    A.C. stopped working. I called Nickā€™s/Dun-Rite in Plano, TX. The dispatcher was a pleasure to talk to. She sent Garrison that same day and kept me posted concerning his arrival time. He arrived on time, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it. Excellent work by everyone. This group is professional, courteous, and competent. I highly recommend them.

    I initially contacted Nick to get a second opinion on an AC Replacement proposal that I had received from another vendor. Nick was nice, never short with me, and even explained items better than the other vendor had! After several delays and many new cost being added on to my proposal with the other vendor, I began to lose confidence in a quality and successful replacement of my AC systemā€¦ So I called Nick.Nick was never pushy, always explained everything, was honest, and upon my request he offered me a new proposal to replace my AC system. Nick gave a fair quote, provided a product with a warranty, and was able to get the parts required with no delay, which was important considering we had been waiting for quite some time and it is a HOT summer.On the installation day, Nickā€™s team was on time, very fast to do the job, and polite. They didnā€™t leave until I was satisfied.I would highly recommend Nickā€™s AC for any and all AC, Heating services or installations.

    Had my AC unit stop working, found these guys online and they had tons of great reviews and now I know why. Nick had his guy Rick call me immediately and he showed up at my house within a half hour. He was very nice and professional the entire time. He was able to diagnose that I had a bad capacitor on my unit very quickly and he replaced it. Inside 1 hour from when I called them my AC was up and running again and I avoided having to sleep in a crazy hot house again. Absolutely fantastic service and great people! Theyve earned my business for sure! Ive used several different AC services in the past and these guys are top notch!!

    Second time that Nick has helped us with AC problems. Fast response both times, excellent!! He sent Aaron out today, and he was great! Very knowledgeable and personable.     Back in May our AC was starting to have issues so we called Nickā€™s and got an immediate response. Instead of using high pressure sales techniques, he walked us through some solutions that would get our AC running again, through his help we got our AC running without needing a visit. A few months later our 20+ year old unit finally quit on us and because of his genuine service a few months prior we chose to have Nickā€™s Air replace our unit. They were able to schedule us and have the unit completely replaced within two days. Now we have super cold AC in the hottest days of summer. Thanks again for the great service!

    I used Nicks air for the first time yesterday and was very pleased not only with their ability to repair my furnace but with their customer service. I called them at about noon and Nick sent out one of his technicians, Jeremy later in the afternoon to diagnose my problem. Jeremy was very nice, investigated my issue, and even captured a short video to show me exactly what was happening with my furnace. He was able to fix it quickly and for a reasonable price. I will be using Nicks air in the future and they really do deserve their high rating here on google as well as on Yelp.

    Excellent Service! I wished I could give 10 starts. I highly recommend this company. This was the best experience I ever had with any company; great customer service and price. One of my coworker used Nickā€™s Air Services in the past and she told me a lot of good stuff about him. Nick came to my house on the same day I called him. He gave me the best quote. Nick will only give you what you need and not try to sell you something you donā€™t need. He is very honest person and compassionate with what he is doing. He took his time and explained everything regarding the unit and the process. The installers were amazing too. They were very professional and polite. They took their time with my questions and answered everything in detail. I have porcelain tile on my floors, so I was little nervous, but they took care it like their own home. I am glad I did business with Nick and will always call him for any AC issues. If you need new AC or service, definitely call him before making a decision; you will not regret it.     These guys are the best in the business!My air conditioning went out over the weekend and they came out right away, diagnosed and had the part really fast.     My AC recently died in my townhouse and given the extremely hot and humid temperatures we are experiencing in Dallas, I needed to get it fixed immediately.I called Nicks Air Services and they got back to us right away, and had guys out to my townhouse to assess the situation the next business day (keep in mind all of this was happening over Labor Day weekend, which to my astonishment, Nicks Air Services was extremely timely in response).After they assessed the situation at hand, they had guys over the very next day to install new AC units, which is amazing. From time of calling to installation of new AC units is under a week (fantastic).Jeff from Nicks Air Services, as well as his whole installment team, have truly been life-savers. I cannot recommend him and this company enough - very professional and great, hard-working guys.I would definitely recommend to anyone in need of any AC unit work.

