Absolutely the best. Jon looked at AC unit and said let me remove these panels… uh oh… we’re gonna do some deep cleaning! Best way to make sure AC unit can breath easier and reduce my bill. Glad I called.Part II AC has been running in this heat wave pretty consistently. Well tonight (after hours Friday Night) my indoor blower unit decided to act up. High pitched whining sound and then no air. It attempted to kick on but after several attempts I turned it off to cool down and I then called Jon who was working and agreed to come trouble shoot my issue. Jon was able to get it running again but cautioned it needed some replacement parts as it was still making noise and was slow to start. I thanked Jon and asked my Warranty Company to assign any repair work to Jon. I mean where else does a Service Tech arrive at 1100 at night in a heat wave! I’d give him more stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ but 5 is max! Indoor blower motor apparently on its last leg, praying warranty work is approved and assigned to this trusted technician! If you have an issue call them, they show up and provide unparalleled service.PartIII. Replaced my indoor blower fan during the recent heat wave. I asked for quick diagnosis and got one at 1100pm (on call) on Fri night after the fan began squealing. I have a home warranty and after they sorted it out Jon quickly made the repairs. I would recommend their business to anyone! My outdoor A/C fan motor went out at around 9pm. I called and the owner was very helpful in getting a tech dispatched as quickly as possible. The tech was at my home at 9:45pm and had the home cooling again by 10pm. Colby was fantastic, fast, efficient, knowledgeable, and it was just a great customer service experience from start to finish while services were being completed. Their timely response and quick repair made the night much smoother. Their pricing is fair, especially for an after hours call out. When asking about additional services, Colby was knowledgeable and walked me through the process and pricing for duct cleaning to give me a better idea of what the service would look like moving forward. Will be using them again in the future and would recommend them if you have any AC or heating needs.

The owner of the company stopped by my residence to look at my old unit & answer a few questions about the quote I was given. I decided to go with his company. I was contacted promptly and given an agreed upon instillation date. A couple days later my old unit stopped working (a 25 year old Trane) so I called to see if it was possible to move up my installation date on the new unit. They offered to move the date up before I asked and the next working day came out and installed the new Trane unit. Trane is a great product. A unit that lasted 25 years speaks for itself. The employees who installed the unit were professional, knowledgeable & friendly. I had an all around great experience dealing with this company & highly recommend them.

Lone Star HVAC did an excellent job working with us fixing a 2.5 year old mini-split system that they didnt install. The whole team worked with us to insure that we got parts under warranty from the manufacturer including several trips to our house to take pictures and provide information the manufacturer demanded. The technician was extremely knowledgeable and we were always notified when to expect them on-site. Highly recommend.

Initially had to call on 7/21(a Sunday morning!) and they promptly came out, got our unit up and running, and were able to diagnose the issue and get a quote for the needed work. Very professional, top notch service and reasonably priced—even with it being after-hours.They installed our new exterior unit and evaporator coil on 7/24 and even with some rain that day, had everything installed and back in operation in just about 4 hours. Again, a very knowledgeable and professional crew.We later decided to upgrade the cross-over ducting under our house to help with longevity and efficiency of our unit after having some issues with the original crossover that has been installed originally with the house and just as before, they promptly scheduled the estimate, and once it was approved, they came right out and got everything taken care of. Our house now has much better air flow and no more giant crossover hanging on the ground under the house.If you need HVAC work, definitely give them a call! They will always be our first call for ours. And make sure to ask about their maintenance program to help keep your unit running at its best!

I could not be more highly impressed with the work Jon and Brandon did on my HVAC today. Here’s my tale: Early last week I started noticing a faint whiff of woodsmoke smell in my bedroom, which is directly under the HVAC unit in the attic. In the wee dark hours Thursday morning, I woke up and realized I hadn’t been imagining it, and it wasn’t faint any more. It was coming through the vents. I cut the HVAC breakers and spent a sleepless rest of the night.After reading reviews, it was clear that Lone Star was my best choice. I called shortly after 8 a.m., when the office opens. Jon talked with me and arrived at my door at 8:45. He immediately diagnosed the problem as a UV coil sanitizer that had burned all the way out, yet still had power continuously applied. He disconnected the sanitizer unit so that there would be no fire hazard pending installation of a replacement bulb. Because the HVAC had not been maintained in an unknown number of years, the MERV 16 filter was very dirty as well. Jon also recommended that we have our ducts cleaned, as that had not been done in a very long time.Jon and Brandon arrived promptly—they were even early—this morning, as scheduled, and got to work. They are both friendly, polite, and very considerate. They helped me cover surfaces that might receive debris from the duct cleaning, carefully vacuumed up the floors afterward, and moved furniture back into place for me.Best of all was that the duct cleaning included application of an antimicrobial, antibacterial spray to the coils and ducts. For the year-plus that I’ve been here, the house has had a lingering musty smell that has been very difficult to address. I am strongly allergic to molds and mildew, and because of what had been festering on the duct walls and coils, I had been unable to breathe through my nose inside the house. This spray will last for six months, and beyond that, the newly functional UV coil sanitizer will keep the coils clean so that the duct walls stay that way as well. I can breathe now, and to my astonishment, the house smells GREAT—clean and fresh. It’s like walking into a hotel room.I am extremely pleased with their work, and feel that the price was reasonable. I also would like to recommend Lone Star’s service plan, which is a solid good value, and to thank Jon for explaining it to me. I would never have known about it, and it has already paid for itself in parts discounts.Lone Star has my highest recommendation and I feel very fortunate to have had them do this work.

Highly recommend! The Lone Star team came to the rescue when our 2020 unit went out. They were one of the cheapest bids in the area and very easy to work with. Despite the 100+ degree weather they replaced our entire second floor HVAC system.They also cleaned out our first floor compressor and noticed the wiring was incorrect which they repaired at no additional cost.

I told him what the problem was and he was able to determine the problem and what needs to be done to fix it. This took him about 10 minutes. The problem is a breaker that needs to be replaced. He contacted the property owner and arranged to have an electrician come out to put in a new breaker. I wish all issues with home machines could be resolved so fast. After I told this technician the problem he seemed to know exactly where to start. I recommend this technician and this company.

We called on a Saturday when I seen that my AC unit was having issues called my regular people and no answer so I called Matt and to my surprise he showed up promptly that day diagnosed the problem got me going temporarily till the part came in then came and installed it when it came in and keep me updated on what was going on with the part and when I could expect it and him to arrive at the house!!!! I am Thoroughly impressed and will definitely us Lone Star heating and air again!!!
