I cant recommend Climate Masters Heating & Air Conditioning enough. Over the recent summer, my AC condenser unit broke down. I was faced with the task of replacing both the condenser unit and furnace. While other service providers were booked for at least a month and hiking up their prices, Todd managed to fit me into their schedule promptly and offered me a very reasonable price. His installation team braved the extreme attic heat to ensure the job was done efficiently. Later, when I was contemplating transforming my basement into a guest apartment, Todd was back at my place with just a days notice, guiding me through the various options. What impressed me the most was his honesty and integrity. He actually advised against an unnecessary AC upgrade, which I truly appreciated. Its refreshing to know that there are still hardworking and trustworthy professionals in the AC repair industry. Theyre indeed a rare find.

Andres did a thorough and professional job with our HVAC system! We ran into some major problems that needed addressing, so Todd, the project supervisor, stepped in and provided a cost estimate. Both were very clear about the required steps for our furnace repair. I appreciated their thoughtfulness in wearing shoe covers inside our Austin property, as they had to walk through the yard to their van (my dog was quite thrilled), and thus avoided bringing any dirt into the house. We had an excellent experience with Climate Masters Heating & Air Conditioning. Louis was meticulous, professional and friendly throughout the whole process. During our pre-installation meeting, Evan addressed all our queries and made sure we knew what to expect on the day of installation! Our two technicians, Andres and Louis were absolute professionals as they installed two HVAC units during a particularly hot day. They checked in with us throughout the process to ensure they clearly understood where we wanted the mini-splits mounted on the walls, as well as the ideal locations for the thermostats. Once everything was in place, Andres took the time to explain each unit and answered any questions we had about the systems operation. They tidied up each area they worked in and we couldnt have asked for better service. We would highly recommend this team to anyone in need of mini splits or heat pumps!

One sweltering day, I awoke early in the morning to find the thermostat reading a balmy 78 degrees. With a long 12-hour shift ahead, my wife took the initiative to call for HVAC assistance. Jay showed up promptly that same morning, quickly diagnosing the issue as a faulty capacitor. In less than half an hour, we were once again basking in cool comfort, much to our relief. Our HVAC system had previously required a new A/C coil, which was replaced a few years ago. However, we encountered an issue with a defective thermal expansion regulator. Thankfully, they returned promptly to install a new coil under warranty, ensuring our system was back up and running efficiently. Now, our home is consistently cool and comfortable. My first encounter with their service was when I sought a second opinion after another furnace repair company told me I needed to shell out $2200-3000 to repair my 7-year-old furnace. I called in Evan from this team for a second opinion. He spent 90 minutes diagnosing the problem, even reaching out to the manufacturer, and managed to resolve the issue. It turned out to be a fairly straightforward repair that cost me less than $300. Ive been using their service ever since and Im thoroughly pleased with their punctuality. Their customer service is also top-notch!

We all know the saying, You get what you pay for. This statement was never truer than when I engaged two distinct companies for the same task: a straightforward inspection and cleaning of my homes AC unit. The first company, Climate Masters Heating & Air Conditioning, took over an hour to complete the job. Louis, their technician, dismantled the entire unit, meticulously cleaned the coils from inside out, scrutinized the freon levels, gauged the temperature from several vents in my house, and did a plethora of other things which I cant even begin to comprehend. The cost was $99. The second company, found on a popular review site, took the shortcut. They only removed the fan cover, gave it a quick rinse, checked the freon level, and called it a day. This procedure barely took 10 minutes and cost me $49. It was at this point that I truly understood the meaning of You get what you pay for. Louis from the first company did the servicing of my AC and he is the person whom I believe did a thorough job. That being said, I strongly recommend his services.