    When we walked in our bedroom and the temp was rising we freaked out a little. We called nicks air services and they were here next morning since it was after hours. They did such an amazing job and found the issue right away! Cleaned our coils and now we should be good to go and our electricity bill should be way lower now!     Exceptional customer service and support!!!. I am always nervous about having to call for service on major home repairs or appliances because you just never know if you are going to get taken advantage of. My service call today, was such a pleasant experience. Nick answered my call on the first ring and had his technician Robert scheduled to my home in no time on the same day. Wow, the customer service just gets even better!!! Robert was so knowledgeable and transparent. He explained my issue thoroughly and reviewed all of my options. I didnt feel pressured to rush in my decision. This is the kind of experience I wish I could have every time I need to review and make major repair decisions. Nicks Air Services has been added to my top 5 list and I will definitely pass them over to family and friends as referrals.     Murphyā€™s Law your air-conditioning goes out Friday night 5 PM itā€™s 100Ā°. Thank God for my angles at Nicks Air! Iā€™m sweating in spots I didnā€™t know I had.We have had the privilege now for several years working with in my opinion most honest decent kind and understanding air-conditioning company in Texas! A lot of businesses today have forgotten what itā€™s like to do business with the every day normal average joe.     After discovering a clogged line leading to my attic system, I paid for the repair. Following the repair I noted heavy rust on the coil. I sought several quotes from other businesses, which wouldnt provide me a simple quote. I contacted Nick, who asked for photos of the system and the problem I was experiences. Nick quickly explained the problem, the fix and what it would cost. No additional cost or surprises. Nicks knowledge of the problem was on the spot, since I had already received several quotes. Nicks pricing was better than the other quotes by far. Nicks team arrived on-time and went right to work. The two technicians were professional and fixed the problem.     We had one the three units in our house give out last week. Got an AC company to come out and they really tried to push us to get all the units replaced for a massive price and used a lot of strategy to scare us into replacing all even though i could see only one was not working. I was suspicious and googled to look for another provider. I found NICKs AIR online and scheduled an appointment with them.Nicks Air is night and day amazing service compared to others we have encountered. Not only did they inspect all units, they accurately diagnosed that all two of them needed was a filter change and one unit was needing replacement. The price they quoted was way more competitive than others and they promised an installation time that was spot on. The entire crew that came for the install was so professional. Once all of this was done I needed some help with the thermostat and even though it was a few days later they happily did it at no charge extra. In the Texas summer when HVAC units just give out or have issues commonly its easy to spend a lot of money but with Nicks I have found a very honest and good provider that truly wants to just help and build a solid reputation.I will be referring them to all my friends and family.

    Nicks Air service is awesome! After initially calling another HVAC company to do semi annual check up on my main AC system. That company said I needed to buy a $400.00 part to just keep my system running through the summer with no guarantee. I called NIck for a second opinion and Nick answered the phone himself, spent over 20 minutes with me explaining the situation and even though my house was not in his service area had his lead tech at my house by the early afternoon the next day. His lead tech Aaron was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and explained everything he was doing. Aaron found nothing wrong with my A/C system and only charged me a $75.00 service fee!Nicks Air Services are honest, trustworthy, and know what they are doing. I would recommend them to anyone!

    When I purchased my home two years ago I had outdated air conditioner and furnace. i had a company come out and they told me I needed a whole new unit. I listened stupidly and bought a new unit but a few months later I didnt have air conditioning! I called Nicks and they came out and fixed it. They were honest and fair and I have called them for every problem since then. They dont sugar coat it but they deliver top notch service. They go above and beyond my expectations every single time. I really should buckle down and get a new furnace, but until I do, Nicks is my go-to for every heating and air problem I have. I would never call anyone else. Dragon is by far my best tech, he is courteous and always gives me a heads up when he is on his way. He doesnt care that my house is a mess or if I was an idiot and tried to fix it myself, he really just wants what is best for his clients and he always makes sure Im happy before he leaves. Best place to go!

    The first time we called Nicks Air, we were relieved when the service technician suggested an inexpensive alternative to replacing the aging system. He said it could work for a month or for years. About a year later, when that fix no longer worked, we knew it was time for a new HVAC system. We got several quotes. Nicks Air offered the best service -- and the best price. We never felt like they were trying to inflate the price or sell us expensive parts or services we didnt need. Nick came through for us again this week when we needed assistance with the unit. We recommend Nicks to anyone.

