Benny and Erik were very efficient! They looked over both of my units and they explained in detail where my problem areas were with pictures and how they could fix them. They helped me decide the best course of action to take and what was a high priority. They fixed my problem areas very quickly and took pictures to show me of what theyd worked on. They picked up after themselves and left the area cleaner than they found it. They were both very friendly, respectful and helpful. Very good company to deal with your A/C need. Erik was great that came out to give my older A/C unit a tune up. He was very respectful and easy to talk too. He cleaned my A/C unit inside and out was very thorough. He installed my new air filter for me while he was checking things out. We sat down and went over plans for the next visit on request for repairs I would like done. Good people to deal with.

We started using Comfort Commander a little over a year ago. Our old system was on its last legs, but Daniel Ehlinger and Austin Caslow breathed new life into it and we were able to get another year out of the system. A few weeks ago, the old system began making loud noises, so we knew it was time for an upgrade. We obtained quotes from a couple big named businesses in the city. We called Comfort Commander as well and Austin Ehlinger came and gave us a quote. We were pleased that they were very competitive with the other companies. We wanted to keep business local, so we went with Comfort Commander. We could not be more pleased with our decision. Austin, Daniel and team worked non stop for two days installing not only the new system, but replaced our entire duct work which was improperly installed when the house was built. I live in one of the high rise condos so the cooling system runs a little different than a traditional one. His knowledge was excellent. We needed to replace our very old and broken air conditioner and heater. My parents installed a new unit using Comfort Commander about 2 years ago and recommended them. They came out quickly after calling them to check out what I needed, asked what I was looking for in a new unit, and were able to come back quickly to install. The new unit looks great and so far is working great (it’s been a couple weeks). They cleaned up everything when they were done installing and walked me through the new unit and the new thermostat and even took the time to set up my phone to connect to the new thermostat. Its shame I can only give 5 stars. I had another company, WillFixIt, come out last night on an emergency call. I have had health problems recently that even required emergency surgery, and my son was worried about the heat affecting me. He was sweet enough to pay for last night. Their tech said there was absolutely nothing wrong with my air conditioner, charged me $119 , gave me horrible customer service and left me with an 84 degree house and no resolution. Today, Golden Rule was kind enough to squeeze me in to a tight schedule. The tech, Travis, went out to the outside unit, and came right back in .....he had already found the problem. The wire was fried between the capacitor and the compressor, and one of the fittings on the capacitor was loose/melted. He showed me the parts, gave me a quote, listened to me rant about the mean tech last night, fixed the problem and it wasnt a whole lot more than what I paid last night. Travis was sympathetic, efficient, and gave great customer service. How the tech last night didnt see the fried wire or realize the compressor wasnt even kicking on is beyond me. Thank goodness for Golden Rule though. They were awesome! I feel terrible for the $119 donation my son made last night to WillFixIt (because it certainly wasnt for any services rendered), but thankfully there are still honest companies around who believe in taking care of their customers and treating them right, and Golden Rule is one of them!
