Jose came out for regular maintenance again today and he’s as pleasant and competent as ever. While here he also noticed some problems outside the scope of the regular service that needed attention and we were thrilled that he was prepared to make the changes and improvements while he was here instead of having to reschedule. Oftentimes they don’t have the equipment on the truck if the service wasn’t scheduled for that particular problem, but he did. He’s also really great at communicating everything so laypeople can fully understand and he takes pictures to assist our understanding as well. Thanks Jose.

This review is for the first visit by Air-Tech. Simply put, 5--star for Matt. He showed up within the promised time frame. Very professional (introduced himself, asked questions about the units to be serviced, shared what he will be doing, where he can reach me with any questions) and off he went ... Within 2 hrs, finished 3 unit maintenance, fixed the low flow issue, and sat down with my hubby to recommend on-going services. Did not try to upsell unnecessary services, in his opinion. Sent us further info after he left to let us decide. Even though Air-Tech is higher priced than the other company we used previously, we signed up for the yearly maintenance package, based on this positive experience. Will provide updates after second visit.

We have been very happy with every technician we have had with Air Tech. We had our very fancy AC system installed with another well-known company several years ago but have had nothing but problems with it. The other company strung us along, didn’t stand behind their work, and sent some techs who made me feel uncomfortable. Ever since we’ve switched to Air Tech, we got the main problem fixed (original equipment was damaged and *barely* still under warranty) and every technician we have had out for either routine maintenance or other minor issues has been thorough, efficient, personable and trustworthy. They do their best to fit us into busy schedules when possible. They have easily earned our loyalty.

I had a maintenance scheduled for a few weeks, but they were able to get me in today due to emergency. We hired Air Tech to help us with our cooling and heating needs. Jeremy G was super nice and helpful. Jeremy answered all our questions and we did not feel pressured during our consultation. The cost was reasonable. The crew led by Edwin and Sophie were on time. They too, were super nice and very pleasant to interact with. They were no nonsense when getting the job done. The unit is in the Master bedroom.Miguel, like all the techs at Air-Tech, is simply best in business with the greatest customer attitude, personality, and professional skills.Air-Tech replaced our 15 year old very reliable master bedroom Mitsubishi ductless heat pump with a new and more energy efficient one six months ago. This was the first follow-up cleaning.By the way, the old unit was also installed by Air-Tech 15 years ago. Being completely happy with Air-Tech I chose to use them again.Getting close to replacing my 24 year old central air conditioner for the rest of my house I am shooting for giving this job to Air-Tech, as well.I highly recommend Air-Tech for your A/C & heating needs.

AirTech responded quickly providing space heaters inside the home until my system could be fixed. Andrew and Miguel came out to service our AC and we couldnt have had a better experience! They were both extremely professional and friendly! More importantly they very clearly explained (with photos) a couple things they found wrong. They did their work quickly but thoroughly and when everything was finished explained again what to look out for. They gave us some optional recommendations for work that might help extend the life of our AC but gave zero pressure to do them. One of the parts they replaced was under warranty (which they pointed out, I wouldnt have even remembered) and the rate they charged otherwise was very reasonable. Happy to have found such an honest and knowledgeable team to help us out!

I received two quotes, one from Airtech and a second one. While I believe both companies could have installed an A/C system, we decided on Airtech, even though the quote was somewhat higher. I liked the details of the mini-split system that they proposed and their willingness to keep answering my questions. The installation took fours days, which was good, since we previously only had wall-mounted heaters and A/C. As part of the work they removed the old units and patched over the holes left in the walls - we cant tell where they were. As far as the new A/C, I like the installation. My original understanding is that because of tight attic space, the would have to run refrigeration lines on the outside of the house to the compressor. Thanks to their lead on the install, they got everything in the attic so it look nice and works well. I should also mention that in cutting holes and pulling out old equipment, dust is generated. However, they did an excellent job of cleaning up each day. I also liked that they wore shoe covers in our house and laid down drop cloths.

I cant say enough about how great my experience was from start to finish. Matthew came a couple of weeks ago to examine one of my units that was leaking. He offered options and I decided to replace the unit as it is over 11 years old. They were able to find a date for me during this busy hot season. Alicia kept in touch with me and even tried to move my appointment earlier for me, but I had an out-of-state relative visiting so I didnt do that. Martin and Ferdinand arrived early in the morning which was good because I knew the day was going to be hot. They were so personable and got right to work. They were patient with my two rescue dogs which were constantly barking. (They are recent rescues and we are still in the learning process.) Martin and Ferdinand finished in less than four hours, including testing the system. They left everything clean and COOL. I Called the office today to ask a question and was reminded of their excellent customer service. Alicia was as friendly and helpful as always. Air Techs service has continued to impress me since our relationship began over 11 years ago. They are golden.

