My a/c went out again yesterday, Saturday of course, called Air Tech of Pasadena was able to have a extremely nice young man Kane Monthies come out 8:00 pm, he found the issue immediately, got me back and running. I have had Air Tech out 3 times in the last 2 months and all of the Techs have been amazing, I can’t say enough good things about their exceptional service! Highly recommend this company, don’t waste your time calling anyone else, you’ll be thanking me later!!

My ac went out and my warranty plan could not come for several days. As my home got to 94° I couldnt wait any longer, so I called this company and they came out right away same day. The tech was super nice and very professional. He started in the attic and then went to the outside unit. He spent time testing the components and determined that my capacitor was bad. He quoted me $400 to replace. I called around and it was about $400 to repair, so the price was within industry standards. He then put everything back together and gave me a very professional invoice listing the part I needed and the problem. I sent a check in the mail for the diagnostic fee.My warranty company called and said theyd be able to come out the next day first thing in the morning. So out of curiosity I decided to see what they would do and say. The other companys tech came, I told him the problem, he didnt check in the attic, and I watched him, he didnt test any of the components. Within 10 minutes he told me my fan was bad and the whole unit had to be replaced. I went off on him. I told him to pack his stuff up and get out. Then he tried to explain, so I Handed him the capacitor from Ace Hardware and told him to put it on while I watched. Assuming I was stupid, he began to show me that there was a short in the system and it wouldnt work. I got mad and angry again at the assumption that I was stupid, so I told him, lets try putting the wires on the capacitor the right way and stop assuming Im stupid. Im not stupid. I can see what youre doing. He didnt know I had already taken a photo of the old capacitor and knew how the wires were suppose to be connected and Im watching him cause the short. He finally agrees to do it right, and what do you know, the fan didnt need to be replaced, and the AC started cooling in the house, and everything worked wonderfully. He was a very dishonest tech. And then he took credit for solving the problem after making me fight with him to be honest. 😡So whenever I need AC work again Ill never forget the excellent service I got from Air Tech of Pasadena. They came out right away, were very professional, thorough, and honest. Best $89 I ever spent. I highly recommend.

I switched to Airtech after my old AC company lied to me and was going to charge me twice as much as I needed to pay to fix my AC. Air Tech pursued the warranty and saved me a lot of money on the repairs. They have a straightforward maintenance agreement that also saves money on on system checkups. I am very happy that I chose to go with them after the previous company that I had counted on for years, let me down. Air Tech Its an honest and honorable company, and I highly recommend them.

Jaret arrived at our home and I told him that my thermostat was not working. He took a look and advised me that the thermostat was 9 years old and should be replaced. He also checked the unit in the attic and found that the drain line was stopped up. He was able to blow out the blockage and all is good. I just want your company to know how much my wife and I appreciate the knowledge and Jarets professional ability in repairing our air system. He is also a good salesman, signing us up for a years service contract. We have been using Miles since 1998. Thanks Jaret for outstanding service. He’s the best.

Air Tech of Pasadena is always professional and timely. We have always worked with Daniel (amazing) for our maintenance and although he was unavailable for our recent emergency visit, we were pleased to see that the excellent customer service we are used to with Daniel extends to the entire crew. One of our AC units went down the day before Hurricane Beryl and although we had a generator to power the home, the home was uncomfortable during the widespread power outage in the area. Even though the staff was battling their own power issues at their homes, they were able to get us on the schedule to replace the unit within 2 days which allowed us to cool the home and provide relief for our family. Jesus and Jacob and crew were diligent in their analysis and ultimately their installation. They worked efficiently and kept the home and outside areas clean. After the installation Walter R came to the house to address a small issue. He was patient, knowledgeable, kind and extremely thorough in his assessment of the issue and his completion of the work. He event went the extra mile to assess our second unit to ensure that we would not have additional issues. That kind of service truly gave us peace of mind. Time and Time again Miles (now Air Tech of Pasadena) has taken care of our family’s needs and we will do business with no one else. Thank you to everyone involved for your excellent service and for allowing us to give our family a safe and comfortable place to recover from the storm.