    We initially contacted Nicks Air Services after some recommendations from friends.From the symptoms the A/C had short cycling we thought it may have been an issue related to a refrigerant leak, and Nicks AC is one of the few companies that offers to weld shut leaks if its in a fixable location.We called after hours over the weekend after our A/C started suddenly short cycling in the evening. Chris the manager gave us a call back quickly and talked to us personally and was able to schedule us quickly.Chris came out and long story short there was no refrigerant leak, the short cycling was due to one of the drain pipes not clearing all the way. He checked the pressure and for any signs of a leak but everything looked good.It turns out the previous A/C company may have lied to us about the leak and used it as an excuse to add additional items to increase the bill.Chris was very professional and took his time to answer our questions, I would highly recommend Nicks Air Services and will be using them for all my needs in the future.

    We bought our first house this past year, and the HVAC system was older/outdated and functional...until it wasnt. The compressor seized during a cold snap, and while we had the emergency heat, that was an expensive option to use. I was calling around to get quotes on replacing the part (if possible) and reached Nicks.Nick himself came out the same day to see if he could get it going without having to replace the part, with no charge if he couldnt. He gave us some options for how to proceed when it became obvious that the compressor was truly dead, and we ended up going with a new HVAC system. They came and installed it the next day, done in around 4 hours, with great service and a better price than the other businesses out there.I would recommend Nicks without pause - responsive, understanding, quality work, great information so you can make an informed choice, and just all-around pleasant to deal with. Theyve got customers for life.

    If you want excellent customer service look no further. I am from the older generation where I remember what customer service is suppose to be. Nick is one of the few companies that actually practices excellent customer service. We needed a whole new unit in 2015. Nick himself came to our home. Went over all the options and answered all our questions and believe me I have a lot of questions. Dragon and his team came and installed the unit. Installation was smooth and they came back a few days later to follow up and make sure everything was perfect. The price was excellent too! We had shopped a few companies and Nick was priced well and did not try to sell us anything we did not need. Today 7.18.2017 we needed service due to power surge in home burnt out the a switch on unit. It happens here all the time. Power grid not big enough for our neighborhood. He squeezed us in and fixed the problem in less than 30 minutes. It is a miracle during this time of year. Needless to say, Nick continues excellent service even after install. He is a rare find. Look no further this is the company you want for all your AC needs. I put the same review on Yelp but fixed my typos here...lol

    I found Nicks Air through Yelp. I chose them because they are a local independent shop and they had a number of positive reviews.I needed help replacing a failing AC capacitor and I wanted the other components of my system checked out as well.Chris is the technician who helped me- very friendly and professional. I let him know ahead of time that I had a sleeping baby in the house and he took extra precaution to be quiet.Chris worked quickly and had the job done in 20 minutes. He also helped educate me along the way about the different components of my system.In the end, I ended up paying much less than I expected and I genuinely felt like Chris cared about making sure my family was comfortable.The whole experience really couldnt have gone any better. I will definitely be calling them again if I ever need more HVAC help.

    Where do I start. I will always be grateful to this company for their honesty, support and all the help they gave me. I was having cooling problems with my air-conditioning unit and had another company coming to the house provided by my home insurance. The other company had to come three times and when they did the last time they started mentioning all these problems with my airconditioner and to make the story short I knew they were not telling my the truth and trying to take advantage of me so I decided to consult another company and verify my suspicions. I started to search and read reviews after reviews until thank God I found Nickā€™s Air Services. Sure enough, Nick went step by step with me and at the end the only thing wrong with it was the outside copper insulation tape that was half gone. In a weather of 100 plus degrees of course poor insulation affects the unit. The other company was trying to convince me to change my coil and possibly buying a new unit which was not necessary and would not say what exactly was wrong with it. Something inside me told me they were lying to my face. Iā€™m glad I called Nickā€™s Air which was truthful from the beginning and told me quickly what was the problem with it. They know their business, are very professional and most importantly Iā€™m so impressed by their honesty, something hard to find now days. Thank you for everything!!!

