Our 25 year AC needed replacing. We contacted 12 Austin AC companies, got bids and asked questions of all. I am also an engineer and have run a few businesses, not my first rodeo. Spent a few weeks learning and deciding.Every once in a while you run across a company that is just nailing it. An owner that is engaged and responsive, focused on quality and customer service. An experienced crew that works in competent unison. Resilience Heating and Cooling is that company.Their bid was not our lowest, but it did deliver the most value.The work was impeccable, extra care was taken in the details, everything was code -- but quality show in the details. Yusuan and crew took the extra time to seal two leaky plenums, to rerun the drain lines, to update the gas piping, dedicated the time it takes to teach us the new controls, even the work area was cleaner than when they got here, and shoe covers were used when they were in the house.The project happened at speed, we were cool by early afternoon. They respected our COVID distancing requests -- as we are protecting those we love -- thank you.Bottom line, put Resilience on your list any time you need AC work.You will not find better quality, value, and responsiveness. You gotta love an Austin business doing good. Keep it up guys!!Update: after a few days, my Austin energy app is showing that our electrical consumption is at 60% of what it was prior to the install and we are more comfortable than we have been in years. I have used Resilience for many years on my primary home and rentals and have always had service and quality that is above and beyond. They have done everything from maintenance, repair, whole home unit replacement, rerunning and optimizing ducts, and added new whole home insulation to name a few items. Always very professional, constant communication, on time, and will get very creative to find their customers a solution that is both quality and cost effective without pushing anything unnecessary. They even figured out how to retool our current setup at our home when extra square footage was added using the current equipment and really thinking out the problem where other companies were selling a complete system replacement saving us a lot of money. The team remembers their customers and their systems to ensure they can deliver what you need. I continue to recommend them to anyone I meet and will continue to use them for years to come.

Eddie did a great job responding to one of our properties here in Austin. He coordinated his visit with the tenant. He was not satisfied with merely replacing a blown control fuse, but continued to investigate until he found the root cause. Then he helped us get the defective part replaced under manufacturer’s warranty. Finally, he cleaned up some unconventional wiring. Excellent service at a fair price!

If you live in the northern hemisphere you know its unbelievably HOT right now. Our A/C unit was 18yrs old but functioning (with maintenance from Resilience)in June but by mid July it just couldnt take the humidity and nonstop 105+ degrees days. I had Resilience come a couple of times to get our unit working again when it would randomly cut off but they let us know it was on its last legs. Resilience was able to install a new A/C unit within 24hrs when the day came and I SO appreciate them. Responsive, kind, good pricing and quick. If you need any HVAC help, I highly recommend Yusuan and crew at Resilience.

Best AC service I‘ve ever seen, the owner YuSuan is very responsible and has good manners, he helped us installed two coils and one UV light, when I have a small problem with the first coil, which we have used for a summer season, he exchanged the whole unit for us for free, I know it’s under warranty but he also changed our two vents which connect with this coil for free. I was so impressed with their high quality service and professional, also have fairly price, very happy. Highly recommend them.

Yusuan and his team just replaced our entire aging HVAC system and we couldnt be happier! He walked us through our options and didnt pressure us to go one way or another - he simply educated us and let us decide. On installation day, the team was friendly, responsive, and made sure to keep everything clean as they worked. Professionals all around.I wouldve recommended Resilience on that experience alone - but it gets even better. A few days after the installation, the AC wasnt cooling down the house. I emailed Yusuan at 7:00PM and he was at our house by 8:00. It was too dark to diagnose the root cause, but he determined that the unit itself was low on [the cold stuff]. He filled it up to get us through the night and said he would be back in the morning. They came by around 9am and determined the unit itself had an issue and the best course of action was to simply replace it. That evening they had a new unit installed and everything has been great!We expected theyd do a great job when we hired them - but their customer service went above and beyond when we needed their help. Anyone willing to come by and help at 8PM deserves all the stars a review platform can handle.

After recently installing a new AC I was noticing a weird smell (from the air going from hot to cold and cold to hot) and he came over and cleaned it right away and the air is smelling fresh again. Also, his team is great about keeping your space clean - they always wear booties covering their shoes when walking in and out of your house. Its those extra details and helps him and his team stand apart. Ive already recommended him to several family members for their AC issues.

