Ezekiel Charles was amazing. Radiant plumbing, y’all need to give him a huge raise. He is one humble, honest and God loving person who only recommend what truly customer needs rather than what he wants to sell. I called Radiant to get a “quote” for water softener but with his thorough inspection and research, he found out I needed a water heater replacement. He went above and beyond to take him time and presented several options - from adding water softeners to simple repairs. His hawk eyes and experience caught that roof replacement cause the vent to bent and causing Carlton monoxide to flow back and damaging the water heater. Remember, only one needed to be repaired or replaced. Since other machines almost 9 years old and coming to the age and his honest opinion on what to to my husband ended with two water heater replacement and adding flow tech. Also, his went above and beyond with getting extra discount by calling his manager and contacting finance person for best option just won my heart. He is his namesake and God fearing man who represent Jesus to his customers!! Radiant Plumbing, thank you for hiring him and now please hire more like him and Give him a big bonus!! **Edited to include new information.After calling 6 more plumbers I found out Radiant is price gouging. The average price for a new toilet is $700. Radiant charged me $1200!!! Avoid them.**Edited to include my third experience on 8Dec.2024The Master plumber, David Farmer showed up on time and very quickly assessed the problem. He made excellent and logical suggestions. He asked when the system was flushed last. I said I have no idea, as Ive never done it in 10 years He said its going to have some sediment, and if the pieces are large it will clog the valve and we might have to replace the water heater. I recommend installing the larger valve and then flushing it out. I agreed to the suggested services.He answered all of my questions as he replaced the water heater valve with a higher capacity valve and flushed the system. There was quite a bit of sediment and he was careful to ensure that the job was completed properly and he also cleaned up the area. I paid and he emailed the receipt.Then he said lets check your most used faucets to make sure there is no sediment trapped there. He tried to shut off H2O to kitchen sink, but the cut off knob wasnt working. So we went outside and he cut off the main. He suggested at some point we may want to install our own water main cut off. If we use and break the City of Austin water cut off, they charge $5k to replace it. Once we were able to see the kitchen cut off it was also full of sediment. He said we needed to replace the water cutoff under the sink and he showed me the problem. I watched him do the shut off replacement and clean out and saw several more particles of sediment come out. He showed me the old connection and it was full of sediment partially blocking the water. The volume of water was vastly improved after he finished. He checked and cleaned out the master bathroom taps as well.As he was wrapping up I asked how much I owed for this additional service. He said No, no there is no extra charge. Your initial service was delayed and I want to make this right for you. I was absolutely shocked, as most service companies want to charge you just for looking at a problem with out fixing it. He was so thoughtful and thorough, which is becoming a rare thing. I was also very impressed by his professional demeanor and skill at completing the repairs. He has made me a Radiant customer for life!! I wish I could give him more than 5 stars!**EDITED to include my second experience on 7Dec.2024They really dropped the ball today. I called to schedule water heater service about 10 this morning. The girl answering the phone took all my information twice. She said I would get a morning appointment, but it could be afternoon before the tech arrives. I said no problem.Well it was 4:20 and still no technician. I called back to see what the problem was. She said we called the number on file and nobody answered. I asked what number, and she responded with my husbands number. I asked Why call that number when I was the one who called and I gave you MY phone number twice? She apologized profusely. I said I understand, but that doesnt fix my water heater.She said we would be the first service call tomorrow. So this means two days of cold showers when the weather is 40° and rainy. We will see what happens in the morning. Feeling pretty disappointed today, after my first experience with them was so stellar.FIRST Experience November 2024We had a pretty bad leak on the main water coming into the house. The pipe somehow was totally severed. Billy was extremely kind courteous, fast and professional. He did a wonderful job and we would absolutely have him back for any future problems. I highly recommend Radiant. I called them because of their cute commercials and now can happily say Im a very satisfied customer.

Duane Thompson was great! He was very friendly and professional as he worked on fixing a toilet. He clearly communicated the issue after testing several diagnostics. The toilet needed to be replaced and he was able to quickly replace it with a new toilet the very next morning. I really appreciate his informative and quick help. I will definitely continue to use Radiant moving forward.