    Yesterday one of our AC units started blowing warm air and the outside unit wouldnt come on. I called NIcks last night and, since it wasnt an emergency, I asked if they could come out this morning. They said theyd call at 9:00am. At 9:06am I got a call from them telling me he was on his way - already a positive experience. He got here, looked at the unit and had it fixed within 5 minutes. Fantastic! The only (minor) issue I had is that he looked at it, fixed it, and then came to the door telling me how much it cost and gave me a bill. He really shouldve diagnosed the problem, told me how much it would be and then asked if I was OK with him fixing it instead of him just going ahead and performing the fix and then telling me how much I had to pay. I was going to need it fixed so its not a huge deal but that was an odd experience. Otherwise, it was great and Ill be using Nicks again. Getting it fixed that quickly was great.

    After having a terrible experience with another AC company that our warranty company assigned to us, we had Dragon and his team come out and perform our repairs. Dragon had done work for us in the past at our previous home and I knew this repair would be done correctly if he did it. Repairs aside, we have health issues and need to have our HVAC up and running at optimal performance just about year round. I say this just to make a point. There are other companies that can do repairs but not all companies have superb customer service. Not all companies have technicians that care about the customer. Not all companies really listen when you explain the problem. Many companies will tell you one thing and do another. Dragon came, he listened, he diagnosed, he performed.     When I say Nicks Air Services sets the standard for great service, its no joke. When you start with disappointment from another company and finish off with utter happiness, then this is the company for you. The AC company I called before tried quoting me $3000 more than what was needed especially on items that he claimed were not working anymore. Also the repairman called a consultant in to try and sell me a new AC while the repairman tried to find other problems.Several hours had been wasted through the day with a broken AC still. Luckily after friend recommended his buddy Dragan, who worked for Nicks to come in and take a look. He was there in less than 30 minutes after a last minute call for him to come take a look. He came by and checked out the AC only to find that the motor was blown and there were no other problems. Then to take it one step further, he called into the AC brand customer service to check if my motor was still in warranty, and luckily its still good for another few years. He comes back and says all we need is to change out the motor, its still in warranty and he will pick it up tomorrow, come back to change it out and only charge for labor.Right as the morning came, he called and was on his way to install the motor. 20 minutes later, we have a cool AC working again.So lets go down the list and solidify why this company is the best.*Fast response time*Repair whats needed and not a salesman*Extra attention to detail*Quick replacement turn around*Best of all, great customer service.

Dragan is a super awesome guy, he went out of his way several times to first inspect the unit, review our options and final inspection once the installation was made.     I needed a new HVAC system and after checking reviews around the area, so I called Nick. I can say I could not have found a better company. They are extremely professional, honest and extremely nice.Before they put in the system, Dragan and Alex came out to take some measurements and explain how things would take place on the day of the installation. It was a 1 day project, and their team came in at 9:30 am and was out at 5:30. I was so impressed by them, I had them work on my Dads house too. Really great guys , I highly recommend them !

    I had a great experience with Nicks and with Aleks this weekend. We called on a Saturday morning and he had us back up and running the same day. We some HVAC experience and was appreciative that he didnā€™t talk down to us, he didnā€™t try to sell us a coil cleaning or up sell us but gave us great service and even helped explain some things to our tenant on the property that Id consider above and beyond. Iā€™ll call Nicks the next time we have AC issues.

    Friday afternoon 5pm, 95 degrees. It was starting to get a little warm at the ranch, so I set the A/C to chill. Nothing but a gentle hum from my unit greeting me. I pick up the phone and call Nicks Air thinking Id get some answering service with a call returned later that night or next day - instead, it was the legend himself (Nick). He asked a few questions and then said he was on the way to take a look at my unit - this is around 6pm on Friday. We were able to get the unit to stay on for most of that night, but it decided to finally give up the ghost of Texas past early Sat morning. I pick up the phone at 8am on Sat again thinking answering service. Instead, its Nick again (does the guy ever sleep?). We decide that we are going to have to get a new furnace unit up there today. Remember this is a Sat morning in August in Texas. I thought there was no way to get a crew to deliver over a weekend on the same day! But, they were able to deliver that unit installed by 5pm on Sat - wow Im a believer!

