I am worked with a lot of air-conditioning companies making repairs on my house over the years, some good, some very very bad. After finding Air Current to fix My evaporator coil problem, I will never, ever use anyone else. This company really is unbelievable in its service and quality. Highly recommend Stan, Marco, Adam and the Air Current team! Our AC went out and after getting an outrageously expensive quote, we called Air Current at 9 pm on a Friday night and got a call back at 7:30 am Saturday morning and their team arrived at our house before 10 am. Very responsive, timely, and professional. Marco was able to identify the issue and make a recommendation quickly and accurately. They fixed our AC in like 3 hours which included going and buying a new outdoor unit and installing it.

I have worked with Air Current for over 3 years, starting when they replaced my air conditioner after it had gone out during the coronavirus. They fixed my immediate problem and also upgraded my 10 year old unit, working hard through the supply chain issues to obtain a new unit. Since then, they have provided scheduled maintenance and kept my unit in good condition and also helped upgrade my monitoring capabilities when I am away from home. They are knowledgeable, responsive and dependable in an emergency or in a normal check up and look forward to working with them for years to come.

Ive been using Air Currents services for the past 12 years and was always pleased with their competence and immediate response. When time came to replace all my AC/heating system, I naturally trusted them to do the job and they did not disappoint. Very impressed by the whole team! 6 persons total, who worked very hard in difficult conditions (Texas summers are brutal and they were under the sun or in an attic on a 3rd floor for a whole day) . They made sure the A/C part would be up and running at the end of the first day and returned the following morning to finish the heating installation. They will take care of all the paperwork for warranty, tax credit etc... 5 stars!

Had a leaky evaporator coil that needed replacement on a Lennox system that had been down for a week in the middle of the crazy heat. Was given the round around even by the folks who installed the system. Stan promptly called me back and set things up for the service. He and his team (Adam and Marcos) did an outstanding job! They were truly awesome! Seemed eager to get me back running and clearly took pride in their work.It is challenging these days to find businesses that are competent, honest and willing to help at heart, particularly when you are in a pinch. Very glad I found Air Current and looking forward for them to service my HVAC needs in the future. Highly recommended!

After three failed attempts with two other AC vendors, Air Current actually found that upstairs unit outside compressor was filthy and thus causing the unit to throw an error code each day in the heat of the day. They were also able to confirm we need to replace the Lennox S30 Thermostat/Smart Hub which was not connecting to the wifi. With their repair to the outside unit, we are able to get a little more time until we update the IControl S30 to S40s.Stan was prompt in giving us a bid to do that. James and Cameron were our repair people. They were extremely professional and pointed out some errors the prior people had made who also installed the unit….not cleaning the unit having problems….not putting end caps back on…installing the Smart Hubs on the attic metal furnace.I will be using them for my A/C needs now. I am totally impressed with their service.

Air Current is a top-notch company. At one time, the owner, Stan Villavaso, worked with Perry Slocumb of Air Rite Heating and Air Conditioning and then went on to form his own company, Air Current. He had helped install my furnace while working with Perry so I was pleasantly surprised to find him again. I called on a Monday morning because my AC was not functioning properly. Stan came out the same day at the appointed time and diagnosed the problem. He gave me the option to repair the 26-year-old unit or install a new system. I elected to install a new heating and AC system. In the meantime, he temporarily fixed my AC unit until the new unit could be installed. Five days later, on the following Saturday, he came and installed the new system. He came at the appointed time and the whole process took less time than he originally planned. He said he always allows for more time in the event it is needed. They are very reliable, prompt (always on time), trustworthy and gave me a fair and reasonable price. I highly recommend this company and will to continue to do business with them in the future.

I called to schedule a heating check and they were able to see me in just a few days and gave me a two hour window for the appointment. On the day of the appointment they called in advance so I knew they were coming.They were very professional and took care to keep my home clean. They were quick with the inspection of my old unit and found a problem with the circuit. They were able to locate the part and came back that same day within hours of the initial service time. The total cost came to the lower end of their estimate.I am very happy and will be using them again but also recommending them to my neighbors.

Called Stan on Wednesday morning and service man came on that same day and took extensive pictures so I could see the problems. Stan called me on Thursday and recommended a new unit rather than putting new parts on an old unit. I agreed and by Friday afternoon everything was installed and working great! Stan also sent in all the paperwork for the warranty and provided me a copy right away! I couldn’t be happier. Excellent job!

I worked with James of the Air Current team to do a pretty substantial project:- Removed existing ducts, trunk line, boxes and some registers- Cleaned some registers and replaced others- Replaced the Condenser Unit and Compressor Coil- Installed a new Pur Air system- Added a new return air to one side of our houseJames was super responsive, professional, attentive and knowledgeable. He took his time during the quote. Taking humidity readings, taking pictures of all of the existing HVAC equipment in the house and also inspected some of the boxes, ducts and registers.We also had many specific requests for James about where ducts would and would not go so that we could finish up adding decking and insulation to the attic once they finished the job. James listened and offered a number of ideas to meet our needs. We chose one of his ideas and it has been very good.We had quotes from other vendors that were cheaper but lacked warranties on the labor or parts. They also lacked the experience that James and his team have. I think James and Stan have a good 40-50 years of experience as HVAC contractors between the two of them. For me it was the professionalism of James that made us choose him. We are very happy with the job.James and his team completed the job within two working days and charged exactly what the quote was. One thing that James emphasized was that he would not give us a quote that was inaccurate or underestimated. At the same time he worked with us to find common sense ways to reduce the scope the cost.About a week after the job I was in the attic and noticed that a few of the connections between the ducts and plenums were leaking air and condensing. I also noticed that there was a slight electric drop after the Condenser fired up. So I called James and he sent a crew to seal up the leaks and install a capacitor to reduce the electric drop free of charge.It is now getting into the dog days of summer and we could not be happier with the job that was done. The bottom line is that it was obvious that James took pride in his work.
