Town and Country Property Inspections did a great job with my home inspection. Chris was very thorough and efficient. He was also very helpful and answered all of our questions. One of the things I would recommend everyone do is to ask Chris to do a walkthrough of your inspection with you. The walkthrough gave us a better understanding of the report which allowed us to make a better informed assessment of our purchase. I would recommend Town and Country Property Inspections to anyone who needs a home inspection and wants the job done the correct way!

Chris Ivy was a fantastic home inspector. As a first time home buyer, it gave me great peace of mind to know he had so much experience going into the inspection. While I didn’t end up going with the house inspected, the level of detail and depth of the report solidified my feeling that Chris Ivy is somebody I would call again in a heartbeat to inspect any potential home for me and any family that might be buying. Along with the in-depth official report, through conversation he provided a lot of context for the home buying/selling market in the area and helped give me a better understanding of what I might encounter with other houses/situations in the area. Since I was coming from out of state that was extremely helpful and I’m glad we had that chance to talk. Overall, I am extremely pleased with my experience and would absolutely recommend Chris Ivy’s inspection services to anybody.

He completed a thorough inspection on the property I am about to purchase and went over all of his findings with me at the home before I paid him. Over the course of purchasing a house this year my wife and I asked Chris to do three different home inspections for us. We really appreciated working with him and would recommend him to anyone looking for an excellent home inspector. I thought the level of his documentation and topic focus was thorough and I feel he went a step above home inspections wed had in the past. We especially appreciated his level of documentation on crawlspace/foundation inspection.

I picked Town & Country based on other reviews, and I am so glad I did. Chris was super easy to communicate with which was extra helpful because we live out of state. He showed up on time and was very thorough. The owner of the house we were looking at had disclosed some issues, but Chris found SO MUCH MORE. Because of his good work, we did not buy a money pit. Will ABSOLUTELY use him to do our next inspection.

Chris has done an inspection at 2 different houses for my family. Both times he was extremely thorough at his inspection and very helpful at explaining what all he found. We didnt put an offer on a house because of what Chris was able to find versus what we didnt see. That alone saved us thousands of dollars. His reports are also super well done with pictures and videos. I couldnt imagine having gone through this process with anyone but him. If you need an inspection, this is absolutely the guy you need to call!

I am a first time homebuyer and the inspection was the area I was the most apprehensive about. Chris guided me through the entire process, explaining very thoroughly each part. He also answered any questions I had, whether big or small. I felt so much more confident moving forward as well as more confident in what I should look for if and when I look at other homes in the future. He was knowledgeable in every aspect of the home and even pointed out some tell tale things to look out for when needing to know if something is done the right way. Chris Ivy inspected two houses for me, and if it hadn’t been for his very detailed, extensive inspection, I would have purchased the first one, which would have been a big mistake. After inspecting the second house he called me and went over all of the details related to his findings. He had me come at the end of his inspection for a walkthrough of everything he noted, good and bad.