    Nicks Air Services is AWESOME! I got on Angies List and called three top AC companies when my system stopped blowing cold air. None of the companies could get to me within a week. So I got on Yelp and did a search for my zip code. Nicks popped up with excellent ratings. I called and Nick himself answered. His technician Dragan was at my house within an hour and had my system fixed in 20 minutes. I wont ever call anyone else.

    Nick helped me with replacing the outdoor units and coils after a hail storm. It was an insurance claim and they paid the lowest of 3 bids I gave them. Nicks beat everyone on price, equipment quality and service levels. Dragan is an A/C guru and total professional. the crews were courteous and respectful of my property, and they replaced all 3 units in less than a day. Everything was checked immediately, passed inspection the first time and I think they even did a few little extra things not included on the invoice. And they handled everything from city permits, warranty set up and were patient as we waited for the insurance to send the payment. They made the experience easy for me and my family.

    Nicks just came out because my unit had stopped working. It was huffing and puffing without actually turning on. Wed already been told we needed to replace the unit, and should expect to have to pay thousands to do so. After looking it over, the service technician told us that the solution was a spray can of adhesive to stop the insulation in our Payne unit from blocking the air flow. He was courteous and respectful and literally saved us thousands of dollars, instead of taking advantage of our situation and general lack of knowledge. I could not recommend Nicks Air Services more!

    We had been having issues with our AC tripping our breaker repeatedly, and finally decided to call someone out to take a look. Based on reviews, we called Nicks Air Services, and we could not have had a better experience! Turns out, a mouse had gotten into our external unit and tore up the compressor. They came out in the morning (on Saturday), the same day we called. We werent sure if we were still under warranty, and the technician took care of looking into for us. We received a call first thing Monday morning, and AC was back up and running perfectly before noon. We could not be happier with the service we received. Very highly recommended for your A/C needs!

    OMG, late in the day on Saturday. Spoke directly with Nick, he was able to send tech out in like 30 mins. Josh was super. He was a pro and kind and didnt mind me micromanaging his work.     What you need to know about Nick: 30 years experience in Plano, honest, compassionate, on phone personally 24/7, has the expertise to make sure you only pay for what you need. The most Christ-like business owner I have encountered in a long time.I had stitches and could not work or pay him, I have 1982 GE heat/air inside closet, by phone for several hours, between his own business phone calls, he was generous to help me fix, diagnose a thermostat problem. He referred a wonderful person to help me since he was 10 days out covered with work. We texted. I sent photos of thermostat for him to tell me which model number would be best choice and talked. He encouraged me when I thought it would be a very expensive problem.He told me it must be properly diagnosed, as it may just be a very small problem, which it was. I was able to do research online and understand the problem I had w/ wires that effect thermostat and transformer. I could have been ripped off by other people who would just put in thermostat and transformer would keep going out if not check the wiring first. I was able to intelligently tell the person who came out to check every wire w/ a meter. They tightened some loose wires, found a burnt one and clipped and fixed it. Installed a thermostat that Nick recommended I get. He even told me a site where I could order parts if needed. He explained in detail every step of the way. He is so, giving and loving, a joy, a pleasure to work with. If I had a dishonest person out here, they would have tried to sell me a whole new unit for thousands of dollars. I see why he gets such good reviews! Hands down, he is the best, most qualified for any job that his business does. God bless you, Nick!! You are an amazing man of God!Today, Nicks foreman Dragon returned my call for help. He told me the price for the service call, the 3 possible reasons for the problem with the pilot light going out. He told me yes, as I suspected was the air coming down from the attic that blew out the pilot light. So, I was able to get a nextdoor friend to re-light it for me.     How many times you come across a business where an owner picks up the call on Friday at 7:00 PM ?My AC stopped blowing cold air on Friday at 5:00 PM and the fan on outside unit stopped spinning.I called multiple companies and the earliest they could show up was Saturday afternoon.One of the company showed up in the next 2 hrs but quoted me ridiculous price, trying to take advantage of thesituation.I called Nicks Air and Nick picked up the call asked question about my fan motor , model , spec etc.He had tech call me next morning at 9:00 AM and got the motor my unit needed. Told me the price on the phone and that was less than other quotes I received.The tech came out and fixed the issue in no time. He was knowledgeable and friendly.Dont fall for big names, their call center and their mobile app or mobile billing/invoicing. I have experienced multiple companies in plano/frisco area and Nicks Air is the best.Nicks Air will be my go to company for my AC/heating needs going forward.

