Fast, thorough, and friendly! I had an issue with my AC not giving cold air. I called Advanced Air Conditioning and they sent a tech out the same day. The tech, Justin, was able to quickly identify the issue with my new thermostat. This issue was resolved very quickly by adjusting the wiring. Then Justin wanted to confirm everything was working. He ran a few tests inside / outside the house replacing any parts, but explained the reasoning why before making any changes. Overall, Im happy with choosing Advanced Air Conditioning for my issue, and glad the team responded quickly!

Just had my Furnace and Compressor serviced by Advanced AC. The technician, Bruce, did a great job. He called ahead as expected and was also extremely polite, professional, and timely. I had an emergency service request at 7pm to replace the capacitor on my A/C unit. I called 5 companies from Google that claimed 24/7 service. None of them could come out until the following day, and it was already over 80 degrees inside my house. This happened to be the 6th company I contacted. The office told me that someone would call me back about service, and I thought, great... how long is this going to take? Less than 5 minutes later, Justin calls me and says, Im leaving immediately and Im less than 30 minutes from you. Justin was a pleasure to deal with. Professional, respectful, and very knowledgeable! He had cold air blowing through our vents in less than 15 minutes. We slept great last night! I highly recommend Justin, and this company for any heating and A/C work you need done!

I needed a general assessment of the HVAC units of a house I just bought. And installation of smart thermostats. Coel came the first time and completed everything in a reasonable time. He was kind and patient to address all of my questions. The thermostats worked perfectly after being installed and he showed me how to link them with the app. He explained must-have and nice-to-have repairs and improvements. He came a second time to clean up the units coils and recharge the refrigerant.To summarize: very professional, extremely punctual and very nice to interact with. The job got done as expected. Very good value for money overall.Update:I hired them again to replace 2 aging units. I went with a variable speed equipment.Extremely satisfied with the installation work. Installers were professional, tidy and patient. Orlando, Kyle and Joe were great. They answered all my questions and showed me what I needed to know to keep the drain lines clean. They worked tirelessly for two days straight to change both of my units. They had to disassemble and reassemble the equipment to make it fit through the attic door, and went the extra mile replacing a duct through a small crawl space. Cant ask for more.

Two years ago I got 3 quotes to replace our AC. Charles was by far the most knowledgeable representative that came out and patiently explained everything I needed to know. We chose to hold off on replacing the entire unit. Now two years later reached out, very glad Charles was still there, got a quote that was a great value, then Bruce and team installed beautifully and very efficiently (they were actually done 3 hours earlier than expected, we werent home, and they took the time to clean up and lock the doors when they left).Overall Advanced AC I believe is the best value. They were not the least expensive, but were very close. We chose Advanced AC because of the overall value and specifically because of Charles.Our two-stage system is setup and running perfectly, and we noticed an immediate difference in our two-story house. The upstairs is as cold as the downstairs. Couldnt be happier.

Hi All!While I love most things about my GFO home, there are a few challenges I’ve faced. One of the more frustrating ones has been my HVAC system, particularly with unbalanced heating and cooling in my home. The biggest issue is that while most of the house stays comfortable, my daughter’s room becomes too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. After trying three different companies without success, I finally found a group of professionals who not only understood the issue but also provided a solution and explained it in a way I could easily grasp. The company is called Advanced Air Conditioning and Heating.Here’s what I learned from these fine people:Your HVAC system starts with return ducts, which are flexible tubes or conduits that pull air from your rooms back into the system. This air flows into the return plenum, a chamber where I installed a filter a few years ago to replace the builder’s original inlet filtration system. The return plenum directs air into the air handler, or furnace, which is the system’s core. Inside the air handler, a blower fan pressurizes and circulates the air. For heating, the air passes over a heat exchanger, warming it with gas, electricity, or another energy source. For cooling, the air moves through an evaporator coil, where refrigerant absorbs heat, lowering the air’s temperature. The conditioned air then flows into the supply plenum, a box-like chamber that distributes it into the supply ducts.When air exits the blower, it’s fast-moving and chaotic, creating turbulence. The supply plenum’s job is to calm this chaotic airflow, converting it into steady, evenly distributed static pressure. This static pressure is what pushes the air effectively through the supply ducts, which are often long, flexible columns that lead to the vents in each room. Proper duct placement is key to ensuring efficient airflow. Surprisingly, placing ducts close to the air handler, which might seem logical, actually reduces airflow. This is because the air near the blower is still turbulent and hasn’t stabilized. These ducts rely on dynamic pressure, which is less effective than static pressure for distributing air. Additionally, high-velocity air tends to bypass nearby ducts, creating dead zones of weak airflow. In contrast, ducts positioned farther along the supply plenum benefit from stabilized pressure, resulting in stronger, more consistent airflow.To improve system performance, it’s important to space ducts evenly along the supply plenum, attach them to the sides instead of the top, and, when needed, use dampers which are movable plates inside the ducts. to fine-tune airflow. This ensures a balanced system that serves all rooms effectively. Finally, the air circulates back to the return system, completing the cycle.In my case, the builders made several choices that contributed to the imbalance in my daughter’s room. They placed the duct on the supply plenum too close to the air handler, where turbulence is highest. They also attached it to the top instead of the side of the plenum and used only one branching duct to supply her room instead of installing two direct ducts from the supply plenum.If you’re experiencing a similar issue, I recommend giving Advanced Air Conditioning and Heating a call at 512-382-6745. That said, you might want to wait a week and I’ll provide an update once I’ve had a chance to confirm if their redesign works as planned. Remind me if I fail to do this….

