    Fortunately, for many years Lone Star has provided AC/Heating service for us. These folks are the most honest in the HVAC space I have ever dealt with. No hype, no maybes just straight forward talk. They are reasonable cost wise and they do their best to make time for emergency calls. The owner is either a deacon or elder in the church I attend. It is very easy to tell he is a man of faith. Give them a try next time you need work done. I doubt you’ll ever use anyone else after that.

    I recently had an issue with one of my farm’s HVAC systems not producing any heat. Unfortunately for me this occurance was exactly when eastern Texas was having a very cold spell. The former HVAC service company which used to be the one which sent service technitians to take care of 2 of my 3 HVAC systems. This is now the “former” company I use!. This is where Lone Star Air Conditioning enters the picture, with Brad being the first one I met. Brad bent over backwards to get the HVAC system working to produce heat to keep me warm as quickly as possible. He diagnosed the problem quickly, he replaced the defective part with a temporary one and I had heat once agin. I requested he order an OEM permanent replacement part, which he did. It took a couple of weeks for this part to arrive. Once it did Brad notified me of its arrival and a Lone Star tech came out, removed the temp part, installed the OEM replacement part and everything has functioned 100% correctly since.So, if you are looking for an honest, price compettitive HVAC service company who will never treat you as simply another account number, only wanting to maximize its bottom line, like the bigger HVAC companies definately are going to do, PLEASE give Brad a call. You can trust him to treat you right!

    We hadn’t had anyone check our AC for a few years so I called one of the other local HVAC Firms.They came out, added a pound of freon and found some other issues with the blower. Their bid included multiple changes to the system for $2,500 and offered a slight discount if we put them on a retainer for their ongoing services.I called Lone Star Air Conditioning & Heating for a second opinion; they came out the next day and inspected the unit. They gave me their opinion of what needed to be done and answered our questions. We had them make the changes, which cost about a third of the first businesses estimated, and there was no mention of a retainer!

Brad and his team are always very responsive, professional, and extremely pleasant to deal with. His charges are also always very reasonable. Brad and Lone Star go way beyond the normal, routine A/C repair companies I have dealt with in the past. As an example, we were having a serious problem with our A/C system on a holiday weekend. I called Brad/Lone Star and he almost immediately returned my call. He then proceeded to give me step-by-step instructions on what to do to get the unit functioning properly until he could come personally and make a permanent repair, all at no charge! My wife and I HIGHLY recommend Brad and Lone Star Air Conditioning and Heating for all your A/C needs and maintenance.

    Overall I am satisfied with Lone Star. We had our HVAC replaced and kept our original duct work. We had a few hiccups along the way but in the end everything ended satisfactorily. His guys were a little messy but nothing crazy. The main reason I initially chose them is that they were significantly cheaper than McWilliams. They also gave an itemized quote opposed to McWilliams vague good better best quotes. I have no problems recommending Brad and the guys at Lone Star.

    Ive had a lot of different AC service providers over the years, but I plan to stick to Brad like glue. Not only is he always amazing in fitting us into his schedule, he is always prompt and quick to arrive. He always has time to talk to me and walk me through several solutions I can try myself before he comes out. The last few times he has had some assistants with him, and I can see his good demeanor is rubbing off on them. They are just as friendly, courteous, and service-oriented as he is. He explains everything he does, explains why he does it (I know very little about AC or heating units), and he is very honest. He has helped me through several rather large issues, motors dying in the unit, and even called the service companies to warranty the parts.Brad is amazing, and everyone I refer to him is ecstatic with the services he provides.

    Called at 4:45 pm and they are coming at 8:30 am the next day and their price is half the others I have called. Nice to find someone who is a good business man not out to rip you off for an instant buck. I will use loyally from now on and refer everyone I know to them.They showed up on time and diagnosed my issue immediately. I called for Freon and it was a fan issue not Freon. Most companies would have still charged for it or added some anyway just to make a buck. They did not. They were honest, efficient, professional, on time and amazing. I am an HVAC engineer / professional and have worked for Trane Technologies in which American Standard is a division for over 30 years. They helped us determine the best system that fit our performance and financial hurdles. The system went in without a hitch an their workmanship and professionalism won the day for us. We went with a 2-stage gas furnace with a variable speed fan and a 2-stage cooling system. It is performing as planned and we can already feel a difference and are excited about the future savings and seeing it in our energy bills. Lone Star Air Conditioning an Heating is a top notch outfit and is our HVAC company of choice!