    I called Nicks, because of the overwhelmingly positive reviews I read on Yelp and was not disappointed. Our AC wasnt cooling the house very well, and we thought the system needed recharging. Dragan came out and checked the entire system, outside and in the attic. He showed me in detail what the problem was - multiple leaks in the cooling coil part of the unit and the pan was about to overflow into the ceiling below - Dragan took care of the overflow situation right away and cleared the line. To put it simply, the AC unit was cooling a lot of the attic space, instead of the house.The repair turned out to be a lot more than what we had thought it would be, however, as a consumer I felt more than comfortable and educated about the necessity of the repair that Nicks proposed and the price more than fair and reasonable. I like to think that I am a good judge of character and competence and at no time did I feel pressured or BSd into having unnecessary work done. The conversation was straight forward and transparent and we agreed to contract with Nicks to do the repairs. The lead time between the diagnostic visit and the repair/installation was just two days, and Dragans communication was exceptional throughout the entire process. In fact the level of communication for the entire job has been a benchmark of excellence; its clear that this is a strong values-based organization, with integrity. Part of the installation required contracting an electrician. Nicks recommended an electrician - McCulloch Electric; another organization that provided an exceptional experience.The installers were timely and respectful. Having random people in your home requires trust, and I felt at ease that the individuals in my home were trustworthy. Furthermore the installers were clean, efficient and purposeful - they worked accounting for every moment and did an exceptional job. Communication with the techs during the installation was also exceptional and the work was completed to a high degree of exactness and fidelity. Final payment was not expected on completion of the install, but after Dragan followed up and checked the quality of the work with me.I would recommend no other AC firm over Nicks Air Services. While Im hoping we dont have to call them for a while, Im glad and relieved to have found an organization that takes pride in their work and reputation. It takes a whole lot to go from good to great, and our experience with Nicks has been great! I feel comfortable that should I need to, I can rely on Nicks to provide honest, reliable, fair and competent service again.

    These guys are great! Overall, very pleased. I thought the furnace in my 5 Ton unit was done after some repairs made by another company. I called Nicks just to get an installation quote on a new 5 Ton unit (have to shop for quotes on things that cost thousands); I was given a very competitive quote. Then, some minutes later, Dragan called and said he was asked to follow-up and get specifics on my problem. He came by that evening and diagnosed the problem relatively quickly: control board not sending signal to gas valve. He got a new board and replaced it the next day. All working perfectly now! Dragan knows his business.

    My mom recently did business with a different HVAC company (not Nick). Mom has been screwed out of a large amount of money by the other company....her (new) a/c system is still not functional, and the new furnace is incorrectly sized. The owner of that company is attempting to extort more money from her and refuses to fix the problems they are responsible for. Mom and I have documented issues that have taken place throughout the service work. In an effort to understand the situation from another (more well rated and experienced) professional perspective, I decided to contact different HVAC companies to get their insight if they were willing. I did not expect much since we did not hire them originally. Nick was the first one I called.I shared the issues with Nick and I was blown away by his level of service and comprehensive knowledge. Nick was sympathetic and helpfully explained regulatory processes and HVAC system requirements. He told me how he would have handled the situation from the get-go to the finish. It reconfirmed my thoughts that the original company mom hired was unprofessional, dishonest, and inexperienced.Nick had nothing to gain from our phone call, as a bulk of the work had already been completed by the other company (with problematic results). Yet, he took around 20 minutes of his time to help me understand everything. I truly wish mom had used Nick instead. If we have HVAC service work needs in the future, we will definitely hire Nick!     I should have written this a few months ago , but due to holidays just getting to it. My heater stopped working on one of the coldest days of the year, I called two Air services both told me I needed a new furnace, costing approx. 2,500 . I went ahead and got a third estimate - Nicks Air Services. The service tech came out very quickly and found the problem was I needed a new mother board, not a furnace at all. The cost would be approx. 450.00 . Of course I hired them. When he returned to replace the mother board he informed me the one I needed was only $360.00. Who does that in todays time? I can not say enough good things about this company . Very honest . Nick the owner went so far as to tell me if it turned out it was not the mother board he would apply the $360.00 I spent towards a furnace. It has been 3 months since the service and I have had no problems . It was NOT a 2,500 job, but a mere $360.00. Thank you to Aleks the tech that diagnosed the problem accurately ,but more then that honestly! Thank you to Nick who runs an A+ business!