We had confirmation from PWP today that our application had been approved! Had called several places and either did not receive a call back or they did not repair Fujitsu mini splits. Air Tech was great from the initial intake where they got all my information. Then someone else called back shortly to set up a time for someone to come out (next day AM). David called me about 15 minutes before arrival and also received a text from Air Tech with Davids info to ensure that I knew who was coming. They do charge a fee for someone to come out plus a lower hourly fee for any additional time after the first hour, but thats standard and the hourly fee was very reasonable. David was efficient and fixed the problem, answered all our questions and even called the manufacturer to talk to them about the possible faulty part. Was very happy with the service provided by everyone at Air Tech and also went ahead and got their maintenance service as well.

The summer nightmare no one in SoCal wants happened to us! Our ac went out in 100+ degree July weather. We had used them yrs ago and gave them a call. The whole team at Air Tech was amazing! The office staff was very nice and booked us with an asap status as my elderly mom lives with us. They did a fantastic job of replacing our noisy furnace/compressor with a Mitubishi heat pump and two blowers, one for the front half of the house and one for the back half. The new system is so quiet that we never hear it, and it keeps the temperature very comfortable.They also installed a separate, ductless Mitsubishi unit in our back living room, because that has a vaulted ceiling, and it is very quiet and efficient, too.

Great service from Air Tech today. Matthew arrived right on time and started investigating the issue immediately. I have a Mitsubishi Electric mini split system with a heat pump located outside on the roof. A few weeks ago, during the storm, power went out, and, afterwards, the system failed to work. Matthew was able to quickly isolate the problem to one of the circuit control boards inside of the heat pump assembly and replace the faulty fuses. The system worked like a champ after that. He also pointed out that the initial installation of the system was not performed in accordance with the standards, and, could potentially cause problems with the performance of the system in the future. All of my other questions were answered promptly and informatively. I would highly recommend Air Tech for anyones a/c and heater needs and I will definitely use them in the future for my a/c and heater needs.

My air conditioning unit stopped working on a weekend. I was able to live chat online with a representative in hopes that I would receive a call first thing Monday morning. I did receive the call and scheduled a service appointment. The level of communication from the initial live chat to the arrival of the technician was superb. Anthony called 20 minutes before his arrival as well as that morning to give me an approximate time. He was pleasant, professional and respectful throughout the service appointment. He determined what the problem was very quickly and had the parts available so that I didn’t have to wait or schedule another appointment. I employed Air-Tech to replace an old wall furnace heater and in wall air conditioning unit with a unified single zone dual heating and cooling application. I purchased a Mitsubishi mini split residential system. It is everything I could want in a modern Energy Star Certified heating and cooling application. It cools and heats remarkably well and is exceedingly quiet with a clean, minimal foot print. As a Mitsubishi Diamond Preferred Contractor, having my mini split installed by Air-Tech extended the manufacturer warranty by two years, from 10 years to 12 at no added cost. Alex Fish, who came to my house to give me an estimate, was very professional, forthright and knowledgeable. He was courteous, affable and easily answered all my questions. Moreover, the technicians worked quickly and cleanly making sure that they left my residence as clean as it was prior to installation. I would not hesitate to recommend Air-Tech based on my experience.

A++ for Alex Fish and Air-Tech Air Condition and Heating.I contacted Air-Tech in Spring 2021 to find out about the Mitsubishi Ductless HVAC system. Alex Fish, one of their Technicians, came to my home in Eagle Rock and made an impressive presentation of the features of the System, not only by talking about it, but by a thorough walk-through of the house, explaining in detail, how the options of the system would work. The aspect of Alexs presentation that impressed me the most was that he never tried to pressure me into a hasty decision. Just the facts, period. So I bought the system.The next stage was the installation. It was a pleasant surprise that Alex was not just the salesman, but actually guided the whole installation from beginning to end. A great service model from Air-Tech.The installation was a bit complex because I am in Raleigh, NC and the install wouldnt take place until March 2022. But Alex was great all the way. We did FaceTime meetings in which we determined the placement of the system components. It all went without a hitch thanks to his expert guidance.I now am the happy owner of the Mitsubishi Ductless System thanks to Alex Fish and all the great support people at Air-Tech.

Weve been using Air-Tech for a few years now and couldnt be happier with their service. Theyre consistently on time, professional, and do excellent quality work at extremely reasonable and competitive rates. Most recently, my AC went out on Friday prior to a 95+ degree weekend. Air Tech was able to get me on the schedule for Tuesday. I had another company visit on Monday, who quoted several hundred dollars for a bad fan motor. Eric from Air Tech was extremely thorough and inspected the full HVAC system and tested individual components. He determined the fan motor was functional but instead it was a bad capacitor (which the other company said was fine). Eric was super friendly, professional, and considerate about COVID concerns. I highly recommend Air Tech, Eric, and all of the other fantastic members of their staff.