I called Advanced Air Conditioning and Heating after reading their fabulous Yelp reviews. Our AC went out on a Saturday night and for $89 I could have had them come out on Sunday to work on it. I chose to wait, but its good to know you can get help IMMEDIATELY if you really need it. Clayton arrived Monday morning (even ahead of schedule!) and was AWESOME. He spent several hours at our house and really took the time to trouble shoot a weird situation by calling the AC manufacturer. He was friendly, extremely professional, and was able to answer all my questions. Honestly, I realized how little I know about maintaining my 2 AC systems so I was more than happy to sign up for the annual maintenance plan since it probably would have prevented my issue in the first place. I really TRUST these guys, and by the time Clayton left me and the kids felt like he was an old family friend- haha!

Amazing service! Just as the temps heated up last weekend, the blower motor went out on our AC. Coel quickly determined that the unit was under warranty. However, the part itself was on backorder for several weeks. These guys did not leave us stranded. They went above & beyond to track down the part, finally procuring a replacement part in way south Austin (during rush hour no less) in order to complete the repair ASAP. We greatly appreciate the work they put in & finally feel we have a company we can trust. Highly recommend!

If I could add more than 5 stars I would. I had received a few quotes from various HVAC companies to completely overhaul our HVAC system. By far Charles had the most thorough quote of the bunch. When you deal with a large expense as a new HVAC its best to make sure every single question you have is answered and they absolutely answered all of my questions. Better yet, they followed through with every item that was on the quote. The install took 2 days of hard work and man my house feels amazing.We upgraded the size of our unit, went with the smart thermostats and the other UV upgrades. Charles noticed the baffles above the unit had been leaking and causing issues from the previous owners. Nobody else went into the attic to check them, nobody else quoted new ones to help alleviate our allergies and fix the efficiency issues we have been having the last year. Charles took the time to check everything to make sure we got all of our bases covered so there wasnt anything missed.Charles and the Advanced team really knocked it out of the park. The techs were all very professional. They put down drop cloths on our floor and stayed late to make sure the install was complete.Once again, many thanks to Charles, the techs and everyone who helped make this a very easy, problem free experience. Our A/C went out around midnight in the middle of this record-breaking heat.I called Advanced Air Conditioning the same night after seeing online that they are local and take calls 24-7.I didnt get someone here that same night but I got a call back at 8am telling me that someone was on the way.Help arrived around 8:30ish and fixed my A/C unit on the spot. The air was running within half an hour.I think they did all they could in the fastest manner possible. I was very satisfied with the service that I bought their yearly plan to check my heater in the winter and A/C in the summer and got 20% off my bill, which I thought was reasonable.

