Such an awesome and hassle-free experience! Called to ask about an estimate for some renovation work and Austin Short was on-site the very next day. He is super knowledgeable and gave us a couple of recommendations and options. Then Lori called and scheduled the work for the very next day. Danny Dunn and Marco showed up first thing, completed the work, showed us how to operate the new device and our upstairs is now cool and controlled by my phone from anywhere. On 10/17/24, Leo came out to do our winter check-up and he was very professional, friendly and efficient. He was also very thorough, even notified us of a gas odor that may be coming from hot water heater, which was VERY responsible and much appreciated! We want Leo for all future visits!Today, exact same thing happened! Called late last night as our 2nd unit went out and, at 10AM today, Austin came and quickly diagnosed problem - capacitor (again)! Austin was also VERY professional, friendly and quickly replaced the capacitor! We SO appreciate the prompt response and great service!Two weeks ago, Id called answering service at 9:30PM as living room A/C was 80 degrees and not cooling. At 9:10 AM next day, Braulio Meraz came and, within 30 minutes, he diagnosed and fixed the problem (needed new capacitor)! Braulio was very professional, friendly and efficient. He did a great job and cooled us off again! Thanks for the great service and quick turn-around!

Coppell Heat and Air installed our AC a few years ago and has done routine maintenance. Today, our AC stopped, thermostat went blank. It was a simple need of changing the batteries in the thermostat and waiting for the AC to come back on…but we didn’t know. Austin could have made us wait for him to get to us, but he took the time to troubleshoot over the phone. We’re so grateful for this family owned business and how well they have taken care of us! Our Trane experienced a circuit board failure and would not operate as required. Both Austin and Leo were positive and responsive in attending to our problem. Being without heat can be an issue in Texas in December. Not only did they respond in a very rapid fashion, but obtained the required part and installed it an expedited manner. I strongly recommend this company for any A/C or Heating problem you might encounter.

My 4 year old A/C began to fail on Saturday afternoon. I couldnt reach the company who did the install so, on recommendation from a neighbor I contacted Coppell Heating and A/C on Monday morning. They scheduled a technician for Tuesday morning.The technician (Austin) showed up as scheduled. He was friendly, professional and thorough. We have used Coppell AC/Heat for many years to install/maintain our home ac/heat unit and have always been very happy with their service. Today we used them again to install a mini-split unit in our garage. Joel (Jay) Short met with us several weeks ago to estimate the job and provided the electrical requirements that needed to be met before he could install the unit. After we had the new electrical circuit installed, Joel came out on this very hot day and installed the Samsung mini-split air/heat unit. As always Joel was professional and answered our questions throughout the day. The installation looks great both inside the garage and outside the house. Joel did an exemplary job! Our air conditioning went out the morning of July 4. We called Coppell Heating and Air thinking there was no way our air conditioning would be fixed on July 4th and were already making plans to spend the night in a hotel. The person who took the call was very professional and said we would be contacted ASAP. We were. Braulio Meraz contacted us within the hour and said he could be out within 3 hours. I had the pleasure of having Braulio Meraz at my home on 8/16/2023. He quickly identified my problem and fixed it in a matter of minutes.I had a wiring problem on my capacitor that was done during installation over a year ago by another company. Braulio immediately noticed the problem and fixed it. After correcting the wiring problem, he checked my compressor and fan amp draw to see if any damage had been done to either. Thankfully the compressor is just fine, but my fan will probably need to be replaced within the next six months. I’m just fine with that.I had no idea if my problem was the capacitor, compressor, or something else. Braulio could’ve told me anything and I would have believed him. I am so grateful he was honest with me. Excellent experience! I had a full install of two new ACs and furnaces, and am so happy I went with Coppell Heating and Air. Joel, one of the owners, came for the quote, and was transparent and answered all my questions. The crew that did the install, though they did have to come back for some loose ends (this happens and they handled the right way) did an excellent job. They made sure the AC was running and I was comfortable until they came back for the loose ends, which was much appreciated! They were transparent and did a great job. On a side note, the supplier had some logistics issues and went out of there way to get Joel an upgraded unit, all so my job could get done on time. Really I can’t say enough about Coppell Heating and Air, I highly recommend.

Great company. They are very responsive to my concerns and questions. They come quickly (within a day or 2) to troubleshoot and fix any problems. They are friendly. They do, however, leave a bit of a mess. Small meeses like dirty fingerprints on the white walls/ceilings from cleaning the vents. Fluffy insulation was all over the floor from walking around in the attic. I had to sweep up wall shavings from installing thermostats and removing the vents for cleaning. I must say, that even though youll have a bit to clean when they leave, I have not had ANY problems with the equipment I have purchased for about 1 year now. Even when I thought the thermostats were not working, they made an appointment to show me again slight nuances of how to operate the thermostats. They even knew my old system, and how I could get the best comfort at the lowest cost. I would recommend them to anyone looking for good guys who know HVAC very well.
