I strongly suggest your next home purchase be inspected by Mike & Mike. They are fast, professional, and even give a discount to the military. I was able to have two inspections completed in one month by them. The first was able to save me from making a 100K mistake and the second allowed me to hold builders of a home accountable for work they failed to complete. If you want a detailed and easy-to-read inspection completed this is your stop. I will 100% be using them next year when I purchase my next property.

Michael did a thorough home inspection on my new build. Lots of builders cut corners or there’s always defects that are not visible with just 20/20 vision and an experienced Home Inspector is always needed. Along with the basic inspection i opted in for a sewer scope that potentially saved me thousands of dollars due to a belly in my sewer line that was all covered under builder warranty . I’m glad we used Veteran Home Inspections for our home inspection. Definitely recommend them to future home buyers. Thank you for y’all’s service.

This was my first time using this company and Mike made the experience quite easy. He was very thorough in his inspection and took the time to explain all aspects of the inspection to me. Veteran Home Inspections is excellent! We did our initial home inspection with them before we bought the home, and their report made it so the builders fixed everything they had done wrong. We knew we had to go with them for our 11-month warranty inspection, and because of that initial inspection, our home was in tip-top shape. Many neighbors can’t say the same since they didn’t go with Veteran Home inspections from the beginning. Mike is so great; he was extremely friendly and excellent at explaining everything we had questions about.

While I wasnt personally at my inspection my realtor was.Mike was extremely thorough and gave a lot of immediate feedback which was reassuring in the quality of his inspections and knowledge.A big stand out for me was Mike found significant evidence of termite infestation and to include a live colony of termites! Which I originally had paid a separate pest control company to do a termite inspection to which they reported no signs of termites.Thankfully this saved me from closing on a house with an active termite infestation.I received my report the same day and I felt it was very thorough while also providing information about why something would need repair.

Mike came out to do testing and develop remediation protocols for our contractors to follow. We called on Monday and had a full remediation protocol finalized by Wednesday (including lab results). He did a very thorough job and was communicative throughout the process when our contractor had questions. He gave frank impressions throughout and was good with holding our contractors accountable to ensure they were following protocols he outlined. It was refreshing in the bill it and move on culture to have someone who took the time to genuinely care about the job being done right.I wish we knew about VHI when we had our initial home inspection. I bet it would have saved us a fair bit of headache.

I have now used this company three times. Three times, they saved me from making a very costly decision. Believe me, when you see a house on your own, there is too much emotion and positive bias which can prevent you from seeing obvious issues. I simply will not consider purchasing a house without a professional inspection, and this company provides that in aces. The company has a very organized, efficient and extremely knowledgeable staff. The inspectors always explained the findings very well. Their report was well written and thorough and was provided within hours of completing the inspection. I have learned that this team is far more thorough than most because the Veterans Administration has higher standards, which these guys clearly meet and exceed. There may be cheaper inspections to be had, but it would be a mistake to make a decision based on that thought.

I am a Realtor. We depend on Home Inspections so that we can protect our clients both on selling and buying a home. I scheduled a home inspection for Tuesday, but due to circumstances had to move it out one day. My client actually was the one that moved the date and he scheduled the inspection using the website. When I arrived at the home, I met up with Mike Monserrat and he informed me that the only item in the inspection order was a home inspection.This home is in the country side of Bandera and it contains a septic tank, it also gets its water from a well. The client is a Veteran that is using a VA Loan which also requires a Wood Destroying Insect inspection. I accepted the blame for those other items not being in the order. I should have checked what my client ordered, it is my job, client was only trying to help.Mike got on his phone and not only did he added those items needed for the inspection, he got help to complete the job on time. I was very happy and impressed with the ability that the company had to make it happen. But when the help arrived, and I find out that it is the Owner of the company that came to help, well that should tell everyone how committed they are about their work.All inspections were completed except for one. They needed more time and did not have the equipment needed to complete it. We have scheduled it before the option period is up and the client and not to mention I, are very satisfied. Recently, I had a property inspected by Michael Marlow (owner) of Veteran Home Inspections. I am a first time homebuyer and this is the first inspection that I have had done, so I cannot compare his services to any past experience. What I can say is that Michael was on time, thorough in his inspection, happy to answer my questions, and had some impressive equipment in his arsenal. At the end of his inspection, I had a much better idea of the current issues the property had, what would likely need to be replaced in the next few years, and steps that I could take to avoid future deterioration of the property. Shortly after his inspection, I received a detailed report of his findings that included photographs to clearly illustrate what he was talking about. I appreciate the job he did and would recommend that anyone in need of an inspection utilize his services.

This team was great, they were punctual and very thorough on the inspection. They have this really cool sewer line scope which they can run through the lines to find leaks and any problems in the line, which saved me bigtime when they discovered the leaks present in the home I was about to buy. I contacted Veterans Home Inspections on a late Friday afternoon, and they came out the following Tuesday morning. His inspection was very thorough and he pointed out things that I would have passed up. We received our inspection report the day. We will be utilizing his services for our final inspection.

By far one of the most professional businesses Ive ever used. I was able to schedule a home inspection for the next day and received my inspection report within 6 hours of the inspector completing the inspection. They answered my questions and showed me what to look out for. They really took care of me. I stand by these good men and woman and trust their work.

Mike and Jaime came heavily recommended. Within 48 hours of our request for a property walk through in consideration of a 203k loan we were all on site for a walk through. Even further the estimation was delivered to us within 72 hours of the walk through. If there are 30 difficult check marks to get through in considering a 203k renovation loan, Veteran Home Loan was not one of them. They were even more helpful in several other recommendations and once we get started on our home renovation dreams they will always be there to help us all the way through to completion. What a fantastic experience.
