    Earlier today we had a technician come out from Frymire that claimed our fan motor was bad and that they would replace the motor and condenser however, we were recommended this company and decided to get another quote after speaking to Carlos over the phone and he said he would come out to check out the ac unit and after checking it out we were informed it was the capacitor which was why the fan motor was also not working and that there was nothing wrong with the condenser. Not only was he able to fix our unit the same day Carlos also showed us what to look for if our condenser was starting to go bad which we absolutely liked. The tech was also honest with us about what was wrong with our unit and saved us money unlike Frymire who told us the wrong information and wanted us spending more money. We were 100% satisfied with our service and would recommend this company to anyone else as well. -Frank and Alicia Aguirre

    I recommend A/C Kives for their professional and expert work. A/C Kives recently installed my new a/c unit. I bought my house 16 years ago. After servicing my unit before each fall and summer, each it became clear my unit needed to be replaced. My house was never the same temperature in every room until now! The team left my home clean and made sure I knew how to program the thermostat before leaving. Before my new unit, A/C Kives serviced my old unit before fall and summer. They are reasonable and offer extended warranty. Plus they are a family owed company. Best A/C service I’ve ever used. I had two other companies before A/C Kives. I have never had such excellent service.

    I’ve been working with A/C Kives for 3 years. They are reliable, quick , and efficient. I am always amazed that they remember details about my system. They are always responsive during emergencies. Yesterday they helped me trouble shoot a clogged AC pipe over the phone, so that I could get my AC unit working. Then showed up today to clear the pipe. No charge. The best is seeing a father son team. Really a nice family business.

    I was so pleased with the service I received from this company A/C Kives. They were so professional in providing information on what needed to be done for the replacement of my heating and air conditioning system. Alex, Carlos and their team came on time and completed the install in a timely manner. I have dealt with other AC companies but these guys by far are the best. I highly recommend if you need Heating or A/C install or service A/C Kives Alex and Carlos are your best option.

    This father and son came out to our home just as they said they would in the time they said they was to arrive. Was up front on what was wrong with our unit got the part for our unit next day and installed it within 20 minutes. Gave me tips on how the do regular maintenance and when unit should be served. I will recommen this company to ANYONE that has issues with their A/C HVAC system. My wife says these guys are THE BOMB DOT COM👍🏾

    Carlos and his son at A/C Kives are fantastic! They are honest and more than ethical, always taking the high road at the expense of profit. They have helped me numerous times, always when I felt helpless and was in semi-desperate need, when my AC was out during the Texas summer heat, or my heater not working in the brutal winter cold. On more than one occasion Carlos has offered a gracious act to help me troubleshoot my own issues if it is something rather simple that does not require a service call. Just today, after my heater was blowing cold air Carlos got on video with me and showed be how to clean out a tube with a needle that ended up fixing my issue. When I offered to pay for the troubleshooting advice he would not allow it. On other occasions when over the phone troubleshooting could not fix the issue he came out on the weekend and gave me fair and honest pricing. It is truly a pleasure to find people that do the right thing and work hard. I 100% recommend Carlos and A/C Kives whenever you are in need.

    Kives Heating & Air Conditioning came out to my house to check a wall furnace that was very noisy, going bang, bang, bang waking me up several times a night. They inspected it and found nothing broken, but they showed me the reviews on this wall furnace that showed extremely noisy. I ask how else I could heat my home. They showed me space heaters such as Mr. Heater. They were NOT selling them, just answering my question on how else I could heat my home. I purchased one on line and Kives Heating & Air Conditioning came out and installed it. And they did a wonderful professional job. They were even able to leave the loud wall furnace working if I needed it for extreme serious 0 type weather. I am very grateful for their help and their knowledge. They did an excellent job!

    Carlos and his crew came and installed a large commercial a/c heater unit for my home. They did an excellent job and Carlos went above and beyond to help with any questions or concerns I had.I purchased a Daiken unit which Carlos explained was a good quality brand and it is so quiet inside and outside. I would highly recommend Caros and his crew to help you with any a/c or heating issues you may have. I think He is one of the best people in the business!He stayed on the phone with me for long periods of time, explaining everything in detail prior to me purchasing the unit.He also came back and installed some vent covers on the unit that it didn’t come with and helped me with any questions or concerns i had about that and explain more about the unit to me.He is very knowledgeable.I would highly recommend A/C Kives for all of your heating and air-conditioning needs.!