The pictures indicated a lot of upcoming problems. We talked about a new unit and Raymond came by to give me a quote on a new system. The next day Jesus and Juan arrived with a new Trane system. I asked how many days it would take and they said they would be done today. To my surprise they were up and running in hours. After that plumber was fired, I called Radiant Plumbing; Erik Stratton is the man. He knew what he was doing and gave us a better solution to access the gas line instead of breaking the fireplace concrete in the house. He was in and out within a few hours. We recently moved into a new home and immediately noticed a wet spot on the brick. Radiant came out and found two problems, a leak in the wall from a bad plumbing job from a different company, and a very bad belly sewer pipe under the house. We were so thankful for their assistance during a very difficult time. I want to give kudos to JR, Jonathan, and Matt for their expertise and guidance along the way. During a stressful time they were very calm and helped us navigate next steps. They were available to us whenever we needed them, even after hours during repairs.Also, to wrap up and correct a huge drywall hole from a plumbing repair, Tim Ferguson (aka Tim the Tool Man) saved the day! He was meticulous about his work and making sure the texture was perfect. He was clean and sealed everything up before starting work. He was so kind and walked me through all the steps he was taking. Excellent experience with Radiant. We previously used another local company for service but when they did not return our recent calls we contacted Radiant. Our technician, John, came out the same day within just a few hours. He thoroughly assessed our system and was incredibly professional. We elected to replace the unit and Radiant sent a specialist out, again within hours to help us determine the best replacement options. I have lived in Austin for nearly 30 years and have never received such incredible service and communication from a contractor. Right after Snowmaggedon, Radiant fixed multiple severe leaks resulting from the freeze. They were the most available plumber in town since the amount of freeze damage was overwhelming in Austin. The repairs were done efficiently, thoroughly, and cost-effectively. Their staff is both friendly, and professional. I have had no problems since the repairs, but recently needed a slight modification to relocate the position of one of the junctions at one of the repairs. They came by, listened carefully, and immediately modified the junction to perfectly position it to the needed location. They also refused to charge me for the modification. This is a level of service and professionalism that I have not experienced in a long time. Needless to say, they will be getting my business in the future.

This past Saturday, around 5:30, my wife discovered we had a bathroom leak that caused major damage in the bathroom, bedroom, and closet. We contact Radiant, as they advertised that they were 24/7, and we had Paul come out and take a look at the issue. He quickly found out that it was a broke backwater valve and removed it. He said that he would send over a specialist to make sure there was no other issues. Jedediah soon arrived and notice the backwater valve was broken as well. He then took a look at our bathroom, closet, and bedroom and notice where bubbling had began. He then recommended a restoration company to help us determine how bad the damage was. Both Paul and Jedediah, were quick, responsive, and thorough with their assessments and helped us solve an issue in a timely manner before it could get worse than it already was!

I recently had a radiant technician (Chris O.) come out to diagnose our homes heater not coming on. He was able to quickly find the problem and clean the part that was causing the issue. Aside from that, he did a very thorough job of inspecting our furnace and all related parts. He caught some areas of wear and tear that could cause the furnace to give out in the near future. He provided photos and videos of what he saw and an explanation of each part and why its important to get them fixed before its too late. One of the things that stood out was the level of carbon monoxide our heater was putting out into the house. He tested the levels in our bedroom with me present and I saw the indicators readings increasing. Something that a previous HVAC company we called out prior to Radiant didnt even bother checking. This was my first time using radiant, but the level of professionalism and thorough service the technician provided has put this company at the top of my list for any major HVAC needs I may have in the future.

Since than one of the nits has been leaking. I called customer service about and they send someone the same day. Fantastic. Was told they forgot to install a part. They will oder it and call me for time to install. That was 4 weeks ago. I have called mutiple times and have gotten nowhere. Most of the time I get transfered to the install department and sit on hold for 15 min + before I give up. After 2 weeks of the original call got a text saying part is being ordered. 1 -2 weeks. That was 2 weeks ago and still nothing. Checked on the unit today and now there is a huge hole in the side of it where the install team seems to have cut corners with a bad tape job. We had been wondering why it had been extra humid in our house and the unit didnt seem to cool as before. I called again, same story. Someone will call you tomorrow about these things. Frustration is at 8.5/10. Classic really. They took $22k and now crickets. I happy to change this rating once this is fixed and we are made whole. Picture to show the hole I was talking about and you can see that the drip pan that is 6 weeks is already rusting out do to the constant leak.

