We had Shawn Fincanon with TexInspec do an inspection on 9/13/24 on a house we are planning to buy. He found many issues with the house we had missed in our layman inspection of the place and its equipment and appliances, and this resulted in a list of 8-10 issues the sellers have agreed to repair prior to the sale. This may save us $thousands in repairs we would have had to address after closing and moving in. Three of the main issues were with the roof, the foundation, and the water heater, and you know how expensive those can be to repair/replace.Shawn was very thorough, taking about 3 hours to go over the entire house. He went up on the roof, into the attic, and took photos of everything - issues which we could never have seen. He was professional and polite, and took the time to walk me through, in laymans words, every issue, as well as putting together a very comprehensive report, complete with the photos taken of everything. Highly recommend!

Charles and Travis did our home inspection for the house we were buying. We paid for their pipe scope and mold test as well. They did a wonderful job. They were very friendly and had no problems with me following them around and listening in, or answering any questions that I had. They were careful with the property and thorough. When they finished they sat us down and went through all the details, letting us know what were big concerns and things that weren’t. Thanks to the pipe camera scope we were able to find what looked like porcelain scraps in the plumbing. Charles didn’t think it would be too big of a deal, but suggested we get a plumber out to brush the debris. Long story short, we told the sellers to get someone out, and it turned into them replacing the entire pipe from the house to the city pipe. Over $10k in repairs that we didn’t have to pay for thanks to them getting a thorough scoping of the plumbing. WELL worth the money!! I really appreciated their upbeat vibes as well. As a first time homebuyer, it can be very nerve-wracking. So to have some optimism and good energy around definitely made the experience better. I highly recommend TexInspect!

I first saw Steve in action when he came to inspect the home I was selling - due to WFH I was not able to leave home as is customary and therefore was able to observe Steve finding all there was the matter (and, being the owner, I new exactly what was the matter!). He was, as usual, very thorough, and not only did he discover quite a few issues with the property, but he explained which ones could be relatively cheap and easy to fix and which could potentially be very expensive. I absolutely loved Gary! He was very thorough in his inspection and was a joy to work with. He took the time to point out little things that would be big things later, used his expertise as a former plumber and electrician to ensure I was educated on issues with the home. He presented me with paperwork that was easy to read, detailed in regards to flaws in the home, and made sure I had time to review it and ask questions. He walked me around the house to make sure that any questions I had werent just answered, but point out!Absolute professional and very happy with his work.