I made an appointment with AirTech for an estimate to install a mini split a/c unit in my converted garage to a workshop. Hector, AirTech rep showed up as scheduled on time and was professional and knowledgeable to answer all my questions. As it turned out I went ahead and purchased a unit to be installed early next week. I’ll give an updated review following installation.I do recommend Hector, with AirTech, to give you an honest and compatible estimate for your a/c needs.Update: Carlos(?) and Cesar teamed up and installed my system. They arrived on time and meticulously and professionally put the system together and had it up and running within 5-6 hours.I can highly recommend this company for install of a mini split system.

I was having an issue with my air conditioning system so I signed up for the maintenance service that they offer. Jaret came out and figured out everything that was going on. I am very impressed! He also told me of other things that would help my system and keep me cooler.I was contacted from the office to make an appointment for the work I needed. Two days later Walter came out and did an excellent job also! He installed a p-trap and an attic tent. Jaret and Walter gave me notice before arriving and also sent a photo of what they looked like. They also take before and after photos of the work they have done. I am so grateful I found this company! I would like to first start by saying that I receive multiple bids for our new unit. But it wasnt until Eric showed up and started asking me questions about the size of my house, hotspots, the exact square foot and was there any previous problems that we have that we wanted addressed. He ran a load analysis and he already knew the square foot of my home because he looked up the house on HCAD, so he showed up prepared. We discussed what I would like to have done and he went up in my attic and looked at what was up there then went outside and looked at the units we had. Then we discuss my options. He told me that my furnace was in good condition and that my duck work was great there was no problems with it and he didnt think it needed to be replaced. As you can imagine I was surprised because thats not what I have been told by other companies. He made the process very easy to understand so that I could make an educated decision.The day of install I received an email stating that the installers were on their way. They showed up about 20 minutes later ready to work. They cleared a path and put tarps down all the way up my stairs and under the attic door. The man were friendly and very educated in their job. They did not mess around they started right to work and they worked til lunch and then went right back to work and worked till quitting time.I very seldom write a review but I felt like they deserved one. I highly recommend and we definitely use again.

Today the technicians came to perform repairs that were found during routine maintenance. I was not pressured at all to do these repairs quickly and the timing was left up to me. The technician, Jacob and another technician were punctual and got right to work. They had the upkeep on the AC done in just a couple of hours. They addressed any questions I had and were very professional and polite. As usual Air Tech of Pasadena did not disappoint. Five stars for Ricardo and Cesar, who installed complex additions to our one-stage 5 ton system. Added an extra plenum to allow room temp air to be mixed with frigid return air, which has greatly reduced condensation on the furnace unit, corrected location of other ductwork and replaced associated plenum. Other items (damper and drain pan) replaced. They worked in the attic for a good 7-8 hours. Cleaned up and left the attic and outside work area spotless. After many tries, we have found our go-to HVAC company.

This is the first time weve used this company but they came to our rescue when our regular guy didnt make it. Eric was so nice and helpful. Jesus came the next day and fixed everything up but it wouldnt fire up due to the chip being fried from the electrical storm that knocked it out in the first place. It had to be ordered from the manufacturer, which would be a few days getting in. Eric came back to our house with a window ac unit and fixed it up for us. It was wonderful to have cool air relief with such hot weather. A week after our air conditioning went out, the chip came in, Jesus immediately came over installed the chip and our air conitioning unit is now working like a dream. I highly, highly recommend Eric, Jesus and the Air Tech of Pasadena team for all your air conditioning needs.