    Hands down best service and integrity!My outside unit went out due to old age and good old Texas heat in August. And as luck would have it, it was a Friday mid morning. I called numerous AC companies, including all the ones that advertise on TV. No one would come out the same day. All of them said it would be later the following week before they could come over.My wifes friend highly recommended A/C Kives so I called them. I was not expecting them to come out since no one else would. However, to my surprise, they said they could be there in 90 minutes. They arrived on time as committed. I was treated with the utmost dignity and respect. I was given several options, and replacing the unit was the option I chose. A/C Kives also gave me a price that was several thousand dollars cheaper than all the other quotes, and they also gave me a better quality unit than other companies.I was blown away with how much pride they took in their work. They replaced my old broken unit the same day and did a great job cleaning up. They tested all my wiring inside and out to make sure everything else was safe and in good working order. They stayed to make sure my house cooled off and also gave me training on now to reset the unit when it goes into protect mode if there is a power surge.I cant say enough about how pleased I am with A/C Kives. If you need ANY A/C work I highly recommend and encourage you to call A/C Kives. I promise you they will exceed your expectations as well!

The level of care they put into their work is unmatched. They not only replaced my a/c unit but they also replaced the thermostat and made sure I knew how to operate it properly.     Carlos and his team are awesome! I called them for preventative maintenance and they were able to fit me into their schedule the same day. They really take the time to explain to you what they are doing and how the system works. They prefer you watch over them working so they can teach you about the system and show you what levels things are supposed to be at. They use advanced digital tools and gauges to make everything very clear. Their prices are reasonable. I will absolutely call A/C Kives again for future service needs.

    Carlos and crew were absolutely OUTSTANDING. We called them based on an estimate we received from another larger company and that recommended we spend a significant amount of $ to improve our systems. Carlos immediately came out, did not charge me a trip charge and examined our system explaining everything in detail.In the end, NONE of the expensive work from the larger company was required. We had A/C Kives install two UV lights to improve our air quality. Carlos spent lots of time installing and explaining the system.These folks are awesome and I would absolutely recommend them over other larger companies.Thank you Carlos!

    Carlos came out late Sunday evening and drove over an hour to help us after not having a/c for several days. We had been trying to go through home warranty and got an inexperienced hvac tech. But luckily Carlos to the rescue! He had our ac up and going in a matter of minutes! I have found it is not easy to find someone who really knows what they are doing and how to properly troubleshoot and work with the homeowners on finding the issue and fixing it! We really enjoyed learning from Carlos and have some valuable information for the future. And now we know who to call 1st if we have any hvac issues in the future!     We called because it was hot upstairs. They came over and explained everything to my husband. Since we are new home buyers and have never had an air unit to take care of we needed help. They were very helpful and came the same day. I couldn’t ask for more. We will be using them in the future!!We had another A/C and thermostat issue. Carols was great. Problem was fixed fast and efficient and again explaining as he went. He is honest and affordable. I said in my last review we would use them again, we did, and we will!! Thank you!!!

    This is the absolute most honest hard working group ever. If you need an honest a/c guy check them out. Not only that, they do quality work and clean up after themselves. I have had a brand new unit and duct work installed in our old house and now when our brand new home had a so called builder warranty that turned out not to be anything more than a ploy for us to give them more money, my husband called KIVES and they came out the same day diagnosed the issue and had us taken care of for less than the quote from our builders contractor. Bottom line... call them first and you wont be disappointed!

    Ive used this company on two separate occasions for issues with my AC (years apart) and each time they came out same day to help with my issues. Theyre always friendly and professional and they walk you through each test they do and explain what the values mean. They fixed my problem quickly and it stayed fixed. Theyre prices are really reasonable too. I recommend them to my friends whenever someone mentions having a problem with their AC and I plan to keep using them for the foreseeable future.

    Very kind and knowledgeable! Quick, speedy service and even taught the husband a few tips and tricks if this situation ever occurs again! He truly cares about his customers! When asked if we were his last stop he said that we werent and then we apologized that he wasnt going home. Then he said I dont mind. I would feel terrible if someone needed me and I didnt go out to help them... and I got to stay in my nice, cool homeThey have earned another lifetime customer!

    My grandmother air went out we had 5 other A/C guys come out to attempt to fix it. Carlos and his crew changed out a small part inside the air regulator. He only charged for the part. How nice is that? My grandmother (which is on fix income) is very appreciative for the goodwill Carlos has done. They also showed us the previous A/C guys mistake, they installed a 2.5 ton when they should have installed a 3 or 3.5 ton for the size of the house. Now she is a lot cooler then before. THANKS!
