24 hours to troubleshoot, but he was also committed to resolving the issue no matter what it took. Right now, my system works great and I have the peace of mind that if any issues did come up, Rock Solid will be there to fix it right away. I highly recommend Rock Solid for new unit installs and service.

    Amazing experience. I went through 4 different AC companies giving me the run around on a rental property I have. Rock Solid was the first AC repair that I spoke with that was honest, reasonable in pricing and approach, fast to get out to resolve our issue and so easy to work with. I’m a realtor and will refer him to all my future clients and use him for all my AC needs. I feel so fortunate to have found him.

    My AV company used John and Rock Solid to install a smart thermostat that was outsmarting them (the AV company). John came out and sorted things out to ensure no issues. He was on time and very professional, taking the time to explain to us what the issues were.While this was a simple visit, I would use and recommend Rock Solid for future, more extensive work.

    TLDR version: extremely responsive and highly professional. They focus on fixing problems not trying to upsell you.Rock Solid Heating and cooling came recommended by a friend and I am glad to have worked with them. Last night, in the middle of week three of a Texas summer of over 100+ our outside compressor stopped running. We only noticed as our thermostat kept trying to cool only to see the temp creep higher and higher.I called Rock Solid by 8 am and despite talking to another customer they texted me they would call back asap, which was within 30min. Once on the phone with John he explained that he had listened to my voicemail and asked some follow up questions. After assessing the situation he told me his best estimate of when they could come, and we were in luck because he believed they could get to us that day!I was notified via text when Sean was en route and he was extremely professional from beginning to end (despite me conducting a meeting while working from home). Within 30min Sean was able to diagnose the problem (a fried capacitor on the fan motor control board) and fixed it.After a frightening 18th a with no AC in Texas our AC was rocking and rolling. Rock Solid has a solid customer in me.

    Rock Solid came highly recommended from a friend a few weeks ago. Came home to air handler issues today and decided to give them a call. They were very helpful and got me squared away. I know who Im going to start using for checkups and issues I cant handle myself!Update: 3 years later and I needed their services again. Still maintaining excellent customer service and workmanship.

    They were able to replace my upstairs AC coil rather quickly in the mid-August heat. Was happy with the price and service. Rock Solid seem like a very knowledgeable and trustworthy crew. Definitely will use them again for any AC or heating issues in the future.

    I spoke to John, the owner, on the phone at about 1:30 PM. He couldnt make it, but sent Sean instead. Sean was there by 3:20 PM or so, the same day! We were having issues with the A/C unit for the upstairs. He determined the problem (dead capacitor) and had it fixed and was on to his next job in 45 minutes. Sean is a great technician and was very informative regarding the problem and the solution. He was fast, professional, and the service was fairly priced. I will call these guys again when I have problem. Oh, by the way, I had a similar issue with my other A/C unit earlier this year and called a different company back in June. This other company charged me twice the price that Rock Solid Heating and Cooling charged me for essentially the same problem. Rock Solid Heating and Cooling is my new Go to company for any future heating and Cooling issues. I recommend them highly!

    Believe the reviews. John is excellent. He is curteous, professional and knowledgable. He recently came and fixed our heat when it unexpectedly quit working on a Sunday after Christmas. He came within 30 minutes of my first contact and quickly had the problem diagnosed. He performs his own work and doesnt leave until he makes sure everything is working properly. Our heat was fixed in less than an hour. He even worked with our landlord to arrange payment for the repair work. No gimmicks, no high pressure sales tactics or ridiculous quotes. John is just a great local businessman with high quality work ethics and customer service.

    Our a/c wasn’t working and we were worried about our 17 m/o son overheating while sleeping. Sean came over at 10pm and worked for about an hour changing out our connection boxes so that we could sleep easy knowing our son was cool. Amazing guys.     Rock Solid has helped us twice! once with Ac and once with our furnace. Considering our unit is old they could have easily said that it but both fixes were very reasonable. They are very fast and honest. needed to be replaced or very costly repairs

    Awesome service, highly recommend.We got a quote from another company to fix our [perfectly working] AC unit that was very suspect (they used all kinds of scare tactics like telling us our AC would blow up by the end of the summer). John came out that same day after hours, despite having a full schedule. He told us the other company was wrong, and our coolant level was fine (in other words, the other company flat-out lied about the unit being broken). He did find a weak capacitor, but that was the only issue, very minor. He literally saved us thousands of dollars.There is no way I will call anyone else but Rock Solid for AC/heating repair again.