He even complemented me on my secondary sump pump I had incase the main line was to get clogged again. 12/5/24 - Kane Monthie completed annual heater checkups at my home and a rental home. He provides excellent communication and documentation of a very thorough inspection. Rent house recently was re-roofed and furnace vent pipe through the roof was pulled apart by roofers. Kane found this on his inspection and re-connected the vent, which could have been a source of carbon monoxide entering the house.2/27/24 - I’m a believer in AirTech Pasadena’s Shield maintenance program. The Spring a/c checkup by Daniel Lampson found bad bearings on my blower motor, so I was able to schedule him back the next day to replace the motor. Daniel is a perfect example of a well trained and competent technician and a good communicator.4/7/23 - Jesus did the annual a/c checkup today..as usual, on time, very thorough inspection and friendly service. AirTech Pasadena has continued the excellent service I got for years from Miles Service Corp.I have been using Miles Service Corp, which is now AirTech Pasadena, for 20+ years. It is still a 5 star company..Kane just finished my annual heater checkup, and a shoutout to him as well for his competence and communication. I highly recommend the company and their annual maintenance program.Eric Harkins did a complimentary HVAC inspection on a new house being built for my son. His knowledge of what to look for in a properly installed system and what should be done when put in service was invaluable. His years of experience and expertise make him my HVAC go-to expert, and Miles Service Corp will always be my chosen HVAC company.I have maintenance agreements with Miles on 4 houses, and Kirt did the Fall season heater check-ups..as I have always experienced with Miles, they communicate thoroughly with the customer, technicians are well trained, competent, and on time for scheduled service. In one of the rent houses, Kirt found a broken vent pipe on a gas furnace, which would have resulted in carbon monoxide in the attic when the heater was in operation. Obviously could have been a deadly scenario, so I recommend the maintenance agreements.

Our 2nd visit from Walter this year year was just as efficient and congenial as the 1st in January. Today was a regular AC maintenance check up for which we have an annual contract. The call in January was an early Sunday evening problem call for no heat. Handled with a temporary fix that evening to get us some heat and a permanent fix with a new part and some repairs the next day. As always with Air Tech everything is handled quickly , efficiently and in the most pleasant way possible. We also had an emergency call last week afters hours when I smelled smoke near our Heat/AC unit. A service call from Kane found nothing wrong with our system but did find a smoldering ceiling fan in the same area. Air Tech has always done that extra bit for great service.

Jesus did a great job of identifying the problem with my 20 year old AC unit. He was friendly and pleasant in spite of working in the 100 degree temps. It was such a relief to get service on Sunday instead of having to wait till offices opened on Monday.To add a note here, Walter came the next day to replace a motor on the cooling unit outside, but unfortunately it was the wrong motor and of course wouldn’t fit. It wasn’t Walter’s fault, but it was already after 6pm so nothing to be done till the next day. We endured a hot night, worried about how and when it would all be resolved. The next day Walter had the right motor and came out around noon to install it, even though he was booked solid for the day. He was thoughtful and considerate and we are so grateful to him and everyone who helped make it right. He didn’t make a comment about my unit being ancient (it’s at least 20 years old) or junky, nor did he try to upsell us an entire new system, which I really appreciated. This is my first experience with Miles AC and it has been a pleasant one. Nancy Martin was my advisor and I found her to be professional, knowledgeable and helpful. She followed the project from the beginning until its completion and then checked in with me later to make sure I was happy with the way things were operating. I was also very impressed with the installation crew that did the work. They did the job within their estimated timeframe and cleaned up on completion. When the City Of Houston inspector came out, he even mentioned what a great installation I had done. Kudos to Miles Service Corp and particularly to Nancy Martin and her crew.

I called to set up a service to fix my ac unit, i asked for military discount and was told that i would get one, the repair man said no. The important thing is how quick my ac was up and running, a discount would have helped. I try to hire military friendly businesses and next time i will.

I have been using Air Tech for the last 2 years and very happy with their services! Daniel Lampson is the service tech for my area and he is always on time and very professional and friendly! I replaced my AC system last August and Daniel explained all the systems of choice and made sure all my questions were answered and that I’ve been satisfied with my choice! Daniel was the lead over the installation and made sure all went well. Daniel continues to make sure everything is always working correctly and takes pride in his work! I appreciate his honesty and that he truly cares about his clients!

I called Air Tech Of Pasadena about an A/C issue on 12/06/22. My A/C went out on Thanksgiving Day. I was told Kane would be coming out to check it. I received a text when he was on his way. When he came to my door, his appearance was neat and professional looking, in addition he was very friendly. I do appreciate that he used his shoe covers before walking in. Kane checked the unit out and identified the problem. He explained everything to me and patiently answered all my many questions. He fixed the problem, then afterwards he checked all components to ensure there that were no other problems. I can see that he knows his job really well. Thank you for sending him. I highly recommend him and will definitely continue using Air Tech for my AC needs plus continue to highly recommend Air Tech Of Pasadena.Great job Kane.