So I have one of those window ac units in my apartments. Most of the places I had called wouldn’t service it or recommended getting a new one. Air-tech was the only place that offered to take a look and see what they could do. They called and emailed me the day before the appointment and also when an earlier slot was available. Alex, the technician who fixed my ac called to let me know when he was on his way with an ETA. He was very considerate of my furniture and space. You can tell he takes pride in his work and he’s very knowledgeable. He even took some time to show me how to clean my ac! My Heater stopped working. Air-Tech had serviced my Heater in the past, so I called them again. My Technician was Jose Acosta. About 20 minutes before his arrival, I received a Text that he was on his way. That Text included a picture of Jose, as well as a short biography. That was a nice touch. The day was rainy, and Jose was very mindful of trying not to track water and dirt in to the house. He made sure to constantly put on and take off booties as he traveled between his truck and the house. Jose quickly diagnosed the problem, explained he had a replacement part in his truck, and how much it would cost. He worked efficiently, clearly itemized what he did, clearly itemized the expenses on the Invoice, answered my questions, and hung around for a few minutes afterwards to make sure that everything was working correctly. Our home in Pasadena was pretty complicated, and not all companies were even able to provide quotes. Rod spoke knowledgeably about the system and design, and explained in detail why his strategy was going to work over others. I found them because the are Lennox-preferred, and Mitsubishi Diamond contractors. Definitely would recommend!

So many GREAT things to say about Air-Tech. First, I had a split system installed on one side of a duplex about 10 years ago. It was permitted and passed. Less than a year later I learned there were leaks/problems with it. The original installer wouldnt come back as they no longer worked in this geographical area and the European units werent being used. Thank God they recommended Air-Tech! They fixed the system and offered an annual maintenance check where they come out every 6 months and check for leaks, clean filters, etc. Their office is so wonderful about reminding me if I have forgotten to set up an appointment.Their guys are ALWAYS professional, clean and courteous.Well, two months ago the tenants in the other side of the duplex requested AC and I knew Air-Tech would be great. I called Alex out (what a super nice guy) and he came over the next day I think. I remember it was a Saturday. Since the price of these system had gone up substantially from when I bought it ten years I was shocked. I signed the contract and gave him a deposit but after talking to BF he suggested I get other bids for something that expensive. I called Alex and asked him to put my project on hold for a week while I looked at bids. I think he was surprised because I knew them and the system but I felt like I needed to be prudent. He wasnt rude or short. He was very respectful.The other companys estimators were pleasant enough and I learned about some options for a second gas heating system that I wanted installed at another location. The other companys prices were similar. One added a city inspection which I was doing as an added cost ot Air-Techs price and the other company added five years of maintenance onto their price. So the prices were a bit higher. I knew Id be purchasing the maintenance services from Air-Tech so I knew how that compared. I called Alex back about a week later and said: Lets go. Thank you for the time to check around and feel confident.Armando and Andrew have installed the systems this week and I could NOT BE HAPPIER. I am amazed that Armando knows so much about electrical, gas and mechanical systems. Andrew is very helpful and knowledgeable and quick to make sure things are clean. Every time someone has come out from Air-Tech they are nice, neat, respectful and focused on their work. They arent taking calls on their phone, they arent talking excessively, etc.ANYWAY, as part of the installation for the gas wall heater they discovered that there are two gas leaks under the raised property. Someone had installed temporary shut off valves for two previously serviced gas units (a floor furnace and radiator we think). Yikes! Air-Tech was supposed to be done with ALL the work yesterday and while its not as convenient to be at the property another day I am so thankful that they found the leak and are fixing them without charging me any money! How can they do that? I think its because they know Im a loyal customer. Ill be purchasing the maintenance contracts. Thank you Alex, Armando and Andrew. So happy to be working with you!

Our 30+ year-old heater stopped working since the hit of heavy rain recently. We called several companies to give us the quotation of the replacement. Access sent Eric for the project, he was extremely thorough for checking our current unit, duct condition, total room size, house insulation, electrical capacity, etc.. Furthermore, he went out of his way to help us trouble-shooting and fixed a problem of our EV charger that the original installer (a licensed electrician who turned out to be a scammer) failed to fix and refused to trouble-shoot. He also answered all our questions with patience and honesty. Although our heater miraculously resurrected now after the weather dried up. We will definitely call them back when the time comes that we need to replace our unit.

From the first visit by Alex to the end of the job, the Air-Tech people provided excellent service. The installation was exceptionally well done, clean, minimal disruption to us, expert utilization of the electrical and space conditions of our house, and passing all external tests for capacity and city approvals. The Mitsubishi unit performs at a far higher level of efficiency than we had anticipated. We are completely satisfied in every way with this addition to our upstairs bedroom, which is quiet, cools exceptionally well, and enables us to enjoy our master bedroom in 100 + degree weather.