Our main heating failed earlier this week. We are fortunate that the second system covers the Master Bed/Bath so consider ourselves more fortunate than many that were and continue to be impacted this week.Made a few calls for help with most not available or long delays. Yusuan, owner/operator of Resilience called right back and tried to come out Tues and Thur (skipped Wed as we had no power) but not able due to our weather. Most important is that he was very proactive in his communication. Not once did I have to call him for updates as he let us know several times what was going on and what to plan for. Wow!Yusuan and Rene came this morning, found and fixed the issue, and were very reasonably priced. Very professional and two of the nicest folks you could meet.June 26, 2023 Update:Had our cooling go out in the Master Bed/Bath. Called Yusuan on Sunday and he was already calling me back when I was leaving a message. We scheduled an 11:00 time on Monday. 8:30 Monday, Yusuan calls and asks if he can come earlier - heck yes! Was just the starter capacitor which he had and we were back up and running in no time and a fair price. These folks are great!September 14, 2023 Update:Yusuan and his guys have kept our old system running for several years, but it was time to replace. He quoted us a very fair price, did the install in two days (2 units plus an additional return for a room that was never comfortable). Even with our unseasonably warm weather, our house was cool while the work was being done. We should be ready for whatever Mother Nature deals us.December 26, 2023 Update:Woke up this morning and the bedroom thermostat was not working. Turned out that the breaker had flipped. I reset it 3 times, but still a problem. I sent a note to Yusuan and (of course!) an almost immediate response that Eddie would be over in about an hour. Turned out the bedroom unit had dual heat strips (not required) that pulled too much current, tripping the breaker. Probably the first time the system used them as our temps had dropped to the low 30’s. Eddie knew immediately what it was and got the system going in no time.February 19 Update:On Sunday (of course) I got an alert that there was a heat pump fault. The electric strips worked fine so not without heat on a cold day. I sent a note to Yusuan describing the problem and Eddy showed up bright and early Monday morning. Problem was a loose wire in the compressor, most likely from the factory. Eddy fixed it and made sure everything was running properly. As always, fast response and should be good to go.

Yusuan is a true professional and the best HVAC repair person I have worked with as a 10+ year Austinite. He is honest, quick to respond, shows up on time (even early!), and has the best pricing I have seen in Austin. Service from Yusuan is absolutely the best I have ever experienced from a HVAC contractor. He is incredibly thorough and professional. He exhibits pride in his workmanship which has been somewhat lost over the past 3 decades in my opinion. He replaced an improperly installed condenser/coil unit as well as made other minor but important adjustments to the plenum and drains. He also noticed the previously installed UV filter had been installed backwards and reversed it as part of optimizing the system. After doing the coil install, he did a assessment of the outside unit which uncovered a soon to fail capacitor and contactor. He then did a full preventative service on the outdoor unit. Replaced those parts at cost of materials since, per Yusuan, the labor for the condenser unit and overall project warranted him to do the preventative maintenance and repair. His price to do the coil was fair but he then he went above and beyond and in doing so, earned my trust.All of the above was a great experience, but then...During the preventative maintenance on the exterior until he reported the insulation on the exterior lines was insufficient and needed to be addressed though he didnt have the materials on hand. He said he would stop by next couple weeks and take care of it. A week, maybe 10 days went by when I saw his truck outside. I had forgotten he was coming back but he had not. He replaced the insulation and left without asking for anything in return. How many HVAC contractors do you know that would commit to returning to do something out of scope and actually do it...without charge? This was all mid April, HVAC season heating up, they were busy but he took CARE of us, a first time customer.Today, he completed the mid-year preventative service to tune up for heating season. He spent a full 30 minutes inspecting and cleaning the inside coil/condenser and another full 30 minutes cleaning/inspecting the outdoor unit. He was here, working, for over an hour for a preventative maintenance call.My sense is that Yusuan cares about his work but also wants to provide a trustworthy service where customers trust him to maintain their HVAC systems but also provide comfort for his customers families. This guy cares and is 100% genuine.Great communication via text system to inform of appointment date/time, any changes to such, notification of tech on the way, etc.I now have the highest level of confidence in Yusuan and my system.5 stars. All day without hesitation.