I cannot express enough how fantastic my experience with Climate Masters Heating & Air Conditioning was. I am renovating an old, century-old home in Austin which required a new heater system. Climate Masters handled everything superbly, surpassing all of my expectations. Initially, when I reached out to schedule an estimate, I was informed by their staff that they had previously worked on my house... in the past! Given their long-standing presence in the neighborhood, this wasnt surprising. Nonetheless, I was really impressed with their record-keeping skills. On the administrative side, I mostly interacted with Louis, who was knowledgeable, timely, and diligent. He conducted a thorough inspection of the house and the old heater, and patiently answered all of my queries (being an engineer with little knowledge about heaters, I had a lot). Louis promptly prepared a detailed estimate for me. The installation team was punctual both days, extremely friendly, and hard-working. It was quite a task to maneuver the new heater system down to the basement through a narrow staircase, requiring the effort of 3-4 guys. The entire operation went smoothly. After the successful installation, Evan from the team gave me a brief tutorial on heater maintenance. The end result looks fantastic and my house is now cozy and warm. Heater systems can be complex and there are numerous ways the system could go wrong. Im incredibly glad that I chose Climate Masters Heating & Air Conditioning for the job. Their service was exceptional.

When my furnace broke down in my apartment on a weekend, I was told no one was available until Monday. However, they did say that if I found someone else, they would reimburse me. I reached out to numerous furnace repair companies, and only Jay was responsive. He managed to send a technician to my place only 36 minutes after our conversation ended, even on a weekend! The technician, Evan, quickly identified several issues. He found a few loose wires and a faulty wire connected to the thermostat. He also noticed that my blower motor was failing. After getting the green light from the property owners, Evan replaced the motor, and the heat in our apartment was restored! The new blower is working incredibly well. Its circulating the air so efficiently, that I hadnt even realized how poorly the old one was performing until now. I shared my positive experience with the property owners, and they were so impressed with the service that theyve added this furnace repair company to their list of approved vendors. I hope this will help the company grow. They certainly deserve it!

Recently, a professional team did a significant heater repair job at my home. this involved installing a completely new system and replacing an underperforming unit that was not adequately heating the area. not only did they have to set up a new heater, but they also had to remove the old one, which was located upstairs, and reroute the ductwork before setting up the new system downstairs. the previous team that had done heater work had not done a good job, leaving us struggling with multiple areas of the house not being properly heated. todd, jay, and evan had to add new returns, install a few new ducts, and rework a lot of the upstairs ductwork. the results are now incredibly professional. im extremely pleased with how well my entire home is heated now.

On the coldest day, the heater decided to give up but these professionals provided me with a fair estimate and installed a new 5-ton trane heater compressor, air handler, and thermostat. jay, andres, and louis were incredibly professional and worked diligently from 9:30 in the morning until 3:30 in the afternoon when the new unit was switched on. im very pleased and so is my wife.

During a recent heat wave, our ac broke down. the previous company we used no longer handles residential services, so they recommended climate masters heating & air conditioning. andres and a trainee came over to diagnose the issue. we found out that our old system wasn’t worth repairing. on a scorching day, jay and evan arrived to help us out. they answered all our questions and got to work right away. the unit was located in the sweltering attic, and jay spent hours up there; i really dont know how he did it. evan and kelly mostly worked outside, which wasnt easy either, but evan did spend some time in the attic too. kelly was fantastic in helping us set up the app, and jay took the time to explain the thermostat. now, we’re comfortably cool!

They successfully installed a new HVAC unit in the main area of my house, incorporated new ductwork, installed modern vents, and repaired the walls where vents had been incorrectly installed. This was all done for a second HVAC system that was used in our guest room and was initially not installed correctly. They also installed two new smart thermostats, allowing me to control the climate throughout my home remotely. I am incredibly grateful to Jay and Andres for their help and would strongly recommend their HVAC services.

Our hvac system gave up on us, and our usual service provider was not available. thats when we decided to give climate masters heating & air conditioning a try after reading some positive reviews. it turned out to be an excellent choice! our technician, todd, quickly diagnosed the problem - a corroded and damaged electrical starter (refer to the attached picture). fortunately, he had a replacement part in his van. in no time, todd installed it and had our hvac system up and running again. the cost for the service call and part replacement was quite reasonable. i was so satisfied with the experience that i decided to hire them for the regular summer/winter maintenance of our 17-year old hvac system. if possible, i would suggest asking for todd when you need their services; he comes highly recommended.

The hvac system was set to 73 degrees but was amazingly cooling at 69 degrees and didnt stop until i manually turned it off. following an inspection by an hvac specialist in austin, no problems were found. this is the second time this situation has arisen. the only advice given by todd was to switch off the system and then turn it back on, which worked remarkably well. its quite astonishing how such a straightforward solution can fix issues with the hvac system.
