Recently my heater went out. I have used American Home Shield for warranty in the past and requested they send American Air Conditioning and Heating because I had a positive experience with them in the past. Mr Corey Yarbro and another gentleman arrived promptly, and diagnosed and repaired the problem quickly. They explained their findings with me as they went along and made me feel comfortable with their work. They cleaned any mess they made prior to leaving. In short both technicians were very nice and professional. I will not hesitate to use American Air Conditioning and Heating in the future.

This is the first company I’ve ever used that actually has techs that know how to work on the units. The builder of my home used a bad AC company for the install so I’ve needed services a lot over the past few years and this company is the only one who could diagnose the problem promptly and had a solutions to fix it right away. Larry from American AC & Heating Co. is the best tech I’ve ever had and hopefully in the future I don’t need a fix, but if I do, this will be my company of choice!

A little over four years ago, I contracted with American A/C and Heating to install a new A/C system for my home. For nearly 16 years, I was always concerned that the builder installed system was inadequate for the size of my house. When American A/C was contracted to come out and fix the old system, they agreed with my earlier assessment. Accordingly, I had the entire system replaced. To this day, my monthly heating and cooling bills are nearly $100 less than what I had been paying. The good news does not stop there. Their 10 year warranty program is excellent. Recently Corey Yarbo (the lead tech) came out to repair a capacitor failure. He arrived on time within the window that I was given. Diagnose the problem and restored service in less than four hours from the initial report to the company. American A/C and Heating only sends out the very best. Cory then took time to check both systems in other areas to ensure that everything was functioning properly. The guy is really good. The best of all is that I paid nothing for parts and labor, only a very modest service charge. American A/C & Heating Co. is number one in my book. Definitely “5 stars” all the way.

My AC stopped cooling. I called a few companies, (4 to be exact), and either they would not return my call or theyd schedule an appointment and then not show up. No phone call to explain why or even to reschedule. By day 3, I was very frustrated of not having a cool place to come home to. I called American Air and was greeted in a friendly/professional manner by Cindy. I was happy to have someone answer my call for starters, she listened to what I had experienced the 3 days prior, and although it had nothing to do with her or their company, she was very apologetic and assured that they would do right by me. Sure enough, she scheduled a same day appointment. John, the tech that was scheduled to service my unit, called me when he was 25 minutes away. He was friendly, professional, and punctual. He checked my unit, found and repaired a small leak, and recharged it with freon explaining the process along the way. Its been 3 weeks and Ive had no more problems! Thank you American A/C for your excellent customer service, affordable rates, and for keeping this woman from melting in this hundred degree weather! I will be recommending you to my friends and family.

The company itself needs improvement. The office staff is very professional as were the technicians. The office staff spoke with and explained with no rush my delays and process.The first tech that came to determine my service needed was at first a little on the rough side.He stated my AC was running fine. I stated it runs low with no cold air. While we discussed my issue that was not being verified, my A C proved me correct. It stopped blowing cold air and it was a very dim flow. He determined my coils had a leak. He then informed me another team would be here to pick up coils and take to shop for repair and test. I made contact with my warranty on a Tuesday— July 29. Tech came out on Thursday—July 31st. I was being booked for Monday Aug 4th to have could picked up because the AC company does not work weekends. I was able to get office to have my coil picked up on Friday with Monday as next in line to be reviewed and analyzed.When the second guys came out — Andrew and Edward, they told me the folks at repair shop would schedule my repair and diagnostic. The longest I could be without AC would be 2 weeks since the shop does not work weekends and part would not be at warehouse until Friday afternoon.I followed up a week later and was informed by office staff of my estimate cost. The coil was covered but not the required Freon of 14 pounds and they wanted payment in full. I stated coil has not been completed as fixed and freon was quoted as 5 pounds not 14!The actual Freon was 5 pounds when coil was return with no repair, and not 14 pounds.The coil was not issue. Andrew and Edward returned coil and only added five pounds of Freon.Job was completed on August 12.Andrew was very knowledgeable about what he needed to check to get my AC operational.If first tech had just cleaned the lines like Andrew did, there would not have been no need to take my coil for repair.With 100 degree weather days, there was no need to take coil and only to have lines cleaned and add Freon.I prefer companies that work on weekends and not limit their hour to 730am until 3:30 pm.There are lots of other companies that have longer customer service hours and provide weekend services.It was just my roll of the dice that my warranty carrier selected them as my repair provider.If given the choice, I would have selected a company with longer customer service hours and days.Britney and Elaine provided excellent office service.Andrew was very informative and professional with his experience and has great customer communication skills.

