I live in Killeen and during one of the cold fronts my outside fan started making loud zapping and clicking sounds. Called several people but Alpha Tech responded right away and took good care of me. Waldemar from Alpha Tech did the troubleshooting and figured out the problem right away. It was the High Pressure Switch that had gone bad. He told me each step of the way what he was doing and why he was doing it. He had to cut the switch out and then welded the new one back on. He saved me lots of money by completely vacuuming the refrigerant out of the system and once he was done he put the same refrigerant back into the system. He had to add some extra to cover up the loss. He then ran the Heater and checked the pressure and waited extra 15 to 20 mins to ensure that everything was running at an optimum level. He also changed the Contactor free of charge since it was looking bad due to the zapping. He was very knowledgeable and I trust him with my total HVAC system maintenance and repair. He also gave me some tips on how to set my temperatures to save mo ey on my electric bill and not to stress the HVAC system too much. He charged me a very decent amount of money for all the work he performed and he told me in advance how much it will cost. He earned a solid five stars in my book.

It is the most refreshing feeling to know good companies to take care of professional needs such as an ac unit! I called and expressed our needs. Waldemar was at my home within 2 hours from the call. Unfortunately the service needed was more than just what we thought, but was necessary! But that’s ok! Needed to be done! When he came out we thought our heat was compromised so we had turned it off.. so happen to be the coldest day for us here in Texas. Also was just way too cold for him to be out working on the unit. He assured me that the heat was fine, tested it even before he left. He scheduled to come back out during the weekend and address the actual ac issue. Got it fixed and working properly. The service technician, Waldemar Robles was very professional and detected the problem with our condensing unit within minutes. He cleaned the condenser coils and replaced a faulty capacitor. This was the fastest service I have ever seen. We have been in this house for over 25 years and in the past have used Yungs AC repair but he has retired and no longer has his business. Alpha Tech is now our new Guy To Go To. It was a pleasure having them here. I will not hesitate to call again should the need arise in the future.

My air conditioning stopped working yesterday afternoon the unit was not covered by any insurance. After calling several companies, they gave us a reasonable price just for the visit. They sent someone in less than 16 hours, the tech made the diagnosis, I explained to my husband, I changed the motor unit the same day. my air is working and it didnt seem expensive to me. The air was sedating and we did not have active insurance for this, my husband called several companies but just for the visit it was very expensive but we found this one and the price is reasonable. They sent the technician to check everything and give us the diagnosis, he changed the units motor the same day and our unit is now working. And with everything he did, the total price is fine. I recommend that they speak Spanish.