Ive used Advanced AC twice. Ive found that they are extremely honest with their work. One time I had had an inspector come in from another company (a home inspector company that also provided fixed) who said one of my ACs was blowing at 81 degrees. Advanced came in, tested everything and let me know the unit in question was actually blowing fine and the prior company must have tested the heat, switched on the AC and then didnt wait for the prior heated air to blow out the vent shafts. They also fixed a little part the other company identified as being off and told me it wasnt really a fix, but just putting something back where it should be, and didnt charge me for it. Absolutely the best experience. I was so impressed with Joe and his team. I’ve been overdue for a new AC unit for a while and of course on the hottest days it stopped working. When calling the after-hour service, Bruce came 35 minutes later. Wow! And unfortunately, he confirmed that there isn’t much he can do. I’ve asked regarding an estimate for a new unit and he advised to call the office in the morning to set up an appointment. I spent the better part of today trying to get a hold of the company that originally installed our unit so we could get a warranty repair. Ok, fine well Joe contacted me in 15 minutes and said he would be here shortly because he was completing a job in Leander. I told Joe what the issue was and he knew right away what needed to be done! Long story short, Joe replaced the bad capacitor and also noticed my Freon was low (in a year old new HVAC system!! I will DEAL with them come Monday), so he charged and now my system works better then when it was installed last August! KUDOS to Advanced Air Conditioning and Heating!! These guys are the real deal! Courteous and professional. My home air conditioner stopped blowing cold on August 1st. Called Advanced Air Conditioning and Heating after hours fulling expecting to encounter a long phone-tree, but nope, they answered the phone and scheduled an appointment to come out the following day. They offered to come out that night but Instead we agreed on the next day between 5 & 7 P.M. The technician Joe called me the next day to give me an update and then called me at 5:00 P.M., to tell me he and his assistant, Spencer, were on their way. Joe and Spencer arrived a few minutes later and went right to work fixing the problem and like magic cool air was restored.I can’t say enough good things about Advanced Air Conditioning and Heating, and especially Joe and Spencer. They knew their stuff and what I really appreciated was they didn’t try to up-sell me and put in stuff I didn’t need. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. We spent almost an entire week getting the run around from other companies and couldnt even get one of them to give us an estimate. This is one of the first reviews I have ever written, but this company deserves it. Our AC was not working upstairs so we went on Next-door and looked at reviews. We called Joe Martel with Advanced Air Conditioning and Heating. We moved in our house two years ago and expected the worst because we had been told wed need a new unit soon after move in. Joe was able to come on short notice on a Saturday. After a thorough examination of our units in which he cleaned them and checked everything, he determined that we only needed a new capacitor. Joe was friendly, honest, and was not trying to rip us off. We are finally happy to know we have someone we trust to deal with our HVAC issues.

In May 2021 did HVAC tune up via one of the HomeDepots vendor and found leak in system. I turned down the leak search from the vendor as quoted price seems expensive for me. I shutdown the system and started looking in Google/Yelp for HVAC servicing companies around my area. I was disappointed by few HVAC servicing companies for not providing leak search quotes as was told need to verify for leak again and then only quote for leak search can be provided. I am okay with re-verifying leak but not knowing the price for leak search was not acceptable.I had very good experience with Advanced Air Conditioning and Heating. In the initial phone call on 6/14/2021 they provided the exact quotes for service charge and leak search. On the next day 6/15/2021, Bruce (Comfort Specialist) went through the earlier diagnostic report and patiently listened to the HVAC history (which I documented). During leak search he found the issue (indoor evaporator coil has a shredder valve that was leaking and missing the cap) and fixed it (tightened up the core and put a cap on the valve). Since the system was low on refrigerant, ended up with filling around 4 pounds of refrigerant. Service fee and valve fix fees were waived and I was only charged for leak search and refrigerant refill. He did explain to me the core issue and provided me with the probable cause. I am very impressed with Bruces professionalism. Highly recommended and will call them next time if faced with any issue related to HVAC.

Our master bedroom was between 7 and 10 degrees warmer than the rest of the house. We called Joe to come out and the first thing he did was bump our blower motor speed up to see if that would help at all. The temperature in our room dropped a few degrees, but not enough for comfort. He recommended adding a second return and supply vent to our room. He was able to get those installed in less than two hours and let me tell you, the temperature change is SIGNIFICANT. Were now sleeping in a cool room and he performed the job for a very reasonable price. If you have any a/c related concerns or issues, call Joe!

Texas heat can truly break your first world pampered spirit after a long day, when you’ve finally put the kids down for bed, and realize everyone is unusually sweaty. You struggle to remember your gratitude practices as you discover the relatively new and expensive AC unit isn’t running. And then Advanced AC comes quickly and deals with it with kindness and without forcing you to reimagine your financial goals. That’s pretty good.