    Both of our units have not been producing cool air and decided to give Nicks Air Service a try as he was recommended highly by all the neighbors. This is July 23rd and it is 105 outside so I knew I would have to wait my turn in line. I cant believe it but Nicks Air showed up a few hours after I called. I am so shocked at how thorough NIcks employee Dragan is as he has already replaced our filter and found out we needed 4 not 1 filters for our unit. He also tape up some holes near our return in the attic as we were losing about 3 degrees between return and air flow. We also needed a lot of refrigerant too. Im truly impressed and his employee isnt slowing down. Isnt here to chat, didnt take the water bottle I offered, especially after being in the attic. I have never seen an employee work so hard. Did find out some other items we may want to have fixed in the fall, which is something we knew had to be done, but found out Dragan is the designer too for the systems. Here in Plano if your house was built in the 80s, the builders just turned everything sideways and put HVAC systems where they could. we ended up with holes in some of our duct from the roofers. Will be calling them in the fall to redesign the HVAC.

    When we moved in to our home our A/C unit would turn fan on/off constantly like it didnt know whether to run or not. Called Nicks and Dragan came out to work on the problem. He diagnosed it as a control board issue (or something like that)... found out that unit was installed recently enough for warranty, and then went out and got the new board and returned to install. Immediately fixed the problem.Since then weve signed up for regular maintenance and Dragan comes out in Spring to service and clean unit for summer use, and again in the Fall to check and service in prep for heating use.Dragan is extremely quick to respond and is proactive in calling to setup times for the maintenance service (its not a pay ahead, you just when he services). Ive been extremely please with the service. Would highly recommend these guys (though Ive only dealt with Dragan - not Nick).

    Wow what a great first experience! I called when I noticed something was wrong with my AC unit. Dragan was there within 30 minutes (not expected all the time, just lucky this time). 40 minutes later my AC was working and was charged a very reasonable rate. Will definitely use them again!

    We were without gas so no heat or hot water on a Friday night. Trying to find a plumber on a Saturday was like trying to find a needle in a haystack. My daughter found Nicks on Yelp. I called them and the owner answered. Said he would have one of his technicians call us. Needless to say we had heat and hot water bythe end of the day! Dragan was very professional and knowledgeable and went above and beyond by going into the attic to clean out the vent above the hot water heater so it would pass inspection. We are very satisfied with their service.

    Called about an issue with my AC and got a response within 20 minutes. The technician that came out, Dragan, was able to diagnose the problem and provide an immediate and contingency solution within minutes. His initial fix worked but he was still ready and willing to return and have another crack at it if necessary. I have used a number of different places over the years and this is by far the best. I will be using them for any future HVAC issues.

    Amazing service!They were able to come out on same day to look at our air conditioning unit! They removed shoes everytime they came in and used tarps underneath attic to keep everything clean and neat! They were also super quiet during my kids naptimes which was very very appreciated!     I cant say enough great things about this company!My HVAC unit crapped out on me on Friday.I called this company at 9 PM on a Friday and Nick answered and spoke with me.He had his guys come out ON A SATURDAY to check & see what was going on.Dragan called me to schedule around what time I wanted.He & Alex came out to investigate and took pictures of what was going on in my attic. Offered to take me to see with my own eyes.Everything was explained to me on possible root cause. Every question I had about generic parts versus OEM parts was explained. Financing options were explained to me along with manufactures they use.Monday morning I got another call to tell me parts were located with cost. By Monday afternoon, everything has been fixed. They even noticed the grounding wire was not connected and remedied that!They did not try to up-sell, they just explained everything and offered recommendations.Also had a discussion with them about ductwork. I am absolutely going to use this company again! Definitely recommended!
