Had them come out on Dec 11th for an issue I had with my heater. They came out same day and proceeded to tell me that some insulation had fallen and that was causing my burning smell and my unit to cease working. 5 days later of them coming to check my unit, Saturday morning I noticed again the same burning smell. They are closed Saturday and Sunday so no worries I understand everyone has their schedule. I was pleased that Ian the owner called me promptly this morning at 8:03am to ask what the reason for my missed call was. Ian sent out the team right away to remedy the situation and was willing to work with my warranty that I have on my unit. My unit is fully functional as of now and Ian has provided me with clarity on what was performed and what warranty I have on the recently replaced parts. The most professional HVAC company Ive worked with. They provided me with a full diagnostics of my HVAC unit issues. Prior to calling them I had requested 3 service visits from other locally owned companies. After inspecting my unit, those competitors provided me with full unit replacement estimates, they said there was no other option. Longhorns technicians said all I needed was a new capacitor and a properly wired motor; saving me over $5,452 in replacement costs. Their honesty and product knowledge has made me a loyal customer!

I lucked into this company by doing a Google search for AC repair over the summer when my unit broke down in the “peak of heat” we all love and hate here in El Paso. Longhorn Maintenance had a lot of great reviews so I gave them a call. Ian showed up right on time, was courteous, professional, knowledgeable and completely prepared for the work that needed to be done on both of the AC units at my house. To be honest, the units are old and I really thought they were going to need to be replaced which I was dreading because of the expense that would be involved BUT to my surprise, Ian brought them both back to life and they work great! Very professional work and high quality materials. They arrived on the day of the appointment and promised to finish the heater and AC installation by end of day. They completed the work a few hours ahead of schedule and cleared out all the old equipment we no longer needed. This is really what made me call them.However I definitely appreciated Ian and his crew at the company who were super professional, prompt and just knowledgeable regarding what I was looking for. Absolutely outstanding experience. They completed a complicated install in just a few days, upgrading our HVAC with a top of the line system that performs excellently. Professional throughout. This time our almost 12yrs refrigerated unit is reaching the end of its life and when it started making a louder than usual noise we called Longhorn. They came same day and checked our unit and gave us options from repairing the current unit to replacing for a better more efficient unit.Unfortunately right now the times are hard to get a new one but they repaired the unit and placed a new motor while we can make arrangements for a complete new Refrigerated unit.They were on time, productive and even went above with the service . THIS COMPANY IS AMAZING!!! We have a rent house in El Paso and got quotes from several companies for a conversion from a swamp cooler to refrigerated air. We worked with Ian, who is extremely professional, responsive, trustworthy, and made the process a breeze. To start, the products that this company has are the amongst the best brands in the industry (we got a Rheem unit installed). The other companies actually quoted us higher prices for less reliable units. He originally quoted us for ductwork and a new unit. After getting there and digging into the work, Ian called me and told me that after looking into it further and tearing into the sheetrock that we actually do not need new ducts and that we will actually save a significant amount of money. I was so happy with his honesty and integrity! We do not live in El Paso, so it felt so good to have such a trustworthy company that was upfront and honest without just trying to make a buck here and there. He also helped us by calling and scheduling things with the tenants, being flexible with how we could pay (we do not live in the area), and he always kept me in the loop on everything going on. He would always answer the phone, and me photos, and be super responsive to all text messages. It gave us a huge peace in our hearts to know that he was in El Paso managing the situation for us and making the process very simple for us on our end. This company is among the best that we have ever worked with. Words cannot describe how thankful we are to have met Ian and we are so happy with the service! Highly Recommend! We have used Longhorn Maintenance for a variety of things. Twice a year they provide maintenance on our heaters, and have fixed multiple heaters as well. They have repaired the AC units on top of our warehouse. I have also personally had Ian and his crew install refrigerated air at my grandmas house. Longhorn Maintenance always does the job correctly. They use the right kind of materials for the job, and since they do not cut corners, you will definitely have peace of mind when they are finished.