Five days later a leak detection company found the source, replicated the leak and are helping me move towards remediation. The technician was professional and courteous but in the end I wasted money and had to start over.

After having multiple people come out to fix the water heater unsuccessfully, Paul Ojeda with Radiant came out.. He correctly diagnosed the problems and made a plan to fix things. We upgrade to a newer model Navien after realizing how damaged the old unit was and he fixed all the prior ventilation, piping, roofing and gas flow errors. He coordinated with the roofer for us too. Paul is a master at troubleshooting. He made sure things were working great and we were happy. Paul was just wonderful, he’s also someone you’re happy to have in your house. After the time and attention he put into making sure our water got running properly, we’ll only have Paul out from now on! He even signed the two by four next to water heater in the spirt of taking ownership of his work.

It was not a functional issue, but an installation issue from 3 years ago that created a error code. Brendan saw it right away, showed me the issue and corrected it. He was apologetic and assured me that it did not affect the functionality of the instant on water heater. He also stated that the employee is no longer with Radient. I appreciate Brendens honesty and explained that even though the unit was out of warranty, there was no charge. He also helped me understand and set the recirculation function of my Navien instant water heater. I would welcome Brenden in my home for any additional plumbing repairs. He gets a 5 Star rating and I would recommend Radient for any plumbing needs.

My issue is the expense of the job for digging a 1 ft.² hole, cutting a pipe and capping it. They spent an hour here. And the expense was ridiculously high in my opinion. I like Radiant because they were here within two hours of making the appointment and of course I like the two guys that showed up. I was charged $660 for the work.

Kevin did an excellent job finding a sneaky leak we had in a wall at our office. He was able to find a tiny trail of water resulting from poor work that was done when the building was built 4 years ago resulting in a small leak when it rained causing a big mess! While he had to cut out a large square of sheetrock, he fixed the issue with as little damage to the wall as possible. He was quick and thorough with lots of pictures so I could see exactly what was happening. The office was clean when Kevin left and the hole was covered with plastic. Kevin was kind and knowledgeable and I was impressed with his work. Overall, very pleased.

We had the AC unit replaced. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They went the extra mile to be sure everything was explained on how to use the new controls. We like the fact that the control can be accessed via a phone App. Love it.We also had the hot water heater replaced and a water softener/ filtration system Installed. Shane was great. He was very knowledgeable and friendly.Finally, Jedediah and Grant took care of a clogged drain. They were great as well. Our experience with Radiant has been great. I would highly recommend this company to anyone in need. WAY TO GO.

Zak and Yuri -- both very friendly -- with Radiant did a professional job installing a new water heater for us. They made sure to prep the area where the old unit had leaked. Upgraded to copper piping, and added a little lighting kit for better visibility. Cut the drywall at my request to inspect for potential damage. We also had a new toilet installed at the same time, and on that they went above and beyond to take care of an extra problem. They arrived on time, good communication throughout, and cleaned up before leaving. I would recommend Zak and Yuri at Radiant to friends and family.

Our plumber Drake was very personable and answered all of my questions. We walked around to various fixtures troubleshooting solutions and found one that worked without cutting holes in my walls and wasn’t too expensive. I had an old box on our outside wall that the line broke on so he disconnected it from the water heater inside & capped the lines on the outside. He gave me 2 quotes for other future work. I highly recommend this company and Drake Rollins.

Wow! What an amazing plumbing company. The best in Austin for sure. They are not the cheapest but it shows in the quality of their work. I rather pay a little more for better service. Paul Ojeda the master plumber and Paul his apprentice did an amazing job for us. They were super professional and did all of our repairs efficiently and perfectly. We decided to get a new tankless water heater installed in our garage. The install and removal of the old heater went very smoothly. Zak and Scott we very helpful and impressively efficient.