My compressor worked perfectly in early hours of the day but would stop working around sunset. Juan quickly solved this problem which was so confusing for many of us. The drainage had clogged up due to calcium buildup where it was the least suspecting. After removing the calcium buildup he worked on the compressor and added an extra part to rejuvenate the old horse without me even asking him to do it. He was friendly yet professional and skilled. Thanks Juan, my house is cool again.

The service technician (Nate) was thorough and obviously an expert in this industry. Temperatures reached over 109°F and I was miserable and needed service fast. He spotted that the replacement thermostat that was installed in my home was not compatible to my gas furnace which was causing the system to malfunction. Excellent attention to detail and excellent service. Nate is a man of integrity and honestly one of the most delightful people Ive had the pleasure of meeting. Id recommend American Air Conditioning and Heating Company over and over again.

Had a great experience with this company after our warranty company assigned them to fix our AC. The dispatcher Elaine was very professional and courteous and instilled confidence the job would be handled as quickly and competently as possible.Our assigned Technician Larry was also very professional and clearly had the knowledge and expertise to handle any HVAC issue. He was kind and thoughtful and also left us feeling that he cared about our situation and wanted to reach a resolution as soon as possible. He out a great deal of effort and care into repairing and maintenance of the outdoor HVAC unit. They did a wonderful job when fixing our AC. Unfortunately, it took 4 separate visits to get our unit to work properly (by no fault of theirs). The technician’s were always on time and never left until a problem was diagnosed and resolved. Nate (Nate’s partner) and Juan were a huge help. They did everything in their power to assist us and confirm we were completely satisfied. Overall they have a great team full of professionals, who are respectful and provide quality service.

I didnt get the name of the tech that came to my house, but it will be easy to match up since my house is cursed. He came to fix a broken fan blade and ended up also replacing the motor that died while he was here....he was a really great guy and went way above and beyond what he needed to, he clearly cares about his work and the quality of it and it showed. i had some questions about cleaning the coils and asked if he could show me where the inside coils were, he not only did that but took a look at them for me, showed me a picture, and told me the home warranty company I use would pull and clean it for me.I have been impressed with all the techs that have come out from American Air, but even amongst the rest he stands out and was an absolute blessing to have work on my unit

Woke up Monday to no air flow out of the vents. Made the appointment and was assigned American AC & Heat. Juan was dispatched to us and was very professional and COMMUNICATIVE. Which for the wife and I, is a big deal. I have some knowledge and deduced it toal a faulty blower motor and Juan verified that finding. Luckily he had an ECM motor on hand and was able to swap it out within an hour. Again, he communicated what he was doing and made the whole experience that much less stressful. He did a check of the system as a whole once he was done and let us know all was well. Will definitely be requesting this company and individual if he is still available in the future.

He let me know that the parts had been taking 7-14 through american home shield but to call them and let the office and american home shield know about my situation(two of my kiddos are special needs) within 4 days andrew and Ryan was out at my house and had our air back running colder than it ever has since I bought the house! The office and all the techs were absolutely great and all very nice and professional! Would definitely use them again if we ever have issues with our air again!!

AHS sent this company out for a second opinion after a previous company came out 4 times without resolving the issue of my AC running constantly but not cooling lower than 80 degrees. I was apprehensive after reading the reviews here.Miranda got me on the schedule same day due to some cancellations they had and Larry came out, listened to my concerns, and assessed the ductwork and system. He found it to be low on Freon so he recharged the system with 6lbs. of Freon, added Stop Leak in case of a small leak somewhere, and discussed some ductwork configurations that would help in the future but nothing that was pressing in regards to the current situation.The AC is now cooling appropriately without running constantly. I even had to pass out blankets to my family.I had an excellent experience with American Air Conditioning & Heating. Ask for Larry!

I had to start the process of getting information concerning what is going on. I would recommend them but just be prepared to be the one that initiates the phone calls.

American Home Shield assigned us this contractor. While we were hesitant about this companys previous ratings, it seems theyre on the up-and-up. Corey was the name of our technician. He came in a timely manner, was friendly and professional, immediately diagnosed and fixed the most glaring problems (broken capacitor and half-tripped breaker). He even went the extra mile to inform and show us how we can best keep our central air running smoothly (eg. provide at least 3ft of space around the unit, change filters regularly, spray down dirty coils with the hose, etc).
