Im a first-time home buyer and was referred to Gentry Giles for my home inspection. He did a thorough inspection, took time to review his findings, and answered all my questions. My home has a stucco exterior, which is new to me, and he thoroughly explained all the ins and outs of stucco construction and maintenance. His mini-tutorial was invaluable for educating me on how to care for my new home. Gentry is very knowledgeable and explained things in a way that made sense to this novice homeowner. I appreciated his attention to detail and his availability to respond to my questions even a couple of weeks after the inspection. Excellent service! Gentry did a truly outstanding job! His website was incredible easy to use to schedule my inspection, his follow-up was immediate, and his thoroughness during the inspection was impressive. We are purchasing the home we have been renting and living in for two years now, and he showed us things about the house that we hadnt even noticed while living here! His explanations of his findings were straightforward, clear, and reassuring - he made a very anxious process much more peaceful. Best of all, his rates are among the best Amarillo has to offer, and my wife and I both believe we got more than we paid for in Gentrys inspection. We called Tumbleweed per our real estate agent. Gentry came and did our inspection as soon as we asked and did an amazing job. He took me around to show me where and what needed to be fixed. He even took the time to show me how to work our new fireplace (which I had no clue how to do) He explained everything in detail and gave suggestions. I would recommend them ten times over. I purchased a home as an investment and for my daughter to live in while attending Vet School (Wreckem Raider Vets!) in Amarillo. Living in the DFW area makes it difficult to really trust in contractors and the like without really getting to know them first. Gentry at Tumbleweed was such a great find in helping us with our home inspection. Totally thorough with a very detailed report showing all the concerns and the should be looked at type things that came up.
